Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze the role of work satisfaction in the influence of employee engagement and competency to performance.  This study is conducted on employees of a hospital in Central Java, Indonesia. One hundred respondents were taken by using simple random sampling method. Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used as an analytical technique. The result of this study shows that work satisfaction is able to be intervening variable; employee engagement and competency  positively significantly influence work satisfaction; and employee engagement, competency, and work satisfaction  positively significantly influence employee performance. Keywords: Employee engagement, competency, work satisfaction, employee performance

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of price, brand image and product quality on purchasing decision on Oriflame product (case study on Semarang branch of Oriflame consumer). Sampling technique in this study amounted to 100 respondents as a sample with data collection methods using questionnaires by distributing a list of questions to respondents to obtain information. The purpose of this study was formulated to determine the effect of price, brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions on Oriflame products. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis to test the validity of question items, cronbach alpha formula to test the reliability of each independent variable tested by regression analysis. The results of his research are: Price has a positive and significant influence on the decision of purchasing Oriflame product. Brand image has no effect on the decision of purchasing Oriflame product. And Product quality has a positive and significant influence on the decision of purchasing Oriflame product.Keywords: price, brand image, product quality and purchase decision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, price and promotion on the satisfaction of Kaligung train customers at the Tegal train station. The object of this study is the Kaligung train customer. The population of this study is the customer of Kaligung train service users. The total population of 560 passengers is taken from the number of passengers of the Kaligung train for one departure. The number of samples used was 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used include validity test, reliability test, normality test, model test with F test, determination coefficient test (R2) and hypothesis test (t test). The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression that service quality and price variables have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while the promotion variable does not affect customer satisfaction. Based on the analysis using multiple linear regression, the variable service quality is most dominant in influencing the satisfaction of Kaligung train customers. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perngaruh kualitas produk, persepsi harga dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian sepeda motor. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah konsumen sepeda motor Honda di Pekalongan. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang sudah membeli unit sepeda motor Honda di Pekalongan dan jumlahnya tidak diketahui. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang membeli unit sepeda motor Honda di Pekalongan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji model dengan uji F, uji koefisien determinasi (R2), dan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda bahwa variabel persepsi harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap proses keputusan pembelian Sementara variabel kualitas produk dan citra merek tidak berpengaruh terhadap proses keputusan pembelian. Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of product quality, price and quality of service to customer satisfaction on Waroeng Special Sambal branch Sampangan. Analyzer used multiple regression, as for to test hypothesis using t test. Data collection through questionnaires with measurements using Likert scale 5 (five) alternative answers. The object of research on Waroeng Special Sambal "SS" branch Sampangan, with the number of samples 100 respondents by using sampling technique non probability sampling with purposive sampling collection method. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of product quality, brand image, and price on the process of purchasing Honda Beat motorcycles in the city of Semarang. The location of this research is in the city of Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang menggunakan dan membeli sepeda motor Honda Beat di Kota Semarang, karena partisipasi yang sangat besar maka penelitian ini mengambil sampel dengan jumlah 100 responden yang terkait dengan pendapat Roscoe dalam bukunya Ferdinand sampel sampel yang lebih besar dari 30 kurang dari 500 penelitian memadai. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer, dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data diolah dengan SPSS (Produk Statistik dan Solusi) versi 19 dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji F, uji koefisien determinasi (R²), dan uji t. The results of the study show that product quality does not affect the purchasing decision process, meaning that the quality of the product has no influence on the purchasing decision process. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision process, meaning that the better the brand image, the process of purchasing decisions will increase. Price has a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision process, meaning that the better the price offered, the purchasing decision process will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of price, product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction. The location in this study was at Banaran 9 coffee and tea restaurant Semarang. The population in this study were Banaran 9 customers coffee and tea Semarang restaurants, because the population is very large, this study uses a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique with purposive sampling data collection method. The purposive sampling criteria is that you have been a customer for at least 1 year and have income. The data used in this study is primary data, with a questionnaire as a research instrument. Data is processed with SPSS version 19 and the tools used are multiple linear regression, validity test, reliability test, F test, determination coefficient test (R2), and t test. The results of the study show that the price variable does not affect customer satisfaction, product quality and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of product quality, brand image, and price perception on purchasing decisions on wardah cosmetics. This study is a study on Unisbank female students wardah cosmetic users.The population of this research is Unisbank Student Wardah Cosmetic User. Sampling is done by using a purposive sampling method, namely students who buy and use wardah cosmetics. Determination of the sample is based on the opinion of Roscoe in Ferdinand (2006) stating that the sample size is as follows 3 x 25 = 75 samples. Based on this, the number of samples in the study were 100 respondents. The primary data collection method used is the questionnaire and interview method. Data were analyzed using test instruments, multiple linear regression, and model tests.The results showed that product quality has a negative effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, price perception has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The better the quality of the product, the lower the purchasing decision, the better the brand image, the higher the purchase decision, the better the perception of the price offered, the higher the purchase decision.Keywords: Product Quality, Brand Image, Price Perception and Purchasing Decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of product quality, brand image, and service quality on customer loyalty mediated by the satisfaction of Honda motorcycle customers. This research was conducted in the city of Semarang. The population in this study were customers who had used and purchased Honda motorbikes in the city of Semarang. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of customers who have used and purchased a Honda motorcycle at least 2 times a purchase. The sample was taken using the opinion of Roscoe. The sample size is determined 25 times the independent variable, so that 3 x 25 = 75 respondents. Therefore, this study determined as many as 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using validity test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, F test, determination coefficient test (R2), t test, and mediation test. Data analysis techniques were carried out using the SPSS 19 computer program. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality does not affect customer satisfaction, product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, brand image does not affect customer loyalty, service quality does not affect customer loyalty. The mediation test results in this study indicate that product quality influences customer loyalty mediated customer satisfaction, brand image influences customer loyalty mediated customer satisfaction, service quality does not directly or indirectly affect customer loyalty.

Abstract

In daily life a human often does a work with a machine. Commonly a work can be accomplished by many machines. Conversely one machine can finish many works. Tasking model is a special form of linear programming used to seek the most efficient task to determine whether a work can be accomplished by which machine. The main goal of tasking model is to find work and machine pairs in such a way that it can minimize total cost.Main characteristic of tasking model is a machine is focused for a work and conversely a work is only finished with one machine. The term for such condition is one to one correspondence or one to one basis so the number of employees must be the same with number of machine. The problem is how to pair five works with five machines in such a way to minimize cost. Though linear programming can be used to gain optimum solution of work and machine, a more efficient algorith has been developed to accomplish the problem. The method is called Hungarian method.By using Method of Hungarian, it is derived work and machine pairs in such a way so that minimum cost can be gained amounted 1.700.000.000,-.
