Abstract

Technological developments can be used as a medium for disseminating information in order to market products and services. One of them is Amami event organizer, which is a company engaged in services for exhibition events. The company, which is located in the city of Cirebon, has utilized internet services as part of a campaign in their business marketing strategy. The use of the internet network itself cannot be separated from the existence of a problem, and one of them is regarding the quality of the existing network at the Amami event organizer. where there is no bandwidth management that regulates the distribution of bandwidth evenly which includes downloads and uploads, bandwidth management itself is a method for managing bandwidth limits given to a data traffic. Not only the problem of bandwidth management, another problem that the management of Amami event organizers complains about is the lack of control of internet network users in accessing certain websites so that it can interfere with work productivity and smooth use of the internet network. The solution to the problem that is carried out to overcome the problem of bandwidth management is the hotspot user method. Which users will be classified into several groups with the aim of managing bandwidth based on user logins. For user control problems, a filtering address list is used through the firewall features in Mikrotik to filter out which sites cannot be accessed by the user. This study analyzes the quality of internet network services after using the hotspot user method and using the filtering address list method. To measure the quality of the internet network, measurements are used using Quality of Service (QoS) such as throughput, jitter, packet loss, and delay. To measure QoS, a wireshark tool is needed which the tool can capture traffic. From the optimization results obtained quite good results, namely the measurement results can be seen from testing through stable QoS throughput > 1000 kbps, packet loss to 0% maximum at 2%, delay < 300 ms, and the highest Jitter at 2297 ms while the lowest at 0.001 Ms. Therefore, the thing that needs to be done by the Amami event organizer is to do bandwidth management to regulate the distribution of bandwidth for each user. As well as restricting user site access to a certain website

Abstract

Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) is a subfield of affective computing that focuses on identifying human emotions through voice signals. Accurate emotion classification is essential for developing intelligent systems capable of interacting naturally with users. However, challenges such as background noise, overlapping emotional features, and speaker variability often reduce model performance. This study aims to develop a lightweight hybrid SER model by combining Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) as feature representations with three machine learning algorithms: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree (DT), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). The methodology involves audio data preprocessing, MFCC-based feature extraction, and classification using the selected algorithms. The RAVDESS dataset, consisting of 1,440 English-language audio samples across four emotions (happy, angry, sad, neutral), was used with an 80/20 train-test split to ensure class balance.. Experimental results show that the KNN model achieved the highest performance, with an accuracy of 78.26%, precision of 85.09%, recall of 78.26%, and F1-score of 77.06%. The Decision Tree model produced comparable results, while the SVM model performed poorly across all metrics. These findings demonstrate that the proposed hybrid approach is effective for recognizing emotions in speech and offers a computationally efficient alternative to deep learning models. The integration of MFCC features with multiple machine learning classifiers provides a robust framework for real-time emotion recognition applications, especially in environments with limited computing resources.

Abstract

Rice is a strategic food crop whose productivity is often threatened by leaf diseases and pests. This study aims to develop an Enhanced U-Net CNN model for multi-class segmentation and classification of rice leaf conditions from field images to support early detection and plant health management. The methodology includes direct field image acquisition of rice leaves, preprocessing for image quality enhancement, expert data labeling, segmentation using a U-Net architecture, and classification using CNN. The dataset was divided into training and testing data with balanced distribution across four classes: Healthy, BrownSpot, Hispa, and LeafBlast. Evaluation results show that the model can identify rice leaf conditions with high accuracy, although signs of overfitting were observed from the performance gap between training and validation data. The implementation of this model is expected to accelerate automatic disease detection in the field, reduce reliance on manual inspection, and support precision agriculture. This study achieved a testing accuracy of 76.36% with a macro-average F1-score of 0.34. While the results indicate limitations in generalization, the proposed Enhanced U-Net CNN demonstrates the feasibility of combining segmentation and classification in field conditions. This research contributes to agricultural informatics by supporting scalable deployment in precision agriculture systems, reducing reliance on manual inspection, and providing a foundation for further optimization studies.

Abstract

This research presents the development of a real-time attendance system utilizing facial recognition, which incorporates three main components: the MobileNet Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for classification, Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Networks (MTCNN) for face detection, and Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) for image preprocessing. The model was trained on a curated subset of the Labeled Faces in the Wild (LFW) dataset, containing 20 categories with 50 images each, and evaluated using a locally captured dataset. Training was conducted on Google Colab using a pre-trained MobileNet model that was fine-tuned with 800 images, while 200 images were used for validation. System performance was assessed through several metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and a confusion matrix. The model achieved a validation accuracy of 86% and an average F1-score of 0.85, reflecting high classification accuracy. To enhance usability, the system was implemented within a Python-based graphical user interface (GUI), which automates attendance tracking and records data directly into Excel spreadsheets. This study highlights the potential of integrating lightweight CNN architectures with effective preprocessing techniques and real-time GUI applications to create a reliable, efficient, and practical biometric attendance system
