Abstract

During this time the cooperative performance measurement is done by conventional financial terms based on financial statements, profitability, liquidity and solvency (RLS) as well as the implementation of the budget. This study aims to determine the performance and feasibility of KSP / USP- Cooperative as a recipient of a revolving fund P3KUM and want to know the impact of the implementation of the cooperative program P3KUM dealer. The aspect that is evaluated in terms of organizations and institutions that include; (1) The vision and mission, (2) Legality of business entities, (3) The cooperative structure, (4) Management organization (5) Human Resources Development (HRD), (6) Finance, (7) Infrastructures. The method used is the Cooperative Capacity Assessment (CCA). Respondents in this study is a cooperative that had received funds P3KUM, already incorporated and has implemented the Annual Member Meeting in 2010 and has a complete cooperative (management and members of the cooperative). From the results of this study concluded that of the 25 cooperative respondents, 20% co-operatives have a good performance appraisal at all and 80% are good .. The better the performance of which is owned by a cooperative, the more worthy of him as a funding channel P3KUM program. Feasibility is very important to ensure the success of the program P3KUM. However, the necessary guidance and supervision of the relevant authorities, so that the existence of the program run effectively and efficiently.Selama ini pengukuran kinerja koperasi dilakukan dengan cara konvensional yaitu dari segi keuangan berdasarkan laporan keuangan, rentabilitas, likuiditas dan solvabilitas (RLS) serta pelaksanaan anggaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dan kelayakan usaha KSP/ USP- Koperasi sebagai penerima dana bergulir P3KUM dan ingin mengetahui dampak pelaksanaan program P3KUM terhadap koperasi penyalur. Adapun aspek yang dievaluasi adalah dari sisi organisasi dan kelembagaan yang meliputi; (1) Visi dan misi, (2) Legalitas badan usaha, (3) Struktur koperasi, (4) Manajemen organisasi (5) Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), (6) Keuangan, (7) Sarana dan Prasarana. Metode yang digunakan adalah Cooperative Capacity Assessment (CCA). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah koperasi yang pernah menerima dana P3KUM, sudah berbadan hukum dan sudah melaksanakan Rapat Anggota Tahunan pada tahun 2010 serta memiliki kelengkapan koperasi (pengurus dan anggota koperasi). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 25 koperasi yang menjadi responden, 20% koperasi memiliki penilaian kinerja yang baik sekali dan 80% lainnya baik.. Semakin baik kinerja yang dimiliki oleh sebuah koperasi, maka akan semakin layak dia sebagai penyalur dana progam P3KUM. Kelayakan usaha ini sangat penting untuk menjamin keberhasilan dari program P3KUM. Meski demikian, diperlukan pembinaan dan pengawasan dari aparat terkait, supaya keberadaan program berjalan efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The regional autonomy positively impacts regional development in terms of competitiveness. Each area tries to have advantage from other areas. One of the parameters of city competitiveness is the concept of sustainable cities. This study aims to identify cities based on sustainable urban development indices in six urban agglomeration area of Semarang: Semarang city, Semarang regency, Kendal regency, Grobogan regency, Demak regency and Salatiga city. Methods of data collection with questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Respondents in this study were the general public, policy makers, and academics. The results showed, based on the sustainable urban development index of the Sustainable Urban Development Indonesia Forum, six districts in urban agglomeration area of Semarang are categorized as less sustainable in 2016. The regencies in the urban agglomeration areas of Semarang indicate the index result of 103,00 - 127,83. The average contribution of the urban leadership, the urban governance, the urbanization and population, the housing and settlements variables are high, while the disaster risk and the climate change, the waterfront areas, the mass transportation, the local economy and informal sector, the preservation of cultural Heritage, the natural heritage and the local Wisdom, the green Open Spaces, the emissions and energy variable are still low.

Abstract

The wage have impacts on poverty, living standards and the incentive to improve labor productivity (human capital), in particular, for economic growth. Regional decentralization has implications, which, they must be developed regional endowment to get the efficiency in production process. So it is interesting to examine the importance of regional characteristics in the observed variability of regional wage in Indonesia. Based on this idea, the objective of this study is to examine the contribution of regional characteristics to the regional wage differential in Indonesia. Data supplied by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics during 2003 – 2007. In this study used 3 model; Ordinary Least Square (OLS), Co-Varian Model and Generalized Least Squared (GLS). Then, the most effective model based on the smallest standard error was chosen to estimate regional characteristics in the observed variability of regional wage inIndonesia. The result showed that the regional characteristics, particularly skilled or unskilled labor, play an important role in determining the wage differentials in region. The empirical evidence presented that regional economic growth and the existing of high skilled labor in labor market have positive impact toward spatial wage. Then, skilled labor and unskilled will give negative influence in regional wage. The points out is laboring existence with level education or skilled level, despite not works or was working have influence toward the regional wage. Therefore, labor's policy is expected gets focused on given specialization corresponds to that region characteristics.

Abstract

Mapping industry and need assessement are the first steps for developing the industrial sector. This study aims to describe the performance of the industry, prepare the map of industrial development potency and identify the need assessement on industries in Sub Gunungpati. The data was obtained from the survey by spreading questionnaires and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The descriptive statistical analysis is used in this study. The result shows that there are 12 types of industries in the Village Gunungpati. However, most of these industries do not have a good management of the business eventhough they have been running their industries for a long time. It can be seen from several aspects, such as accounting and finance, production and marketing. Every type of industry has different condition and distribution. There is only one type of industry which form a large cluster; it is the industries that produce red bricks in Ngrembel. Finally, the result of need assessment shows that trainings on administrative records, financial report, innovation on production machines, packaging, marketing, obtaining raw materials, waste management are needed to increase the business capacity. Pemetaan industri dan need assessement merupakan langkah awal dalam pengembangan sektor industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan performance industri, menyusun peta potensi pengembangan industri dan mengidentifikasi need assessement pada industri-industri di Kelurahan Gunungpati. Data diperoleh dari metode survey dengan kuisioner dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 12 jenis industri di Kelurahan Gunungpati. Meski sudah berdiri lama, mayoritas industri- industri tersebut belum memiliki manajemen pengelolaan usaha yang baik. Ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa aspek, antara lain aspek pembukuan dan keuangan, produksi dan pemasaran. Setiap jenis industri memiliki kondisi dan sebaran yang berbeda-beda. Hanya ada satu jenis industri yang membentuk cluster besar yaitu industri pembuatan bata merah di daerah Ngrembel. Hasil need assessment menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pencatatan administrasi, pelatihan penulisan laporan keuangan, inovasi alat produksi, pelatihan teknik pengemasan, pelatihan teknik pemasaran, kemudahan memperoleh bahan baku, dan pengelolaan limbah produksi dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha.

Abstract

Penduduk di Kecamatan Gunungpati sebagian besar bermata pencaharian petani. Hasil pertanian yang dihasilkan adalah buah rambutan. Hasil panen yang melimpah yang belum diimbangi dengan teknologi pasca panen dan rendahnya harga jual mengakibatkan buah rambutan tidak memiliki nilai ekonomis. Harga jual rambutan sangat rendah, hanya mencapai paling tinggi Rp 2.500,00 per ikat. Buah rambutan yang tidak habis terjual akan cepat layu, rusak dan busuk. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa petani di Kecamatan Gunungpati yang menjadi khalayak sasaran belum produktif secara ekonomi. Penerapan teknologi pasca panen merupakan hal yang urgen untuk dilakukan untuk mempertahankan, meningkatkan dan menambah nilai jual produk olahan buah rambutan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar buah rambutan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dapat diupayakan melalui pengolahan buah rambutan menjadi beberapa produk olahan sehingga mampu meningkatkan nilai tambahnya agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani di wilayah Kecamatan Gunungpati. Tujuan kegiatan ini, adalah membentuk kelompok usaha pengolahan buah pada kelompok tani dan penguatan kelembagaannya. Metode yang akan dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah sosialisai dan pelatihan dari aspek kelembagaan. Seluruh proses tersebut dilakukan pada dua kelompok tani yaitu Kelompok Tani Teger dan kelompok Tani Sumber Rejeki yang ada di Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang. Pembentukan KUB serta pelatihan kelembagaan yang dilakukan merupakan usaha untuk menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan di kelompok tani di Kecamatan Gunungpati.

Abstract

This study aims to know the magnitude of the estimated average value of willingness to pay service users BRT Trans Semarang to improve the service quality and to know the change of the desired service quality improvement from the users of BRT Trans Semarang. Quantitative descriptive research approach with Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) is used to analysis the data from 100 respondents. Sampling techniques are carried out by means of purposive random sampling. The finding shows that the magnitude of the average value of willingness to pay IDR. 4,000 and quality service that needs to be fixed are a convenient bus stop placement, more emphasis on user safety, timeliness the potential as well as the necessity to depart and the priority age of BRT users. Government can review back the tariff policy of BRT Trans Semarang set appropriate response from the respondents because the estimated average value of WTP can be the basic reference point for setting the rates and can improve the quality of service to make it more adequate so that users feel at ease when using the BRT Trans Semarang

Abstract

As capital of Central Java, Semarang City has high accessibility since it has harbor, airport, and as the main lane of the mobility. The common urban issues felt by the community are traffic, air pollution, and the lack of public facilities for the non-motorize such as pedestrian track. It is necessary for urban managers and planners to conduct necessary planning and analysis for the development of urban transportation system through a strategic perspective. The objective of this article is to determine the process of spatial planning prioritized to achieve a sustainable transportation in Semarang City. This research was qualitative descriptive. Data were analyzed using the Analysis Hierarchy Process Method. The result showed that the planning of sustainable spatial transportation in Semarang City was arranged by some criteria in its planning; economic aspect, environment and the third is social aspect. The planning of sustainable transportation can be done by providing mode of reliable and well integrated mass transportation, the determining of policy of one RTH for one sub-district and providing a City Walk (a free vehicle area) so that the a friendly non-motorize city concept could be created

Abstract

Economic activities require the transfer of goods and services to be effective and efficient with transportation. The number of motorized vehicles at this time is not comparable to the place of mobility, causing traffic jams. Efforts to reduce congestion are implemented in the city of Semarang through public transportation called BRT Trans Semarang. However, these efforts have not been successful because the number of motorized vehicles has increased after the BRT, which means that the public transportation in Semarang has not been able to overcome traffic jams and facilitate the people of Semarang City. Therefore, it is necessary to know the factors that influence the community in using the BRT Trans Semarang. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the decision to use the BRT Trans Semarang and its surplus. This study used a questionnaire to 100 respondents. Distribution of questionnaires with non probability sampling methods. The dependent variable of this study is the decision to use BRT Trans Semarang. While the independent variables are travel time, accessibility to bus stops, private vehicle ownership, and the presence of online transportation. Besides the willingness to pay variable to calculate the surplus. The analysis tool used is binary logistic regression.The results showed that the accessibility variables to stops, private vehicle ownership, and the presence of online transportation had an influence on decisions in the use of the BRT Trans Semarang. Consumer surplus from BRT Trans Semarang users from the tariff of Rp. 86,000. Kegiatan ekonomi berupa perpindahan barang dan jasa akan lebih efektif dan efisien dengan transportasi. Kondisi saat ini jumlah kendaraan bermotor tidak sebanding dengan tempat mobilitasnya, sehingga terjadilah kemacetan. Upaya untuk mengurangi kemacetan melalui transportasi publik berupa BRT Trans Semarang belum sesuai dengan harapan karena masih banyaknya pengguna kendaraan pribadi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi masyarakat dalam penggunaan BRT Trans Semarang dan surplusnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan dengan metode non probability sampling. Variabel dependen penelitian ini adalah keputusan penggunaan BRT Trans Semarang. Sedangkan variabel independen nya adalah waktu tempuh, aksesibilitas ke halte, kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi, dan adanya transportasi online. Selain itu variabel willingness to pay untuk menghitung surplusnya. Adapun alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel aksesibilitas ke halte, kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi, dan adanya transportasi online memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan dalam penggunaan BRT Trans Semarang. Surplus konsumen pengguna BRT Trans Semarang dari tarif sebesar Rp 86.000.

This study aims to determine the conditions and development of the application of the Smart Indonesia Program and strategies for improving the Smart Indonesia Program in Brebes Regency. This type of research is quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The data used are primary data. Respondents used in this study were 100 high school / vocational students who received the Indonesia Smart Program in Brebes Regency and 7 keyperson. The analytical tool used in this study is gap analysis and Analitycal Hierarchy Proccess (AHP) analysis. The results in this study indicate that the conditions and development of the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program in Brebes Regency is quite good with the percentage of indicator application of 45%. Based on the results of the AHP analysis shows that the order of priority strategies for improving the Smart Indonesia Program in Brebes Regency are sequence, monitoring and evaluation, government policies, and human resources. Based on these priorities, in an effort to improve the Smart Indonesia Program in Brebes Regency, it is necessary to improve the mechanism for implementing the Smart Indonesia Program. Whereas the alternative priority in the Smart Indonesia Program Improvement strategy in Brebes Regency is that funds are channeled directly to the recipients of the Smart Indonesia Program. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi dan perkembangan penerapan Program Smart Indonesia dan strategi untuk meningkatkan Program Smart Indonesia di Kabupaten Brebes.
