Abstract

Changes in the Minister of Education have directly led to shifts in the national curriculum. The implementation of the new curriculum began gradually in 2023, requiring teachers to be ready to adapt. However, certain conditions indicate that this readiness is not yet fully evident. This study aims to examine the effect of principal leadership agility, teacher competence, and work environment on readiness for change, mediated by employee engagement at Don Bosco School, Panca Dharma Foundation, Jakarta. A quantitative associative method was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 181 teachers. Hypothesis testing was conducted using SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square) 3.0, with hypothesis acceptance based on t-statistics compared to the t-table value of 1.645 at a 0.05 significance level (one-tailed). Findings reveal that principal leadership agility, teacher competence, and work environment influence readiness for change by 60.10%, while 39.9% is influenced by other variables. These factors also affect employee engagement by 71.40%, with 28.6% attributed to other factors. Recommendations include encouraging principals to strengthen leadership skills and engage staff in strategic decision-making. School management is advised to maintain a supportive work environment to enhance teacher involvement and adaptability.

Abstract

Improving the quality of public vocational high schools (SMK Negeri) is strongly influenced by teacher performance. Two factors frequently associated with such performance are the principal’s leadership style and teachers’ work motivation. This study examines the effects of principals’ leadership style and teachers’ work motivation on teacher performance in public vocational high schools in Tana Toraja Regency. Employing a quantitative approach, the research used a survey design with 106 respondents drawn from four public vocational high schools in Tana Toraja Regency. The questionnaire instrument used a Likert scale and was subjected to validity and reliability testing. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the model: Y = –2.450 + 0.152X₁ + 0.328X₂ + ϵ.The results indicate that both leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on teacher performance, with work motivation exerting a stronger influence than leadership style. Partially, leadership style significantly predicts performance (t = 6.665; p < 0.001), and work motivation also significantly predicts performance (t = 12.367; p < 0.001). Correlation analysis shows positive relationships between leadership style and performance (r = 0.652), leadership style and motivation (r = 0.453), and motivation and performance (r = 0.818).These findings underscore the importance of democratic leadership practices and motivation enhancing policies such as recognition, professional development, and a supportive work environment to sustain consistent teaching performance in vocational education.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu asset paling berharga yang dimiliki oleh suatu organisasi, karena manusialah yang merupakan satu-satunya sumber daya yang dapat menggerakkan sumber daya lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan lingkungan kerja, work life balance terhadap komitmen organisasional karyawan dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening BPJS Kesehatan Wilayah Kalimantan Tengah. Teknik sampling adalah sampel jenuh atau nonprobability sampling yaitu berjumlah 100 karyawan. Instrumen penelitian adalah kusioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya dan data diuji dengan analisis jalur menggunakan aplikasi SMART PLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian  menunjukan bahwa : terdapat hubungan langsung lingkungan kerja dengan motivasi kerja karyawan. Terdapat hubungan tidak langsung lingkungan kerja dengan komitmen organisasional melalui motivasi kerja karyawan. Terdapat hubungan langsung work life balance dengan motivasi kerja karyawan. Terdapat hubungan tidak langsung work life balance dengan komitmen organisasional melalui motivasi kerja karyawan. Terdapat hubungan langsung lingkungan kerja dengan komitmen organisasional karyawan. Terdapat hubungan langsung work life balance dengan komitmen organisasional karyawan. Terdapat hubungan langsung motivasi kerja dengan komitmen organisasional karyawan.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan komponen penting dalam suatu organisasi karena berperan dalam mengelola berbagai aktivitas untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang efektif menjadi kunci dalam menjaga keberlangsungan dan daya saing organisasi. Namun, dalam praktiknya, perusahaan yang telah mapan sekalipun tetap menghadapi berbagai tantangan terkait sikap dan perilaku karyawan. Salah satu bentuk perilaku tersebut adalah turnover intention, yaitu keinginan karyawan untuk meninggalkan organisasi yang dapat berujung pada terjadinya turnover aktual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, rotasi kerja, dan pengembangan karir terhadap turnover intention pada PT Bank XYZ, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. PT Bank XYZ merupakan perusahaan perbankan yang berdiri pada tahun 2021 sebagai hasil merger tiga bank milik negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 1.652 karyawan, dengan sampel sebanyak 322 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi empiris bagi manajemen dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kepuasan kerja, menurunkan turnover intention, serta meningkatkan stabilitas dan kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan.
