Abstract

This study aims to examine the ethics of whip law journalism in serambinews.com on November to December 2018. It uses the analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic text with a qualitative approach. In this study, the researcher took three photos as objects to be studied. The data collection techniques used in this study are text observation method and  documentation method. Based on the review of the Sign, Object and Interpretation of those three photos, it shows that thosephotos are not in accordance with the ethics of photojournalism. Some things are not in accordance with the ethics of photojournalism. It still clearly seeing the face of the perpetrators who were sentenced to caning without censorship which should be disguised or not shown clearly, either by blurring or taking photos from an angle that does not show the face of the perpetrator. Keywords: Ethics, Photojournalism, Whip Law, Serambinews.com.

Abstract

AbstractPemerintah dan DPRD Aceh tengah menyusun Qanun Hukum Keluarga yang nantinya akan disahkan dan berlaku di Aceh. Salah satu isi bab dalam Qanun tersebut adalah melegalkan poligami. Wacana tersebut menarik perhatian khalayak ramai setelah Harian Serambi Indonesia mempublikasikannya sebagai berita headline pada edisi 6 Juli 2019. Suara perempuan memang sangat penting dalam menyikapi Qanun ini. Mengingat perencangan qanun tersebut berlandaskan atas memberikan perlindungan untuk perempuan. Selain itu atas nama keadilan, suara perempuan Aceh seharusnya didengar dengan seksama. Hal yang ditakutkan adalah sistem partiarki yang masih berlaku di negara ini. Sistem patriarki yang mendominasi kebudayaan mendorong terbentuknya kesenjangan dan ketidakadilan gender dimana memposisikan perempuan sebagai subordinat sedangkan posisi laki-laki yang memegang kontrol yang lebih besar. Hal ini yang menjadikan suara perempuan lemah dalam masyarakat dan keluarganya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai persepsi perempuan mengenai berita wacana pelegalan poligami di Aceh dengan menggunakan pendekatan konsep Persepsi dan Teori Spiral of Silence. Penelitian ini nantinya akan menggunakan metode campuran dengan menyebar kuisioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberagaman persepsi dari kalangan perempuan dalam menanggapi wacana pelegalan poligami.

Abstract

The phenomenon of social media blogging Steemit over the last two years become a new trend in Indonesian society, especially in Aceh. Social media Steemit offers the latest system different from other social media with an emphasis on a blockchain system that rewards steem of dollars to its users. The outbreak of the use of Steemit media has led to the creation of communities within the community, known as the Indonesian Steemit Community (KSI), and one of them is in West Aceh called KSI Barsela. Steemit users who are members of this community then known as Steemian. Through this community of Steemian interaction to facilitate the achievement of reward in Steemit. In this case, communication becomes the main thing required in social interaction, one of which is role communication. The purpose of this study is to see how the role of communication performed by Steemian Barsela in the community. With the theory approach used is Role Theory to see three aspects: role expectation, role demands, and role skills. While the type of research is qualitative descriptive, with the method of observation and interview. The results of research on three aspects of the role illustrate that every Steemian in the community should promote effective forms of group communication in behaving and interacting with other Steemians.

Abstract

Agro sinergi nusantara in disseminating the collective labor agreement (PKB) by the directors of PT. Agro sinergi nusantara (PT. ASN) by carrying out aspects of communication planning including introduction of the company's internal and external companies, preparation of extension materials, determining methods, and selecting communication media in order to implement activities through the socialization of collective labor agreements using well-targeted communication strategies. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive technique. With data collection through observation, interviews and written documentation as primary data, secondary data. Then the analytical technique used in this study is qualitative data analysis using the miles and huberman interactive analysis model.

Abstract

Abstract*Working women who are not married above the ideal age in Indonesia have their own anxiety due to often getting stigma from society as old virgins, not selling well, choosing a lot and others. This paper will try to analyze the anxiety of working women with sociological analysis using feminism theory, the research method using descriptive qualitative methods with purposive sampling of informants selection on six working women with an age range of 30-35 years with a minimum education of S1. The results of the study show that working women who are nervous about the age of marriage come from the encouragement of the family and social environment, besides that the cultural view of the ideal marriageable age in society makes unmarried women above the ideal age as a failure.Keywords: Feminism Theory, Age of Marriage Anxiety, Working Women.

Abstract

In this contemporary era, the forms of public service in Indonesia have become increasingly practical and instant. Conditions like this to illustrate how the phenomenon of McDonaldization began to plague into public service systems, one of which is with the public service system e-Filing DJP Online. E-Filing DJP Online is an application of public services based on information and communication technology implemented by the state tax execution agency to provide easy access to services for the Taxpayers in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to see how the principles of McDonaldization are applied in the public service system of tax agencies through the DGT Online e-Filing system. The theory approach used is McDonaldization Theory by George Ritzer, and the concept of Public Service. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with literature review approach. The results show that the DGT Online e-Filing system applies the principles of McDonaldization in the form of its services, namely: efficiency, quantified and qualified services, predictability, control, and ultimately the rationale for irrationality of service.Keywords: McDonaldization, Public Service, Tax, e-Filing

Abstract

Mengatasi masalah ketahanan pangan dan pertanian yang terjadi, perlu perhatian khusus pada sector pertanian, produksi tanaman pangan padi menjadi faktor utama dalam meningkatkan swasebada pangan yang digalakkan oleh pemerintah dalam ketahanan pangan. Kabupaten Nagan Raya termasuk kedalam kabupaten penghasil tanaman pangan (padi) dalam kegiatan pertanian, pemberdayaan inovasi baru meliputi benih unggul baru dan kelompok tani masih pada tahap pemula. Dalam mencapai visi misi Kabupaten Nagan Raya menjadikan pertanian yang mandiri dengan memperoleh varietas bibit unggul tanaman pangan perlu adanya strategi komunikasi Penggunaan inovasi varietas unggul atau bermutu bisa mengurangi risiko kegagalan budidaya padi serta meningkatkan produksi padi. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Strategi Komunikasi Penyuluhan Dinas Pertanian Inovasi Bibit Unggul Baru Tanaman Pangan padi Kepada Kelompok Tani Kabupaten Nagan Raya, dengan menekankan unsur strategi komunikasi mengenal khalayak, menyusun pesan, memilih metode dan penggunaan media komunikasi dalam penyuluhan. Melalui  pendekatan  Kualitatif  dengan  penyajian  data  secara Deskriptif, pengumpulan sumber data  dilakukan  secara  Field  Work  Reasearch, dengan observasi,  wawancara secara mendalam serta dokumentasi. strategi komunikasi yang pada hakekatnya merupakan sebuah manajemen atau perencanaan  untuk  mencapai  suatu tujuan dalam merubah perilaku sasaran penyuluhan/komunikasi dalam mengadopsi   inovasi baru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Inovasi combine harvester merupakan teknologi pertanian yang diunggulkan kehandalannya saat musim panen. Di Kecamatan Labuhan Haji Barat Kabupaten Aceh Selatan, teknologi pertanian ini dososialisasikan oleh BPP (Badan Penyuluhan Pertanian) dan BBU (Balai Benih Utama). BPP dan BBU menjadi saluran komunikasi dalam mensosialisasikan karakteristik inovasi teknologi pertanian combine harvester. Selain itu, di masa pandemi covid 19, teknologi combine harvester menjadi salahsatu upaya dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh sosialisasi karakteristik inovasi combine harvester oleh BPP dan BBU terhadap tingkat penerimaan kelompok tani Kecamatan Labuhan Haji Barat. Pendekatan teori yang digunakan adalah teori difusi inovasi . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitain asosiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner kepada 95 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster sampling pada kelompok tani Kecamatan Labuhan Haji Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara sosialisasi karakteristik inovasi combine harvester terhadap tingkat penerimaan di Kecamatan Labuhan Haji Barat.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of news coverage on PT. Agro Sinergi Nusantara due to forest and land fires in the area of Business Use Rights (HGU) in the company covering an area of seven hectares, and this study uses the Framing Analysis method. The researcher chose two news stories from online news media: acehportal.com as local sources; and antarnews.com as a national source for analysis. This study uses the Qualitative Method of Framing Analysis by Mr.  Pan, Zhongdang and Mr.  M.Kosicki, Gerald. This finding showing that the two media focused heavily on the company and were not objective about the fire incident at PT.Agro Sinergi Nusantara without looking at the facts and realities, and did not involve sources from the company that actually occurred in the field. So that it forms a social construction that leads readers to consider the company PT.Agro Synergy Nusantara as the main object.

Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic has made some small industrial communities complain, plus there is confusing news information so that some people feel nervous in dealing with the spread of the coronavirus. The study in this research is basically field research (field research) and literary (library research), with a historical and multidisciplinary approach. Existing data, the authors analyze using a comparative method in a qualitative paradigm, through snowball sampling. Through this method, researchers hope to collect information needed by the small industrial community, so that they are motivated and enthusiastic in moving their business in the midst of the Corona pandemic. The role of the media is not only to report but also to deny hoax information and untrue information, moreover, the media has an important and strategic role in following the development of reliable information related to Covid-19 reporting, as a trusted source for the community towards the era of adaptation of new habits (new normal). ). The presence of journalists presenting news about aid programs, business opportunities, and product marketing facilities for small industry players in circulation and online is one of the breakthroughs that can foster new optimism and hope (expectations) among small industry players in the midst of their business slump due to the pandemic. corona. The final goal of this study, the author tries to get a concrete picture of the roles and responsibilities of journalists in building the optimism of the small industrial community during the corona pandemic.
