Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) merupakan kompetensi krusial dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, namun implementasinya dalam instrument penelitian, khususnya soal pillihan ganda Akuntansi Fase F seringkali terkendala kesulitan guru dalam menganalisis kualitas butir soal secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan efektivitas pengecoh pada soal HOTS mata Pelajaran Akuntansi menggunakan program komputer Anates V.4. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menganalisis data dari 45 butir soal ujian siswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 45 butir soal (76,67%) valid dalam memiliki reliabilitas keseluruhan yang tinggi, dengan dominasi tingkat kesukaran sedang. Namun, ditemukan bahwa beberapa pengecoh tidak berfungsi efektif, yang mengindikasikan perlunya revisi. Secara praktis, penelitian ini membuktikan efisensi Anates sebagai alat bantu guru untuk merevitalisasi bank soal, sehingga dapat menghasilkan instrument penilaian HOTS yang lebih berkualitas. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi analisis berbasis software terhadap soal HOTS Akuntansi Fase F secara spesifik, dengan fosis mendalam pada analisis efektivitas pengecoh yang masih jarang dieksplorasi dalam konteks serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of multiple-choice test items in the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Teaching Module using a quantitative descriptive approach. A total of 45 items were administered to 25 respondents, consisting of vocational high school students and accounting students, through Google Forms. The Anates software was used to examine item validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination index, and distractor effectiveness. The results show that the test has a very high reliability coefficient of 0.96, indicating excellent internal consistency. The validity analysis reveals that 33.33% of the items fall into the very high category, 17.78% high, 15.56% moderate, 6.67% low, and 26.67% very low. In terms of difficulty, most items are categorized as easy to moderate, while several are very difficult, suggesting an imbalanced distribution. Analysis of the discrimination index indicates that most items effectively distinguish between high- and low-performing students, although some items require revision due to low or negative discrimination values. The distractor analysis also shows variation in effectiveness, with some options failing to function as intended. Overall, the test is considered reliable and generally representative, but revisions to items with low validity, extreme difficulty levels, weak discrimination power, and ineffective distractors are recommended to enhance the overall quality of the assessment instrument.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of test items developed by Accounting Education students at Universitas Negeri Surabaya for the topic of Principles and Concepts of Accounting and Basic Banking. The analysis was conducted using the Anates application to evaluate item validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power, and distractor effectiveness. Twenty respondents, consisting of vocational students and undergraduate accounting education students, completed a set of 63 multiple-choice items. The results show that the test has a high reliability coefficient, indicating strong internal consistency. However, many items were categorized as very easy, had low discrimination power, or contained ineffective distractors, suggesting the need for revision. Only about half of the items met acceptable validity criteria. These findings emphasize the importance of empirical item analysis in producing accurate and fair evaluation instruments, and highlight the necessity of improving pre-service teachers’ competence in test development and psychometric assessment.
