Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar curriculum is a manifestation of the real changes made by the government in the field of education as an effort to improve the quality and quality of education in Indonesia. This 2022-2023 school year, the government hopes that several schools will be able to implement learning with an independent learning curriculum. However, the fact that lapagan, especially among schools based on islamic boarding schools, the independent learning curriculum is not easy to implement without special assistance from experts. Therefore, we as part of the educators try to help the government to introduce the learning process with an independent learning curriculum in Islamic boarding schools. Our partner is Pondok Pesantren Al-Azizah 1 Bancaran, Bangkalan Regency. Our method of service is to introduce the learning process of the independent learning curriculum to students and students using the help of teaching modules that we have compiled before. Based on the results of this service program, we can draw the conclusion that the existence of modules that are designed by themselves according to the level of characteristics of students and students can make it easier to implement the learning process of the independent learning curriculum. In addition, the introduction of the independent learning curriculum that we do to the community in partner schools can help them construct their own knowledge using the learning experiences they already have. This indirectly gives rise to creative ideas

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) batik tulis di beberapa daerah khususnya di Kabupaten Bangkalan mulai bermunculan, hal ini dikarenakan banyak masyarakat yang sadar akan adanya peluang usaha batik tulis. Malabis adalah salah satu UMKM yang terletak di Kecamatan Kamal Kabupaten Bangkalan yang usahanya juga bergerak di bidang penjualan batik tulis Madura. UMKM ini sudah berjalan sekitar lebih dari 10 tahun, namun sangat disayangkan proses pembukuan hasil penjualan di UMKM ini belum tercatat dengan rapi dan belum menggunakan teknologi sehingga berdampak pada sulitnya pemilik usaha untuk mengetahui omzet penjualan secara berkala. Akibatnya, UMKM ini masih belum berani mengambil langkah-langkah untuk meluaskan usaha mereka. Oleh karena itu, kami menawarkan kepada pemilik UMKM ini untuk mengadakan sosialisasi terkait proses pembuatan pembukuan sederhana dengan menggunakan program excel sehingga akan lebih mudah mendeteksi omzet penjualan secara berkala. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini kami adakan sebanyak 3 secara luring dan pesertanya melibatkan seluruh karyawan dari UMKM Batik Malabis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah UMKM batik tulis Malabis memiliki pembukuan sederhana untuk penjualan dengan menggunakan program excel sehingga proses pencatatan keluar masuknya barang dan penghitungan omzet secara berkala lebih mudah dan lebih cepat dilakukan. Selain itu, adanya sosialisasi ini juga membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan karyawan dalam menggunakan teknologi.

Abstract

Aluminum 6061 is an aluminum alloy, which contains aluminum as main entails, then magnesium and silicon are mixed as alloying elements. It had a good capability for corrosion resistance, heat treatable, formed, and welded. Computerized Numerical Control had excellent capability to process mass-production products. Unsubstantial machining parameter setting will lead to a lack of surface roughness or even worse damage on tool steel. The aim of this research is to arrange data about surface integrity conducted by Dry-running machining CNC Milling. Surface integrity included surface roughness and micro-cracks. Aluminum 6061 is chosen as the material. The observed parameter machining in this research is cutting speed 3 is levels 60, 70, 80 mm/minute, then depth of cut is 3 levels 300, 380, 450 mm/minute and depth of cut is 3 levels 0.5, 0.75, 1.0mm. Taguchi L9 (33) was used as a design experiment to find optimum parameters. Based on the result of the experiment in this research, the optimum surface roughness founded on the machining parameter combination of cutting speed was 80 m/min, feed rate 300 mm/min, and depth of cut was 0.5 mm.

Abstract

literacy rate, evidenced by the minimal number of written works produced by its residents. To address this issue, particularly among educators and students, we proposed a community service program aimed at enhancing literacy skills in scientific writing. This program was designed to provide socialization and assistance in writing for students and educators in one of the schools in Bangkalan Regency. The objective of this community service program is to improve the scientific writing skills of educators and students. The implementation process begins with socialization sessions covering the necessary preparations for writing scientific works, essential elements of scientific writing, and the use of Mendeley. These socialization sessions were conducted three times, followed by a mentoring process where our team assisted participants until they produced scientific papers ready for publication. The community service program concluded with participants completing a questionnaire to evaluate their responses to the program. As a result of these activities, ten written works were produced, ready for publication in journals or print media. Questionnaire results indicate that 95% of participants felt motivated to write scientific papers, and 100% responded positively to the community service activities.

Abstract

Digitalisasi Inentasris merupakan kewajiban bagi tiap institusi termasuk Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Daerah Bangkalan, Sebuah sistem database pemetaan yang dapat mempercepat proses pendataan inventaris yang dimilikinya. Institusi tersebut sebelumnya melakukan proses pendataan ini secara manual. Maka untuk mengimplementasikan aplikasi berbasis dekstop yang diperoleh dari permasalahan tersebut. Perlu beberapa pendukung, seperti Eclipse, XAMPP, Apache, MySQL JavaFX dan Scene Builder. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya aplikasi ini penggunaan Aplikasi Sistem Pemetaan inventaris barang menjadi solusi dari permasalahan pendataan barang yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi dinas komunikasi dan informatika untuk mendatan barang milik dinas tersebut secara lebih efektif. Aplikasi dirancang dengan tab menu yang dirancang untuk penelusuran inventaris berdasarkan jenis, fungsi, brand dan tahun. Database pemetaan inventaris pada aplikasi ini  berdasarkan kriteria barang, sumber pengadaan, bidang, jenis barang, identitas pada kendaraan bermotor, brand, dan pengguna dari asset tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil quisioner menunjukkan aplikasi memuaskan dan dapat mempermudah pemetaan barang,Kata kunci:Aplikasi, Database, Inventaris, JavaFX, MySql, Pemetaan.

Abstract

Using fly ash and natural fibers as environmentally friendly composite materials is expected to reduce the negative impact of fly ash as industrial waste, turning it into a material with added value. One of the methods in composite manufacturing is the compression molding method. This research aims to analyze the influence of compaction loading variations on the hardness values of epoxy composites reinforced with corn husk-fly ash powder. The research begins with producing composite specimens containing corn husk powder (20% wt) and fly ash (10% wt). The specimens are pressed with compaction loading variations of 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons, and 4 tons. The specimens from the compression molding are then subjected to sintering treatment at 150°C for 1 hour, followed by Shore D hardness testing. The results show that the composite material's hardness increases with the compaction loading. The highest hardness is achieved at a compaction load of 4 tons with a hardness value of 80.3 SHD. The compaction process of the composite material produces a fly ash structure that undergoes agglomeration or structural densification. This phenomenon results in an increase in the hardness of the material along with an increase in the compaction loading.

Abstract

Corncobs were agricultural waste, while sawdust was waste of furniture industries.  Both materials can well decomposition naturally, but it was still time-consuming. The aim of this research to provide both wastes by converting them into sustainable and worthwhile solid-fuels briquettes format. In this research, variation of mixture ratio of corn cob powder and sawdust in briquettes used was 50:50, 60:40, 70:30, 80:20, and 90:10. 1:1 ratio of tapioca starch and water was used as the adhesive to bond the briquette mixture well. Compaction process used hydraulics by 2 tons pressing load. Testing of physical characteristics includes calorific value, moisture, and ash content. The lowest calorific value was 4589.94 kCal/g, which was achieved in the 50:50 mixture of corn cob and sawdust. The highest calorific value was 6579.87 kCal/g, which was achieved in the combination of a corn cob and sawdust ratio of 90:10. The calorific value continued to increase with more mixture of corn cob. Highest moisture content was 20.00%, achieved in 50:50 combination mixture of corn cob and sawdust. Moisture content decreased as the ratio of corn cobs used in the briquettes increased, with the lowest content obtained at 8.88% using a 90:10 mixture of corn cobs and sawdust. Highest ash content on this research 16.85%, was achieved in the 50:50 combination of corncob and sawdust. Ash content also tended to decrease with the increase of corn cob powder used in the briquettes. Lowest ash content was obtained at 10.10% using a mixture of corn cob and sawdust 90:10.

Abstract

Aluminum alloy 5052-H32 sheet was applied widely in automotive industries, especially for body panel, trunk lid, door, roof, fender and bonnet. It was had numerous advantages such as excellent particular strength, high density, machinability, manufacturing method, high electrical conductivity and availability in various applications. The aims of this research is to provide optimum setting laminate oxide layer on the surface of Aluminum alloy sheet 5052-H32, also to analyze the microstructure and mechanical properties of deposited coatings as well as to compare the performance of anodization and plasma electrolytic oxidation coating in Aluminum alloy 5052-H32 sheet. Factorial L 2x3 was applied as design experiment. Which is current parameter had 2 levels; 200 and 250 minutes. Parameter Coating duration had 3 levels 15, 20, 30 minutes. The oxide layer coating is seen by conducting surface characterization. The improvement of surface hardness by micro-hardness test from 35.3 VHN to 65.8 VHN for anodizing coating, and plasma electrolytic oxidation coating is in the average of 67.9 VHN. The mechanical properties for surface hardness and adhesion strength of aluminum oxide coated of Aluminum alloy sheet 5052-H32 improved.

Abstract

Through unwavering professionalism and adherence to ethical standards, our engineering team is at the forefront of sustainable development, utilizing advanced technology and innovative sand-casting techniques to create environmentally-friendly solution. Sand-casting offers material flexibility over large part capabilities on low volume production. This method also offers lower casting costs and generates less carbon print. Currently, sand casting use water, bentonite, and quartz sand as dice materials. Researchers are looking for to find quartz sand substitution materials because they are not sustainable and expensive. Rice-husk ass is a waste post-harvesting material, it had silica and magnesium oxide which has characteristics similar to quartz sand. The aim of this research is to observe permeability characteristic of sand dice with rice-husk ass and bentonite percentage additive mixture. This research using full factorial 32 as experimental design.  The independent variable on this research is composition of rice husk ass and bentonite.  The composition of rice husk ash has 3 levels of 6%, 8% and 10%. bentonite composition also has similar level but different levels of 8%, 9% and 10%. The lowest permeability is 320 ml/min, it achieved on 6% rice husk ash and 8% bentonite at second replication. Meanwhile, the highest value of permeability is 450ml/min, it achieved on 10% rice husk ash and 10% bentonite. The results of data processing using descriptive statistics reveal composition mixture of rice husk ass and bentonite is directly proportional. The higher composition of rice husk ash mixture increasing permeability on sand casting dice. General linear Model ANOVA analyse show that composition rice husk ass and bentonite have significant influence to permeability of sand-casting dice. Result of analyse show rice husk ass has dominant contribution on permeability on sand casting dice. Contribution of rice husk ass is 58,78%, bentonite 22,03% prior to permeability on sand casting dice.
