Abstract

General Background: In the contemporary business landscape, companies are increasingly competing to deliver fast, convenient, and high-quality services, particularly within the beauty industry, which has gained significant traction among young women. Specific Background: The proliferation of social media platforms has emerged as a vital marketing tool for beauty brands, enhancing their reach and engagement with potential customers. Knowledge Gap: Despite the recognized importance of digital marketing strategies, there is a paucity of comprehensive research analyzing the specific indicators that contribute to the selling power of beauty products in an online context. Aims: This study aims to evaluate the digital marketing strategies employed by Camille Beauty and their effectiveness in enhancing product sales. Results: Utilizing a descriptive qualitative methodology, the research identifies five key indicators—accessibility, interactivity, entertainment, credibility, and informativeness—that Camille Beauty integrates into its digital marketing approach. The implementation of these indicators has significantly boosted sales turnover and fostered customer trust. Novelty: This research uniquely highlights the critical role of these five digital marketing indicators in the beauty sector, providing a framework for other brands to enhance their online presence and sales effectiveness. Implications: The findings underscore the importance of a well-rounded digital marketing strategy, suggesting that brands in the beauty industry can achieve greater market penetration and consumer loyalty by focusing on these specific dimensions. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on digital marketing strategies, offering practical insights for beauty businesses aiming to thrive in a competitive digital marketplace.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic significance of digital marketing in influencing consumer behavior on social media, particularly within the used car trading sector exemplified by Citra Mobil Indo. General Background: As digital platforms increasingly dominate marketing landscapes, businesses are tasked with adapting to new consumer engagement strategies. Specific Background: Citra Mobil Indo employs a targeted digital marketing approach, utilizing social media marketplaces to promote and sell used cars effectively. Knowledge Gap: Despite the proliferation of digital marketing in the automotive sector, there remains a lack of comprehensive analysis regarding its efficacy and the specific challenges encountered in these online environments. Aims: This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Citra Mobil Indo's digital marketing strategies and identify the obstacles faced in the sales process. Results: Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, findings reveal that Citra Mobil Indo's sales efforts on Facebook Marketplace are both relevant and aligned with ongoing market digitization trends, with 70% of sales conducted through digital channels from a sample of 10 transactions. Novelty: This study offers new insights into the application of digital marketing strategies in the used car industry, emphasizing the critical role of social media in shaping consumer interactions. Implications: The findings highlight the necessity for enhanced consumer protection measures against fraud within social media transactions, providing actionable recommendations for businesses to strengthen their digital marketing frameworks and safeguard against potential risks.

General Background: The rise of social media has fundamentally transformed consumer behavior, particularly in the fashion industry, where brands leverage platforms like Instagram to engage with consumers. Specific Background: Established in Indonesia in 2012, 3second has positioned itself as a prominent local brand within the casual wear segment, gaining traction through trendy designs and affordability. Knowledge Gap: Despite its growth, there is limited research analyzing the specific impact of 3second’s social media strategy on consumer perceptions and engagement within the local market. Aims: This study aims to conduct a content analysis of the Instagram account @3second to explore the nature of consumer interactions and the brand's influence on consumer attitudes toward local fashion products. Results: The analysis reveals that content shared on the @3second Instagram account is generally well-received, generating positive feedback from consumers. Key factors contributing to this positive reception include trendy designs, perceived quality, and affordability. Novelty: This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical insights into how local fashion brands in Indonesia utilize social media to cultivate consumer loyalty and brand recognition. Implications: The findings underscore the importance of engaging with consumers through interactive content and prompt responses, suggesting that local brands can enhance their market presence by effectively leveraging social media platforms to align with consumer preferences and trends.

Abstract

General Background: In the competitive landscape of the café industry, social media, particularly Instagram, has emerged as a pivotal tool for business development and consumer engagement. Specific Background: This study focuses on Red Coffee and Plants, which leverages Instagram to disseminate information and attract consumers, highlighting the platform's effectiveness in marketing strategies. Knowledge Gap: Despite the growing recognition of social media marketing, there is a lack of comprehensive analysis regarding the specific dimensions of social media marketing utilized by local cafes on platforms like Instagram. Aims: The primary aim of this research is to explore and identify the dimensions of social media marketing present in the Instagram account @redcoffee.id. Results: Utilizing qualitative methods, including purposive sampling and observations of the Instagram account, data was analyzed through the techniques outlined by Miles & Huberman—encompassing data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal four key dimensions of social media marketing: interaction, share of content, accessibility, and credibility. Novelty: This study contributes to the understanding of how local cafés can effectively use social media marketing dimensions to enhance consumer engagement and brand loyalty. Implications: The results underscore the importance of these marketing dimensions for café owners seeking to optimize their Instagram presence, suggesting that a strategic approach to social media can significantly enhance brand visibility and consumer relationships. This research provides valuable insights for practitioners aiming to develop effective social media marketing strategies in the café sector.
