Abstract

Correctional Institutions are government institutions that carry out coaching programs for convicts based on the Correctional System. The Correctional System focuses on care, coaching, education and guidance for correctional inmates with the aim of restoring the basic unity of relationships between individual inmates and society. The education that prison inmates receive is not in the form of cruelty or slavery so that in the future they will not repeat their crimes, for example, but rather in the development of competence, talent and potential in every inmate. The existence of the Class II B Penitentiary in Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal district, is a place for fostering and developing competence, especially in terms of knowledge and religious practices of the inmates. The method that the author uses in this service is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This method utilizes assets and potentials around the environment and is controlled by the local community. The mentoring technique that will be carried out in this service is strengthening competence, namely regarding the practice of fardhu kifayah. This activity is important to know and provide religious education for prisoners, especially fardhu kifayah religious practices

Abstract

Fatwa is the result of Islamic law exploration on an issue. The MUI fatwa on interfaith greetings has opened up a discussion space on the concept of tasyabbuh. This article seeks to interpret the concept of tasyabbuh contained in the hadith and its contextualization in the MUI fatwa. The research method used is interpretive qualitative research with a literature study model with the object of research being the MUI fatwa number 02 of 2024 Ijtima' ulama commission fatwa. The data were obtained through the e-book of the collection of Ijtima' ulama commission fatwa throughout Indonesia VIII in 2024, from digital journals and related research materials, with the data analysis process using a descriptive review using a historical approach. Source triangulation is used as an effort to maintain the validity of the data. From the results of the study, it was found that first, interfaith greetings according to the MUI are something that should not be used except in an emergency and needed. This is in accordance with the argument of the tasyabbuh hadith which has hasan quality. Second, the hadith about tasyabbuh in the argument of the fatwa requires a contextual approach so that it can minimize pros and cons.

Abstract

Boredom in learning Arabic often occurs among students due to the lack of variety in teaching methods. This phenomenon must be answered immediately by creating contemporary learning variations. This research aimed to develop a digital Arabic book for class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on communicative learning. This research is of the Research and Development (R&D) type with Borg and Gall development steps. After conducting a survey of student needs and carrying out the steps of development research, the researchers developed a digital Arabic book, available at https://amba.my.id/login. This digital book has been validated for suitability by two subject matter experts and one media design expert. In its implementation, this digital book is very interesting and easy for students to use, effectively reducing students' boredom while learning Arabic. Moreover, this digital book also effectively improves students' Arabic language skills.

Abstract

Penyediaan referensi bagi mahasiswa sangat penting dalam mendukung proses belajar. Adapun tujuan dalam riset ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi sumber belajar bagi mahasiswa bahasa Arab yang disediakan oleh perpustakaan STAIN Mandailing Natal. Dalam hal metode penulisan, riset ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi yang didasarkan pada kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan literatur bahasa Arab dan kegiatan mereka di Perpustakaan. Disamping itu, Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan proses observasi dan dokumentasi. Disamping itu, penggunaan analisis data untuk riset ini menggunakan analisa literatur dan reduksi data. Data yang diambil merupakan literatur bahasa Arab yang yang ditemukan dalam koleksi buku Perpustakaan. Hasil penulisan ini membuktikan bahwa perpustakaan STAIN Mandailing Natal merupakan perpustakaan yang menyediakan referensi bahasa Arab yang cukup relevan bagi mahasiswa bahasa Arab. Kemudian beberapa buku bahasa Arab tersebut juga memiliki relevansi dengan beberapa mata ajar bidang bahasa Arab di Prodi STAIN Mandailing Natal

Abstract

Konflik adalah bagian dari proses kekuasaan. Dengan adanya konflik, semua hal yang terkait dengan kebijakan yang digunakan dalam menjalankan kekuasaan akan mengarah pada kepentingan-kepentingan bagi yang berkuasa. Adapun tujuan jurnal ini adalah memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan bentuk konflik dalam novel “Ukhruj Minha ya Mal’un” karya Saddam Hussein. Adapun metode analisa yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan konflik yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dalam novel “Ukhruj Minha ya Mal’un” karya Saddam Hussein terdiri atas tiga bentuk konflik yang terdapat dalam novel ini yaitu otoritarianisme, kapitalisme dan vandalisme. Otoritarianisme dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan istri kepala suku untuk merebut kekuasaan dan mempengaruhi pemimpin suku romawi untuk berkuasa. Kapitalisme dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan kekayaan untuk berkuasa dengan sewenang-wenang serta bekerja sama dengan pemimpin romawi untuk memonopoli pasar dan ekonomi. Sedangkan bentuk konflik berupa vandalisme diwujudkan dengan menebar ketakutan ditengah masyarakat dengan membunuh anak-anak dan wanita, membakar kebun dan membunuh hewan ternak masyarakat.

Abstract

This research focuses on the dual role of teachers in learning literature in the independent curriculum. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with a literature study approach. The object of the research is the policy of literature in the curriculum on the grounds that literature in the curriculum requires the role of teachers in the application process. The data were obtained through indirect observation techniques, and from other sources such as journals related to literary policies in the curriculum. Data analysis uses literature analysis through the stages of identification, evaluation and interpretation. The results of the study show that the independent curriculum incorporates literature into school lesson hours in the form of co-curricular in learning. Then the dual role of teachers in literary learning includes epistemological roles and axiological roles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemberdayaan wanita dalam sektor informal, dengan fokus pada pengemudi ojek Suru-Suru All Delivery di Mandailing Natal yang menjalankan peran ganda sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan pencari nafkah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengelolaan peran ganda tersebut, dampaknya terhadap ketahanan ekonomi keluarga, serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi pada lima partisipan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaan ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, pendidikan anak, dan tabungan keluarga, meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti kelelahan fisik, stigma sosial, dan masalah keamanan. Penelitian ini menawarkan perspektif baru dengan mengkaji pengalaman wanita di sektor transportasi daring di daerah pedesaan yang kurang dieksplor oleh studi sebelumnya. Hasil ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk menciptakan peluang kerja inklusif yang mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi wanita di daerah pinggiran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the absorption words in Arabic-Malay in the book of “Sifat Dua Puluh” through a semantic approach. The research method used is qualitative research with an exploratory descriptive model with the object of research, namely Arabic-Malay writing in the book of “Sifat Dua Puluh” by Sayyid Uthman al-Batawiy. The data was obtained from the exploration of the book and other related literature sources, then the data was analyzed using a semantic approach by classifying the types of words absorbed by the types of adoption, adaptation, translation and creation. This research found that in the book of “Sifat Dua Puluh” there are words of absorption of the types of adoption, adaptation, translation and creation. The word absorption of the adoption type has the same form of writing and pronunciation in Arabic-Malay writing. The type of adaptation has a different form of writing and pronunciation in Arabic-Malay writing. This is given that not all Arabic letters have vowels. Then the word absorption of the translation type has a conceptual unity between Arabic and Arabic-Malay. Furthermore, the type of creation has a different form of pronunciation after being lent to the Arabic-Malay script and does not have a unity of concept that the researcher divides into two forms, namely the type of ordinary word creation and the type of word creation that resembles Arabic words/sentences.

Abstract

This study contributes significantly to the development of Sharaf learning by introducing an innovative approach using the Ristek Muslim digital dictionary. The guidelines developed in this research provide Arabic language students with an accessible and effective tool to improve their understanding of Sharaf, a crucial component of Arabic grammar. This study enhances student engagement and learning outcomes by integrating digital resources into Sharaf's instruction. The positive feedback from students, material experts, and media experts highlights the value of these guidelines in improving both the content and delivery of Sharaf lessons. Furthermore, the T-test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the digital dictionary guidelines in fostering a more profound comprehension of Sharaf concepts. This contribution supports the modernization of Arabic language teaching, offering a more interactive and efficient way for students to master the intricacies of Sharaf. The findings suggest that integrating digital tools in Arabic language learning, particularly in the study of Sharaf, can contribute to better learning outcomes. Additionally, based on the Borg and Gall model, the development process successfully addressed potential challenges and refined the product through multiple stages of testing and validation. Overall, this study demonstrates that the Ristek Muslim digital dictionary guidelines are a valuable resource for improving Sharaf learning and can be a model for integrating digital technology into Arabic language education

Abstract

Mengingat pentingnya model pembelajaran, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis beberapa model pembelajaran yang kerap digunakan dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar KMB di sekolah dan madrasah. Artikel ini memberikan rekomendasi pada satuan pendidikan (SD/MI, SMP/MTs, SMA/MA, sederajat). Penelitian ini adalah jenis kepustakaan (library research), dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari tiga sumber “Google Scholar”, “ScienceDirect”, dan “DOAJ”. Diskusi dalam artikel ini membahas tren model pembelajaran dalam penerapan KMB, yang mencakup lima model pembelajaran utama, yaitu: (1) model “inquiry learning” menekankan proses eksplorasi dan investigasi mandiri oleh siswa, memungkinkan mereka mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. (2) model “problem-based learning” (PBL) menantang siswa untuk menyelesaikan masalah nyata, memfasilitasi pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. (3) model “project-based learning” (PjBL) melibatkan siswa dalam proyek jangka panjang yang menghubungkan teori dan praktik, meningkatkan keterampilan kolaboratif dan kreatif. (4) model “blended learning” menggabungkan pembelajaran tatap muka dan daring, memberikan fleksibilitas dalam proses belajar-mengajar serta memudahkan akses terhadap materi pembelajaran. (5) model “flipped classroom” membalik pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional dengan mengharuskan siswa mempelajari materi di rumah dan melakukan kegiatan praktik serta diskusi di kelas. Dengan demikia, kelima model pembelajaran ini berperan penting dalam mendukung prinsip-prinsip KMB, seperti penguatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, peningkatan kreativitas, serta kemandirian belajar. Sehingga model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru terbukti memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan global dan mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21.
