Abstract

The number of MSME in Indonesia is increasing in every year. This favorable growth is unfortunately followed by increments in the amount of waste due to the enterprises’ business activities. More waste negatively affects both the environment and company performance. Therefore, Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is necessary for sustainable firm performance. The objective of this research is to identify the effect of GSCM on the performance of micro, small, and medium-sized snack production enterprises. Using probability method and simple random sampling technique, eighty enterprises in the said sector were involved. The research instruments have been assessed using validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test, while the hypotheses were tested using F-test ad t-test. All of the assessments were performed in SPSS 27. This study finds (1) that eco-design significantly influences firm performance, (2) that green manufacturing significantly affects firm performance, and (3) that green purchasing also has significant impacts on firm performance.   Abstrak Industri UMKM di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan jumlah yang signifikan tiap tahun. Masalah yang terjadi dari peningkatan jumlah UMKM akan meningkatkan jumlah limbah yang dihasilkan dalam aktivitas bisnis UMKM. Semakin banyaknya limbah yang dihasilkan tentunya memengaruhi lingkungan sekitar yang berdampak terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Sehingga dibutuhkan penerapan GSCM (green supply chain management) agar kinerja perusahaan tetap terjaga. Beberapa peneliti percaya dengan penerapan GSCM akan memengaruhi kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh GSCM terhadap kinerja perusahaan pada UMKM kuliner bidang makanan ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Ukuran sampel yang digunakan adalah sebesar 80 responden UMKM kuliner bidang makanan ringan di Malang Raya. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS 27. Alat yang digunakan untuk menguji instrumen penelitian ini berupa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik. Selanjutnya uji hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis menunjukkan hasil bahwa (1) eco design memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, (2) green manufacturing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, dan (3) green purchasing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

Abstract

The drastic climate changes and global warming have brought devastating effects to the environment, having a major impact on MSMEs as the backbone of Indonesian economy. MSMEs in fact have a great potential of competing in both domestic and global markets due to their vast environment, so MSMEs need to be prepared to innovate. The objective of this quantitative research is to identify the effects of green innovation readiness and sustainable business model innovation on the competitive advantages of food-crop MSMEs in East Java. Using non-probability method and purposive technique, 178 respondents. The research data was analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS version 24.0. The results of the analysis indicate (1) that green innovation readiness influences sustainable business model innovation, (2) that sustainable business model innovation influences competitive advantage, and (3) that green innovation readiness has an indirect effect on competitive advantage as it is mediated by sustainable business model innovation. The findings suggest that food-crop MSMEs geared with green innovation readiness are able to create competitive advantages by establishing sustainable business model innovation.   Abstrak Perubahan iklim secara drastis dan pemanasan global memicu dampak mengerikan bagi lingkungan, berpengaruh besar terhadap UMKM sebagai tulang punggung Indonesia. Peran besar yang sangat krusial sebagai penopang perekonomian memiliki lingkungan yang sangat besar potensinya dalam menunjang persaingan di pasar domestik mau pun global, sehingga dibutuhkan persiapan UMKM dalam berinovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kesiapan inovasi hijau dan inovasi model bisnis berkelanjutan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif pada UMKM pertanian tanaman pangan di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling melalui metode purposive sampling pada 178 responden. Data yang diperoleh diolah melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan program AMOS versi 24.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditunjukkan bahwa, (1) kesiapan inovasi hijau berpengaruh terhadap variabel inovasi model bisnis berkelanjutan; (2) inovasi model bisnis berkelanjutan berpengaruh terhadap variabel keunggulan kompetitif; serta (3) kesiapan inovasi hijau memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap keunggulan kompetitif, yakni dengan mediasi inovasi model bisnis berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM pertanian tanaman pangan yang memiliki kesiapan inovasi hijau akan mampu mewujudkan keunggulan kompetitif dengan membentuk inovasi model bisnis berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to find out the influence of functional strategy (including, marketing, operational financial, and human resources) towards the competition between foods and beverage Middle and Micro Enterprises. The result showed that marketing, operational, financial, and human resources are simultaneous influencing the competition between foods and beverage Middle and Micro Enterprises. While marketing variable did not influence partially, the human resources variable was the most dominant influence. Foods and beverage Middle and Micro Enterprises used the strategies which are focusing on cost. That is why these Middle and Micro Enterprises were more oriented on the low price and the targeted market is society with low income.

Abstract

This research aimed to test and analyze the effects of job satisfaction to intention to leave through the mediation of organizational commitment and moderation of alternative job opportunities. The researchers exerted a quantitative method in this research. The research data was collected through a questionnaire, while the data sampling was the technique of saturated sampling. The sample in this research was taken from all employees in PT. Supraharmonia Consultindo with a minimum of a work period of a year and a total of 106 respondents. The data analysis in this research was the method of Partial Least Square (PLS) and the 3.0 SmartPLS program. The result showed that job satisfaction did not affect significantly to the intention to leave. Meanwhile, the job satisfaction affected significantly to the organizational commitment and the organizational commitment affected significantly to the intention to leave. Moreover, the organizational commitment was able to mediate the effects of job satisfaction and intention to leave. Whilst, the alternative job opportunities did not moderate the effect of job satisfaction and intention to leave.Next research in diverse places can give complexity results and add new variables like job stress and leadership.

Abstract

Purpose – The issues faced by the Petunia Project include hindered business development due to market competition, internal management issues, and sales instability. Against this background, the research is conducted to formulate business strategies by identifying internal and external factors of the Petunia Project. This study aims to analyze the formulation of business strategies for the Petunia Project.  Design/methodology/approach – The research method employed is qualitative descriptive. The analytical tools used in this study include IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, SWOT Matrix, IE Matrix, and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix).       Findings – The results of this study indicate that the priority strategy that can be applied by the Petunia Project to develop its business is to utilize promotional service features on e-commerce platforms such as Live, Event Sale, Vouchers, and Free Shipping to attract potential customers. Originality/value – This study provides originality by integrating IFE, EFE, SWOT, IE Matrix, and QSPM in a single analytical framework to generate data-driven strategic priorities for a medium-scale fashion MSME, an approach that remains limited in existing literature. The research adds value by offering a comprehensive and quantifiable evaluation of strategic alternatives specifically tailored to the competitive digital marketplace in which local fashion brands operate. Furthermore, the findings contribute practical insights for MSMEs in the creative economy sector seeking to strengthen business sustainability through evidence-based strategy formulation.

Abstract

The MSME industry is one of the most important sectors in the Indonesian economy, as it acts as the main driver of economic activity in various fields. Several researchers have revealed that competitive advantage can be influenced by innovation and market orientation. This study aims to determine how innovation and market orientation affect competitive advantage in the owners of culinary MSMEs in the field of snacks and cakes in Malang City. This study uses a sampling technique, namely non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The sample size used was 100 respondents of culinary MSMEs in the field of snacks and cakes in Malang City. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 27 programme. The tools used to test this research instrument are validity test, reliability test and classical assumption test. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was carried out using the F test and t test. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that (1) innovation has a significant effect on competitive advantage, (2) market orientation has a significant effect on competitive advantage.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin kompetitif, pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Malang, menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan daya saing bisnis mereka. Di antara tantangan tersebut, keterbatasan dalam pemahaman dan penerapan digital marketing menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat utama dalam mendorong pertumbuhan dan ekspansi bisnis. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut melalui pelatihan yang komprehensif, mencakup strategi digital marketing dan analisis media sosial, yang dirancang khusus untuk pelaku UMKM di bidang olahan makanan kerupuk ringan. Dengan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai platform pemasaran yang efektif, UMKM dapat meningkatkan eksposur produk mereka secara signifikan dan menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Urgensi pelatihan ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan mendesak untuk membekali pelaku UMKM dengan keterampilan digital yang relevan, guna memperkuat posisi mereka di pasar dan memastikan keberlanjutan bisnis di tengah persaingan global. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang nyata dalam kapasitas digital peserta, yang berimplikasi pada penguatan strategi bisnis mereka dan peningkatan kinerja usaha.

Abstract

This research discusses crucial aspects of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, focusing on comprehensive performance evaluation that includes financial and non-financial dimensions. Nevertheless, challenges such as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, limited entrepreneurial orientation, inadequate knowledge management, and difficulties adapting to rapid environmental changes have increased the rate of MSME closures in Indonesia. This study, involving 125 MSMEs in the Malang Raya region, examines the mediating role of knowledge management and dynamic capabilities in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and company performance. The results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation positively impacts company performance, knowledge management, and dynamic capabilities. However, knowledge management and dynamic capabilities do not significantly influence company performance, suggesting that they do not mediate between entrepreneurial orientation and company performance. Practically, these findings have significant implications for practitioners and policymakers seeking to enhance the performance of MSMEs in Indonesia. Recognizing the crucial role of entrepreneurial orientation in shaping positive company performance implies that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset is a key strategy. Nevertheless, considering the insignificant impact of knowledge management and dynamic capabilities on company performance, attention should be redirected towards alternative factors or strategies to address the unique challenges faced by Indonesian MSMEs. Policymakers can use these insights to design interventions targeting critical areas to create a conducive business environment for MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian 1) Menganalisis pengaruh Lokasi keberadaan Supermarket terhadap Omzet penjualan di pasar tradisional. 2) Menganalisis pengaruh Harga produk di Supermarket terhadap Omzet penjualan di pasar tradisional. 3) Untuk mengetahui variabel apa yang paling berpengaruh terhadap Omzet penjualan di pasar tradisional. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pedagang pasar tradisional dan pasar modern yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam membuat kebijakan untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasarannya, serta bagi Pemerintah Kota juga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam membuat kebijakan agar dapat menjaga kelangsungan hidup dua jenis pasar yang berbeda ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian survai. Penelitian Survai adalah sebagai penyelidikan yang diadakan untuk memperoleh fakta-fakta dari gejala-gejala yang ada dan mencari keterangan-keterangan secara faktual, baik tentang institusi sosial, ekonomi, atau politik dari suatu kelompok ataupun suatu daerah, dengan mengambil lokasi . Penelitian ini berlokasi pada enam pasar tradisional yang berada di sekitar Giant Supermarket kawi kota Malang yaitu, pasar Oro-oro Dowo, pasar Bareng, pasar Mergan, pasar Besar, pasar Kasin, pasar Klojen di Kota Malang. Alat analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil uji secara simultan dengan menggunakan uji F dapat diketahui bahwa variabel lokasi supermarket, harga jual barang, dan promosi berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap omzet pedagang di pasar tradisional. Hasil ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai F hitung> F tabel (19.899 > 2,9752). Hasil uji secara parsial dengan menggunakan uji t dapat diketahui bahwa variabel Lokasi supermarket, dan Harga jual barang tidak berpengaruh secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap omzet pedagang di pasar tradisional, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung < t table. variabel promosi secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap omzet pedagang di pasar tradisional, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung > t table.     Kata Kunci: Lokasi Supermarket, Harga Jual Barang, Promosi, dan Omset Pedagang Pasar Tradisional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of flexible working arrangements and work environment on job satisfaction, mediated by employees' work-life balance at Government Service Division of PT Telkom Indonesia. The objective of this research is to identify the relationship between flexible working arrangements and work environment on job satisfaction, mediated by work-life balance, in the context of policy changes in the Government Service Division. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 102 employees from the Government Service Division of PT Telkom Indonesia. The research data was collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between flexible working arrangements and work environment on job satisfaction. The mediating variable of work-life balance has a significant effect on the relationship between work environment and job satisfaction, while the work-life balance mediating variable does not have a significant effect on the relationship between flexible working arrangements and job satisfaction. The company should consider clearer communication regarding policy changes and provide solutions that support employees' work-life balance.
