Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the financial and non-financial aspects of Mandiri tofu business. Data analysis methods used are qualitative (legal, environmental, market and marketing, technical and management and human resource aspects) and quantitative to analyze financial aspects through four investment criteria, namely NPV, IRR, Net B / C, payback period. Non-financial aspects of the legal aspect are unfeasible because the Business Ownership Permit only has a Letter of Submission of Land Tenure by Compensation. The management aspect isn’t feasible because this business doesn’t yet have a good financial record and doesn’t have an organizational structure. Environmental aspects aren’t feasible because it discharges its wastewater directly to the nearest river without special treatment. The financial analysis used NPV value obtained at Rp 109,897,985, Net B / C at 2.02, IRR at 49.26%, and payback period for three years and ten months eleven days on the first investment and NPV value obtained at Rp 66,127,532, Net B / C is 1.25, IRR is 34.06%, and the payback period is two years ten months and thirteen days on the second investment. Financial and non-financial aspects state Mandiri tofu business is feasible to except in legal, management, and environmental aspects.

Abstract

Pasar adalah lokasi atau serangkaian kondisi yang mempertemukan pembeli dan penjual semua jenis barang yang sama dengan pasar modren dan pasar tradisional. Pasar modern (indomaret dan alfamart) adalah pasar di mana produk dijual dengan harga yang tepat dan layanan swalayan disediakan dan tidak adanya proses tawar menawar.Pasar tradisional adalah tempat bertemunya penjual dan pembeli ditandai dengan transaksi atau tawar menawar antara penjual dan pembeli langsung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui dampak keberadaan pasar modern Alfamart dan Indomaret terhadap pasar tradisional di Kabupaten Simalungun, 2) Mengetahui apakah keberadaan pasar modern Alfamart dan Indomaret menyebabkan turunnya Pendapatan pasar tradisional di Kabupaten simalungun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel ini adalah sampling jenuh atau sensus. Dalam penelitian ini karena jumlah populasinya sedikit (terbatas) sehingga tidak memungkinkan untuk menggunakan sampel, sehingga peneliti mengambil jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi atau disebut dengan sensus yaitu jumlah pedagang sebanyak 30 orang. Terdiri dari pedagang sembako sebanyak 30 orang, 1 konsumen pasar modern dan 1 konsumen pasar tradisional. Hasil menujukkan bahwa dampak keberadaan pasar modern Alfamart dan Indomaret terhadap pasar tradisional di ketiga kecamatan kabupaten simalungun yaitu pendapatan pedagang pasar tradisional sebelum pasar modern yaitu Rp3.777.000/bulan turun menjadi Rp1.406.334/bulan.Sedangkan dampak bagi pedagang sembako yakni mengalami turunnya omset dan berkurangnya konsumen. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan Alfamart dan Indomaret menyebabkan menurunnya volume bahan pangan yang terjual di pasar tradisional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing channels and efficiency of watermelon marketing in Paya Itik Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research location was chosen purposively, with watermelon farmers selected using purposive sampling, while marketing institutions were chosen using snowball sampling. Data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to examine the marketing channels, while quantitative analysis was employed to calculate marketing margins, farmer’s share, and marketing efficiency. The results identified three marketing channels, with the third channel having the highest marketing margin, while the first channel provided the highest farmer’s share. In terms of efficiency, marketing channels I and II for grade A watermelons were considered efficient, with marketing efficiency between 0-33%. This study offers insights into efficient watermelon marketing patterns and has the potential to help farmers improve profitability by optimizing their choice of marketing channels.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the growth response of Cordyceps militaris in several growing media, determine the best growing media for cultivating Cordyceps militaris and determine the effectiveness of cultivating Cordyceps militaris against fire caterpillar larvae (Setothosea assigna). This research was carried out using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design method, with 3 growing media treatments, namely N1 = Bran, N2 = Rice and N3 = Corn. The number of repetition was 6. Data analysis uses Anova, where if the results showed a significant and very siognificant effect, it was continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the growth medium had no significant effect on the density of yellow fungus and white fungus conidia, the viability of yellow fungus and white fungus condidia. The growth media of C. militaris is found in brand media, which is observed from the viability of fungus, both in yellow and white conidia, which can kill Setothosea assigna larvae which are marked in bran, rice and corn media at the age of 11-19 day after application, causing mortality between 93,34-100%,
