Abstract

Sektor kuliner kini menunjukkan berbagai upaya kebangkitan setelah lumpuh akibat munculnyapandemi Covid-19 pada Maret 2020 di Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah hadirnya event SIALInterfood Expo 2022 harapannya menjadi langkah pasti untuk keberlanjutan usaha bagi pelakuusaha kuliner. Penyelenggara event ini menggunakan Instagram sebagai media promosinya,sehingga masyarakat dapat hadir di pameran SIAL Interfood 2022. Sifat interaktivitas, biaya,jangkauan audiens yang lebih luas dan spesifik menjadikan media sosial Instagram mampumenjangkau penggunanya serta mendorong penggunanya untuk berkunjung. Tujuan daripenelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan media Instagram terhadap minatberkunjung pengguna Instagram @interfoodexpo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankuantitatif eksplanatif dengan paradigma positivisme dengan unit analisisnya yaitu followers@interfoodexpo. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probabilitas sebanyak 100 responden.Pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner menggunakan google form melalui directmessage Instagram, Whatsapp chat, dan Twitter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terpaan mediasosial Instagram berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung pada SIAL Interfood Expo2022. Temuan lainnya mengungkapkan nilai pengaruh terpaan media termasuk cukup tinggi yakni31,2%, sementara itu sebesar 68,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya yang tidak disebutkan danditeliti dalam penelitian ini. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat meneliti denganmenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif mengenai responden dari penelitian ini yang didominasi olehgender perempuan.

Abstract

Saat ini, masyarakat dengan mudahnya memeroleh informasi apapun dari suatu media, termasuk pemberitaan tindkat kejahatan. Salah satu contoh pemberitaan yang kerap diberitakan di media adalah mengenai tindak kriminal begal. Dalam sebuah penelitian dinyatakan bahwa khalayak yang terterpa pemberitaan kriminal mengalami perasaan cemas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara terpaan pemberitaan begal terhadap tingkat kecemasan masyarakat, dengan studi kasus pemberitaan begal anggota Brimob. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanatif untuk melihat sebab akibat antar variabelnya. Variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel terpaan pemberitaan begal (X) dan variabel tingkat kecemasan (Y). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa dan siswi SMA/SMK sederajat di wilayah Kecamatan Pasar Rebo, Jakarta Timur. Sampel berjumlah 100 responden. Data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara terpaan pemberitaan begal terhadap tingkat kecemasan siswi SMA/SMK sederajat di wilayah Kecamatan Pasar Rebo. Berdasarkan uji F memperlihatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Adapun nilai T hitung lebih besar dari pada T tabel, dengan T hitung sebesar 11.694 > 1,984 T tabel (df = N-2). Besaran pengaruh yang dihasilkan terpaan pemberitaan begal terhadap tingkat kecemasan warga dapat dikatakan besar dengan dilihat berdasarkan uji determinasi yaitu sebesar 58,3%. Arah pengaruh dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bersifat positif, sehingga dapat diartikan semakin tinggi terpaan pemberitaan begal semakin tinggi pula tingkat kecemasan.

Abstract

Nyeri disminorea merupakan masalah umum pada perempuan yang mengalami menstruasi. Penangan nyeri haid dapat dilakukan dengan cara nonfarmakologi atau tanpa obat. Namun belum banyak remaja yang memanfaatkan Teknik nonfarmakologi. Tujuan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan edukasi latihan tehnik imajinasi terbimbing pada remaja sebagai upaya penanganan disminore. Metode edukasi menggunakan ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan Latihan. Peserta mendapatkan informasi dari powerpoint materi dan dilakukan pembagian leaflet sebagai media informasi yang bisa dibawa pulang. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 23 siswa remaja putri SMK Keperawatan Meilia Medika. Hasil kegiatan yaitu telah terlaksananya edukasi dan Latihan tehnik imajinasi terbimbing pada remaja sebagai upaya penanganan disminore. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pengalaman remaja putri dalam penanganan disminore. Melihat hasil yang ada maka dapat disimpulkan kegiatan berjalan lancar dan sesuai dengan tujuan.

Abstract

This study examines literary works in the form of films via a sociological approach. The purpose of this study is to describe the major characters’ characterizations and define the different kinds of social interactions in Peter Sohn’s 2023 film Elemental: Forces of Nature. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study described sources and information as research objects, such as dialogue or transcripts and movie stills. This study made use of Tischler's social interaction theory (Nonverbal Behavioral Interaction, Exchange Interaction, Cooperative Interaction, Conflict Interaction, and Competitive Interaction) as well as Petrie and Boggs' characterization theory (Appearance, Dialogue, External Actions, Reactions from Other Characters). 32 social interaction data points were gathered for this study, which showed how social interactions influenced the main character's description based on her words, actions, and behaviors. First, two data were reflected in characterization through appearance, four data were reflected in characterization through external activities, and three data were reflected in characterization through other characters' reactions in social interactions that took the form of nonverbal behavioral exchange. In addition, social contacts in the form of exchange encounters revealed that two data were represented in characterization through other characters' reactions, four data were reflected in characterization of external activities, and five data were reflected in characterization through dialogue. Subsequently, five data were represented in characterization through external actions, and one data was reflected in characterization through discussion in the form of cooperative social engagement. Lastly, social interactions in the form of conflict interaction revealed two data represented in appearance characterization, three data reflected in dialogue characterization, and one data reflected in other characters' reactions. This investigation did not find any competitive interaction. According to the study's findings, the primary character's characterization varies as a result of the social interactions in its environment.

Abstract

This study focused on Magical Realism and aimed to identify the elements of magical realism presented in the movie Sorry to Bother You by Boots Riley. It specifically concentrated on revealing the five key elements of magical realism using Wendy B. Faris' theory. The data was analysed through a descriptive qualitative method, and note-taking was used to collect relevant information. The results showed that the elements of magical realism are clearly narrated in the movie, influencing the characters. This was demonstrated by the presence of all five magical realism elements: Irreducible Elements, Phenomenal World, Unsettling Doubt, Merging Realms, and Disruption of Time, Space, and Identity. This study also examined the levels of magical realism in the movie, confirming the strong presence of both magical and realistic aspects. This is evidenced in the movie's narrative, filled with Wendy B. Faris' magical realism characteristics, illustrating magical events in a modern setting. Moreover, Sorry to Bother You movie by Boots Riley is identified as a magical realism work due to the fulfillment of these elements and the strong balance between magic and realism.

Abstract

Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengembangan Karir, Kompensasi, Budaya Organisasi, Work Environment berpengaruh terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan pada PT. Tunas Madukara Indah 2 Wonosobo. Metodologi – Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Tunas Madukara Indah 2 Wonosobo dengan jumlah 553 dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 232 sampel diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji kualitas data, uji f, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis dengan metode regresi linier berganda, dan uji determinasi. Hasil - Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pengembangan Karir, Kompensasi, Budaya Organisasi, Work Environment berpengaruh positif terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan pada PT. Tunas Madukara Indah 2 Wonosobo. Keterbatasan – Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, sehingga dimungkinkan jawaban responden sesuai dengan pemahaman responden dan bersifat subjektif Implikasi – Diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi PT. Tunas Madukara Indah Wonosobo dalam bidang Sumber Daya Manusia dan dapat meningkatkan dan membantu perusahaan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih produktif, berkelanjutan dan menumbuhkan rasa loyalitas/setia terhadap perusahaannya.

Abstract

This study delves into the effects of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM), hedonic and utilitarian browsing on e-satisfaction, and their influence on electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) in Indonesia's online marketplace. The digital commerce landscape emphasizes e-CRM's importance in managing customer interactions. Surveying 962 active users, this quantitative study reveals significant links between browsing behaviors and e-satisfaction, underlining diverse user preferences. Positive associations with eWOM suggest satisfied users advocate for brands. However, e-CRM shows non-significant ties with user satisfaction or eWOM, indicating the need for refined strategies aligned with user expectations. Theoretical implications support established models, offering insights into consumer behavior. This research enriches understanding of Indonesian online shopping, guiding tailored marketing communication strategies to boost satisfaction and eWOM endorsements. Future research could explore additional factors and strategies to optimize online retail experiences.

Abstract

The article aim is to understand how kompas.com and sindonews.com on the period of 16 October 2017 up to 21 October 2017 framing the news related to food governance in Indonesia using Entman Framing Analysis. Entman Framing is an alternative method to see media differentiation in reveal the reality. According to the researcher, the two media possess its own differentiation in interpreting those realities, so that media could be considered as reader mindset influencer. The concept and theory of the article is agenda setting, reality construct, Entman framing, news and online media. The article method is qualitative using news article as analysis unit. The result show that the two online media emphasize issue about food governance management system. But the assertion of the two news are different; kompas.com tend to build and develop the village and farmer regeneration aspect, while sindonews.com emphasized on reinforcement the management system of food governance.

Abstract

This study explores the complex dynamics of online consumer behavior in Indonesia's online marketplaces, particularly focusing on how hedonic and utilitarian browsing, alongside electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM), impact e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. Grounded in theoretical frameworks like the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Expectancy-Disconfirmation Model (EDM), and Social Influence Theory (SIT), the research investigates the varying behaviors across different age groups—Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected via online surveys targeting active marketplace users. The findings reveal distinct generational responses: Millennials and Generation X exhibit stronger associations between browsing behaviors and positive electronic outcomes, such as e-satisfaction, eWOM, and e-loyalty, compared to Baby Boomers. The study underscores the role of marketing communications in fostering positive consumer experiences, highlighting that tailored, segment-specific strategies are essential for improving brand loyalty. Millennials are more influenced by personalized and engaging content, while Generation X values practicality and reliability, and Baby Boomers prioritize trust and customer service. This research provides empirical insights into how businesses can leverage marketing communications to enhance consumer satisfaction and loyalty. The study also offers practical recommendations for businesses to optimize their strategies in Indonesia’s competitive online marketplace by addressing the unique preferences of different generational cohorts. Future research should investigate additional factors influencing consumer behavior and evaluate the long-term effectiveness of segment-specific marketing approaches.

Abstract

This research analyzes the exorcism dialog in the film The Pope's Exorcist (2023), especially the prayers uttered by the main character in the exorcism ritual. The purpose of this research is to describe the speech acts elements in the exorcism prayers using Austin's (1962) speech acts theory which includes locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary, so as to explain whether the utterances in the exorcism prayers are constative or performative according on their respective characteristics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with pragmatics analysis approach. Data in the form of exorcism prayers excerpts were analyzed based on the three main elements of speech acts. The results show that locutionary act reflect the typical structure of general prayers and exorcism prayers in the Catholic Church's faith. Illocutionary act function as commands, requests, and declaratives that reflect the spiritual authority of the exorcist. While perlocutionary act have an impact on demon and the possessed individual. Overall, exorcism prayers tends to be performative in nature as it not only conveys meaning (constative), but also acts visibly in the context of religious rituals. This research contributes to the study of pragmatic linguistics in religious-horror films and provides insight into the use of language in the context of religious rituals, especially in the case of exorcism.
