Abstract

Kemandirian dan motivasi belajar siswa melalui google classroom menjadi penting dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak google classroom terhadap kemandirian dan motivasi belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 52 siswa dengan sampel penelitian 52 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik total sempling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 30 pernyataan dengan skala likert dan wawancara terhadap siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan dengan deskriptif perentase yang mengacu pada skala likert 1-4 maka diperoleh rata-rata kemandirian belajar 2,19 dan rerata motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh 2,46. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengunaan google classroom dalam pembelajaran pada masa pendemi covid 19 memberikan dampak yang sedang terhadap kemandirian dan berdampak kuat terhadap motivasi. Penggunaan google classroom pada masa pandemi covid-19 perlu ditingkatkan kualitas penggunannya dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran mengunakan media alat peraga torso untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan di kelas XI. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI SMAN 1 Sungai Mandau Siak Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 pada semester genap bulan Januari 2022. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment, dengan menggunakan desain the matching only pretest posttest control design sample penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing pada kelas eksperimen 31 dan kontrol 27 yang diambil dengan teknik Total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest, posttest dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data didalam penelitian ini berupa t-test. Rerata N-Gain pada kelas kontrol 0.25 (rendah), sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen 0.56 (sedang). Hasil uji-t N-Gain didapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan ekspermen. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran mengunakan alat peraga torso pada materi sistem pernapasa sangat efektif dilakukan pada kelas XI SMAN 1 Sungai Mandau Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022

Abstract

Limitations of operational funds that are often experienced by PAUD resulted in insufficient availability of game equipment to be equivalent to the number of students. After direct interviews, the facts were collected based on information from the managers of both PAUD and field observations including: Playground for children, Educational Game Tools (APE) is not sufficient and meet the needs of every child so that the competition between children often occurs for can play available APE. Lack of APE tried to be overcome by making their own but educators do not have the expertise and experience sufficient to utilize the materials from nature as a source of raw materials making APE useful as a medium of learning for children. This devotional activity aims to develop the competence of PAUD educators in the process of making educational game tools that use raw materials from the potential of natural resources available around PAUD institutions. This activity is held for one day in PAUD Berkah cheerful Tenayan Raya with the number of participants as many as 20 PAUD teachers in Tenayan Raya District. Based on the results of data analysis obtained can be concluded that the knowledge and skills of teachers in making educational game equipment after the socialization has increased. This is reflected in the increased percentage of teachers' knowledge and skills in making educative game tools from natural raw materials.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada guru untuk dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengimplementasikan 1) Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sekolah menuju Adiwiyata, melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, 2) Memberikan pemahaman cara penilaian sekolah Adiwiyata, 3) Pendampingan selama proses persiapan menuju Adiwiyata di MTs Ummi Fatima Rumbai Pekanbaru. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan menggunakan kegiatan workshop dengan ceramah dan pendampingan simulasi melalui video dan demonstrasi. Subjek dalam kegiatan ini adalah semua guru dan kepala sekolah MTs Ummi Fatima Rumbai Pekanbaru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup. Data dianalisis dengan skala likert. Dari hasil pelatihan yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi simulasi model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui media inovatif berbahan 3 R Guru MTS Ummi Fatima dapat meningkatkan dan menambah informasi pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada guru tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui media inovatif berbahan 3 R, , hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai angket pretest dan Postest mengalami peningkatan serta antusias peserta dalam pelatihan memperlihatkan bahwa pengabdian telah berhasil.

Abstract

Alcohol is widely used as an antiseptic / disinfectant for clean skin surface disinfection, but not for injured skin. In addition, alcohol also has properties that are irritating to the skin, it burns easily, and also increases viral infections that trigger inflammation of the digestive tract, so the idea emerged to use natural ingredients that can reduce the risk of developing digestive disorders. The methods used to achieve the goal are pretest, lecture, direct practice, extension media, and posttest. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that this service activity gives positive results. This is because this activity can help with difficulties and meet the participants' needs in maintaining health protocols by skillfully making natural hand sanitizers from Piper sp. leaves. After this service activity is complete, participants should stay active and be even more active in understanding the use of herbal hand sanitizers.

Abstract

Plants in typical food ethnobotany such as Arsik, Lappet, Itak, and Saksang are an assimilation process by the Toba Batak tribe in utilizing plants. This study reveals what types of plants, plant parts and how the processing of typical foods and their meanings are by the Toba Batak people in Pangkalan Libut Village. The sampling of the research was carried out using a Porposive Sampling technique, which involved 4 people in Pangkalan Libut Village, especially the Toba Batak Tribe. Data were collected using interview techniques and data were processed using formulas and made in the form of diagrams. The results showed that there were 23 plant species used by the Toba Batak people in Pangkalan Libut Village in making special foods, and the plant parts used were roots, stems, fruit, flowers, seeds, leaves, rhizomes, and tubers with Zingiberaceae family as the largest family. 18% used and the least used family, namely the Apiaceae family, 4%, and the plant parts used were roots, stems, fruit, flowers, seeds, leaves, rhizomes, and tubers with the meaning of expressing gratitude for each special food, namely as a thanksgiving made during the Literacy - literacy event, Wages - wages, horse - horse panaekkhon, Malua and Ulaon pasu - pasu. From the results of the study it can be found that the typical food of the Toba Batak Tribe has gone through a process of assimilation so that changes in ingredients and meanings occur, but the Toba Batak people still preserve Arsik, Lappet, Itak, and Saksang by using plants as typical food ingredients and are able to survive. to date.

Abstract

This research is research and development using a modification of the three stages of the 4D development model, namely Define, Design, and Develop. The samples in this study were 2 media experts, 2 material experts, 2 linguists, 1 biology teacher and 10 MIA class XI students from Nurul Falah High School Pekanbaru as respondents. The sampling technique is the Non-Probability sampling technique, namely by using a saturated sample. Data collection techniques used quantitative and qualitative data, namely interviews conducted with biology teachers, filling out questionnaires conducted by 2 media experts, 2 material experts, 2 linguists, 1 biology teacher, and class XI MIA students from Nurul High School Falah Pekanbaru, as well as documentation. The results showed that the average percentage of the validity of the two media experts was 95.36% (very valid), the percentage of the two material experts was 94.58% (very valid), the percentage of the two linguists was 95.33% (very valid). ), the practicality percentage of biology teachers was 88.88% (very practical), and the percentage of student response tests was 87.50% (very practical). Thus, a digital-based biology practicum guideline on animal tissue material is appropriate for class XI students to use.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of many skills that should be acquired by students in the 2013 curriculum, and it allows students to be able to think critically in learning. However, the delicacy of the learning methods or models used in biology learning was found since the teacher mostly used lecture methods and assignments. In order to overcome these problems and achieve educational goals, the role of teachers who acquire appropriate learning methods and models according to the subject they teach is very important, and the Contextual Teaching and Learning is one of many appropriate methods that can be used. Therefore, this study aims at determining the impact of the Contextual Teaching and Learning regarding to students’ critical thinking skills at Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 16 Pekanbaru. Moreover, a quantitative research was used as the method of the research. According to the data analysis, it was found that the average score of the critical thinking test in the control class was 2.33 and it was classified into moderate. In other hand, and the average score in the experimental class was 2.53 and it was categorized as high. As a result, the Contextual Teaching and Learning was able to give siginificant influence related to students critical Thinking Skills. This was occured since the method is focused on describing the competencies that teachers should achieve first at the beginning of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to highlight and evaluate the issues at an in-depth level to provide different solutions that are expected to be a reflection for the government, especially the Ministry of Education and Culture, to be able to improve the implementation and monitoring of the Kampus Mengajar Program. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, and the data were collected from a focus group discussion with students of the English Education Study Program at Universitas Lancang Kuning, then the data was analyzed descriptively. The results highlight some problems in the implementation of the Kampus Merdeka Program. These included a lack of coordination and clear communication between stakeholders, which led to confusion among students and schools, uneven targeting of schools, inadequate support for the program, and credit conversion, resulting in frustration and challenges. Addressing these issues, the study recommended increased socialization of the program, transparency in credit equivalency, and more accurate school data collection. In conclusion, this research offers several solutions that are expected to reflect the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) that the Kampus Mengajar Program faces various challenges in its implementation, which need to be addressed for the program to effectively meet its goal of improving education in the 3T areas.

Abstract

 Welding activities in shipyards pose risks of exposure to heat, radiation, metal fumes, and hazardous gases that can cause health problems. Initial observations show that most workers do not understand occupational safety and the proper use of PPE. This activity aims to improve welders' knowledge of occupational safety and health and provide PPE assistance. This outreach activity measures workers' knowledge before and after education using a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using a dependent t-test, yielding results indicating an increase in workers' knowledge after receiving OSH education, with a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05. Continuous education is necessary to enable workers to enhance their knowledge, thereby impacting safe and secure work practices at the workplace
