Abstract

Guru memegang peranan penting dalam peradaban manusia, karena ia memiliki tugas mulia dalam membentuk insan cendekia. guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dalam mengajar semata, namun juga perlu melaksanakan publikasi karya ilmiah ataupun gagasan inovatif agar dapat menunjang kompetensi professional yang dimiliki. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh di lapangan para mitra pengabdian/guru telah mampu melaksanakan kegiatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dalam upaya memperbaiki dan mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran di kelas, namun sayangnya hasil penelitian tersebut hanya ditulis dalam bentuk laporan dan belum disusun dalam artikel ilmiah sehingga tidak terpublikasi dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan publikasi artikel di jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi kepada mitra yang terdiri dari 27 guru SMA di Kabupaten Muara Enim Sumatera Selatan dan 8 diantaranya merupakan calon mahasiswa PPG (Pendidikan Profesi Guru) Dalam Jabatan. Metode pengabdian ini diawali dengan 1) kegiatan pra pelatihan untuk mendesain rencana kegiatan pelatihan; 2) kegiatan pelatihan, meliputi pengenalan situs yang terkait dengan publikasi ilmiah terakreditas, pelatihan tips dan trik memilih jurnal ilmiah dan demonstrasi submit artikel ilmiah di jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi; 3) kegiatan evaluasi untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan mitra dalam teknik publikasi. Berdasarkan kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman mitra dalam teknik publikasi ilmiah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai pretest (47,41) dan posttest (79,26) yang telah diberikan, yakni sebesar 31,85. Selain itu, mitra pengabdian mengakui bahwa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini mereka mampu untuk memilih jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi yang tepat serta mampu mensubmit artikel pada jurnal tersebut. Dengan peningkatan pemahaman teknik publikasi ini diharapkan hasil publikasi yang telah dilakukan dapat berkontribusi dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, menjadi sumber rujukan dan bermanfaat dalam peningkatan kompetensi dan karir guru.

Abstract

This study aims to develop project-based classroom learning with the Project Based Learning ((PjBL) learning model to increase students' creativity in making digital flyer designs using the Canva application. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population of this study was all students of class XI BDP at SMK Negeri 1 Pemulutan. The sample in this study was selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interview methods, and observations. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative data analysis. researcher An shows that the Project based Learning learning model has an influence in increasing students' creativity in designing digital flyers using the Canva application. Making this digital flyer is one of the concrete evidences that students can create promotional media creatively according to the demands of the business world/industrial world, train students' creativity, and improve students' skills in designing flyers into a business opportunity.

Abstract

To discuss conceptual economic materials, active learning techniques are very well used. How, by combining three methods of teaching (triple methods), namely; Simulation, discussion, and cooperative learning.This technique can also improve the motivation and outcome of economic learning, because learners play a direct role in learning and training their skills to solve economic problems. The research uses the one group pretest-posttest design. Data obtained through pretests and posttest and a questionnaire against 33 respondents in the class XI.2 Social Science, High School. Hypothesized test with the parametric test-T sample statically correlates. Analysis results showed significant increases in learning outcomes after active learning. Students' understanding of the command economic system, the concept of the market, and the concept of opportunity cost with good value. Understanding the main problems of economic sciences, concepts and basic principles of productive efficiency, concepts and principles of the market economic system, and the concept of cost of opportunities for the most skilled workforce. The learners ' ability to analyse the fundamental economic objectives of the Community and its relationship with the economy policy is less value. The rate of motivation to study economics increased by 1.57%, but there was no significant increase in motivation after they had participated in active learning

Abstract

The results of a preliminary study conducted by the PPM team with the SMPN 5 Rambang Dangku group through interviews, obtained information that the majority of teachers were not familiar with the Xmind media referred to in the learning activities, this caused the media used by the class teachers were generally only limited to power points. Community service activities carried out to the teachers of Rambang Dangku Middle School 5 aims to provide an understanding of making learning media in the form of mindmaps using Xmind application assistance in class learning. The method and form of community service activities are guidance and training, with techniques: lectures that are varied with discussion and question and answer, assignments and demonstrations. To find out the success of this coaching and training tests and observation sheets were used. Knowledge and understanding of the use of this program can facilitate teachers in delivering learning material in class so that it is more interesting this can be seen from the pre test score of 63.18 and post score of 84.76 or an increase of 33.99%. Teachers can use application-assisted mind map media as an alternative teaching material that will be used in the learning process in class, because it has various features and convenience to provide explanations related to the teaching material being discussed.

Abstract

The research problems is how the validity and effectiveness of tax accounting textbooks based on problem based learning. As for the purpose of this study is to describe the level of validity and effectiveness of tax accounting textbooks based on problem based learning. This type of research is a R&D research by Borg & Gall. The population in this study were all students of economic education in the even semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. With the research sample, namely students who took the tax accounting course at Indralaya class, totaling 56 students. The data collection techniques used were documentation, questionnaires, and tests. With a test of validity result is 3.40 from material experts categorized as very valid and 3.19 from media experts who are categorized as valid. Then from the effectiveness test, the textbook effectiveness value obtained a gain of 0.38 which is included in the moderate/effective category. Thus, the development of tax accounting textbooks based on problem based learning is valid and effective for use in lecture activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for HOTS-based assessment instruments in the social studies course. This research was conducted in a descriptive quantitative, with research samples, namely lecturers for the Social Studies subject and 56 Indralaya campus students class of 2019/2020, Economic Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University. The research data were obtained through interviews, documentation and questionnaires. From the results of the interview, it was obtained information about the items made not based on HOTS and not yet varied. Observations made on the final examination assessment instrument showed that 80% of the items were still focused on MOTS, and from the student answer sheets it could be seen that students were still answering questions from the memorization process. The results of the questionnaire obtained showed that 92.9% of students thought that in order to understand social science concepts it was necessary to make problem-solving questions that could train HOTS. So it can be concluded that lecturers and students need HOTS-based assessment instruments in the social studies course.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students needs for teaching materials used in Digital Learning lecture activities. This research is an exploratory descriptive study with the sample of research is Economics Education students at fifth semester FKIP Sriwijaya University who are in two classes namely regular classes and extension classes as many as 79 students. Research data is obtained from preliminary observations showed that in the materials of Digital Learning lectures will be more practical in creating content in Digital Learning because of the limited time that only two credits at each meeting can make it difficult for lectures to provide detailed explanations of the material to students. The results of the students questionnaire analysis show that students need more digital type teaching materials in the from modules in order to be supportive in student lecture activities.
