Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of character competencies and the intensity of virtual item purchases on the financial management of PUBG Mobile players in Indonesia. Character competencies are studied through indicators of discipline, responsibility, investment, driving factors and self-control. Meanwhile, the purchase intensity of virtual items is measured based on the frequency of purchases, the number of items purchased, the level of satisfaction, the desire to buy, and the type of items purchased, such as skins, weapons, and clothing. A descriptive-verifiable approach was used in this study, with a structured questionnaire distributed to 61 active PUBG Mobile players who had purchased virtual items. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 to evaluate the validity and reliability of the measurement model, as well as identify the relationships and significance between variables. The results showed that character competence and the intensity of purchasing virtual items significantly affected players' financial management practices. Players with a higher level of character skill tend to have good discipline and self-control, which allows them to manage the game budget more efficiently and not spend too much. In contrast, intensive purchasing behaviors are associated with increased awareness of financial limits, where players adjust their spending habits to balance in-game needs and real-life priorities. This research emphasizes how important character competencies are to encourage players to make wise financial decisions. The study also emphasizes how important it is for players to understand how their purchasing intensity is, which can help them make better financial planning

Abstract

Micro businesses included in the small and medium-sized micro enterprises (MSMEs) have a fairly important role in building the economy in Indonesia. Evidently at the time of the economic crisis hit Indonesia, the government relied heavily on the role of MSMEs to minimize the negative impact of the economic crisis. MSMEs are stand-alone productive business units, conducted by individuals or business entities in all sectors of the economy. Based on the results of research conducted on the people of Karangtanjung Village, especially msme business actors Paguyuban Macan Berdikari in getting real results that more than 80% of the village community is very dependent on the loan of emok bank (loan shark lending practices) which in this practice the interest given is so large that it chokes the people in the village. To overcome this, it is necessary to have special counseling related to the impact of business capital lending to emok banks, so that the public will be aware of how cruel the practices carried out by loan sharks in the provision of interest. A business will grow when the loan of capital to advance the business is on target. Because borrowing money to a bank is the first step of a bankruptcy. Therefore, to minimize the occurrence of unwanted things, people need to realize that borrowing capital to state-owned banks is the right thing.

Abstract

Abstract

This research discusses the electoral system as a way to regulate citizen participation in electing legislative and executive members. According to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia's (MK-RI) decision on Law No. 7/2017 on Elections made on 15 June 2023, the open proportional electoral system will still be applied in 2024. Legal experts gave their opinions on open proportional, closed proportional, and limited proportional systems during the MK's decision-making process. This research uses a normative juridical method by identifying issues related to the background of the judicial review petition, alternative electoral systems, and judges' considerations of the Constitutional Court's decision on the electoral system. It is expected that the results of this research will show that the Constitutional Court's decision on the electoral system will show the advantages and disadvantages of open and closed proportional systems, which reflect the relationship between the democratic aspirations of the Indonesian people and other democratic aspirations.

Abstract

The birth of the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) in adjudicating case Number: 90/PUU-XXI/2023 resulted in suspicion from many parties towards the President as the decider of the Constitutional Court's decision considering that the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court is the President's brother-in-law or there were indications and/or suspicions that the Constitutional Court was intervened by the Presidential institution, and culminated in the formation of the Constitutional Court Honorary Council (MKMK). The Constitutional Court Judge's decision can be categorised as a decision that has the character of a Rechtsstate (rule of law) or actually confirms the Constitutional Court's decision that has the characteristics of a Machtstate (state of power) and the impact (Social, Political and Institutional Credibility) of the Constitutional Court's Decision on the Independence and Professionalism of the Constitutional Court Judges institutionally. This research uses normative juridical methods using secondary data in the form of literature studies. The aim of this research is to analyse the decisions of Judges and drug consumers as well as the Impact (Social, Political and Institutional Credibility) of Constitutional Court Decisions on the institutional Independence and Professionalism of Constitutional Court Judges. The research results show that the Constitutional Court Decision NO. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 is not in line with the third principle of the rule of law/Rechtsstaat, but the Constitutional Court's decision can be seen as a decision that has the dimension of state power (Machtstate).
