Abstract

Mother School Sumbersari (MOSS) 1 is an assisted group of Kantor urusan Agama (KUA) dan Penyuluh Sumbersari in Sumbersari district, Jember Regency. MOSS 1 studies about entrepreneurship as one of their’s activities. The member of MOSS 1 produce food and beverage products during routine events and sell the product by whatsapp. Another activites carried out such as knitting, make a bead and creating another product. MOSS 1 have problems with product marketing and branding. Therefore, the aims of this community service activities are training in making-digital brochures and stengthening branding. The methode used are (1) counseling, (2) training, (3) discussion, and (4) evaluation. The results are counseling activities discussing about the importance of digital marketing and branding, brands and logos. The selected training activity is making online brochures. It’s caused the member’s posts on social media are considered as spam, specifically on whatsapp. Online brochures that have been made can be found at the following link https://imooji.com/stage/v5/29NEB/94817. Strengthening the branding of business product is considered very important based on the results of discussion and evaluation. Strengthening creative product business management in MOSS 1 can be used as a recommendation for further PkM activities.

Abstract

The Covid19 pandemic had a major impact on the weakening of Indonesia's economic sector, including Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The MSME sector is one of the sectors that makes a major contribution to the national economy so it needs to rise during the current Covid19 pandemic. Jambewangi Village is a village located in Sempu District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province. The area of Jambewangi Village is 1,422 Ha / m2 divided into six hamlets including Krajan Hamlet, Panjen Hamlet, Parastembok Hamlet, Sumberjo Hamlet, Tlogosari Hamlet, and Sidomulyo Hamlet. In Jambewangi Village, it has an interesting landscape, such as a homogeneous forest in the form of pines, the confluence of tributaries with branches, a large expanse of rice fields, as well as fields and plantations. The area of Jambewangi Village is at an altitude of 340-800 masl so it has cool air and is good for growing various kinds of fruits and vegetables.

Abstract

Desa Sabrang Kecamatan Ambulu Kabupaten Jember memiliki potensi besar dalam bidang hortikultura, namun kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis dalam pembibitan menjadi kendala utama. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Sabrang melalui sosialisasi inovasi dalam pembuatan media tanam, pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media tanam, serta pelatihan identifikasi pemenuhan sarana produksi pembibitan. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelompok tani setempat dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam pembuatan media tanam yang berkualitas, serta kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sarana produksi. Pelatihan ini juga berhasil membentuk kelembagaan hulu dan hilirisasi unit bisnis pembibitan hortikultura.
