Abstract

Desa Jatian merupakan desa yang sampai saat ini masih mampu melestarikan salah satu kearifan lokal yang ada di Kabupaten Jember. Kearifan lokal yang tetap berkembang dan dilestarikan di Desa Jatian yaitu Nyunteng. Kearifan lokal Nyunteng merupakan suatu tradisi tradisi atau kebudayaan turun ? temurun yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sekitar sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur dan rasa terimakasih kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan leluhur nenek moyang masyarakat setempat. Pelaksanaan Nyunteng melibatkan masyarakat sehingga secara tidak langsung timbul interaksi sosial atau hubungan sosial yang terjadi antar masyarakat, khususnya petani padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan Nyunteng dan (2) perannya terhadap hubungan sosial petani pangan yang ada di Desa Jatian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Jatian Kecamatan Pakusari Kecamatan Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang menjadikan petani dan masyarakat sebagai subjek penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dari lapang dianalisis dengan beberapa metode yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) serangkaian proses Nyunteng dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu dilakukan disawah secara sederhana dan di sawah sekaligus di rumah secara besar ? besaran, (2) kearifan lokal Nyunteng memiliki peran khusus dalam hubungan sosial petani pangan. Peran kearifan lokal Nyunteng dapat meningkatkan hubungan antara petani pangan dan masyarakat sekitar yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan Nyunteng.

Abstract

Dimensi sosial, lingkungan alam dan manusia merupakan aspek utama dalam pertanian berkelanjutan. Aspek lingkungan alam disediakan oleh kawan dan manusia mencakup subyek/pihak-pihak terkait memberikan peluang bagi pengembangan agroeduwisata sebagai salah satu upaya peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan petani terkait penyuluhan dan menyusun model pengembangan agroeduwisata di lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di empat wilayah Kota/Kabupaten Bogor, yaitu Kelurahan Cimahpar, Kelurahan Situgede, Desa Benteng dan Desa Purwasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix methods, data kuantitatif diperoleh dari 201 petani yang dipilih secara acak dan data kualitatif melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) mayoritas petani (34,3%) membutuhkan penyuluhan terkait budidaya, dan 2) setiap lokasi memiliki strategi model agroeduwisata bisa diterapkan di lokasi penelitian dengan pelibatan berbagai pihak (kelompok wanita tani, gabungan kelompok tani, dan kelompok lainnya).

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the household characteristics of dairy farmer, perception of biogas innovation, access of information, the meeting with extension workers and factors affecting biogas diffusion and adoption in Lembang Sub District. Lembang Sub District has a potential of 4 149 dairy farmer households as prospected biogas adopters. Suntenjaya and Cibodas villages were selected as the research sites. All of the population member (266 households) were the research respondents. Questionnaires consist of four independent variables include dairy farmers characteristic, perception of biogas, access of information, and the meeting with extension workers were used to collect primary data. Rank Spearman correlation test was used to analyse the data. Research results shows that motivation, complexity, compatibility, and observability has positive correlation with speed of adoption; and dairy farmers experiences, relative advantage, and and triability has positive correlation with diffusion; the access of information and meeting with extension workers do not correlate with biogas diffusion-adoption since the farmers has involved in the biogas program from an international foundation.Keywords: diffusion, adoption, biogas, perception, inovation

Abstract

East Java is a province that has a high population, household consumption expenditure is an important thing to consider. The implication is that there will be an increase in production and investment in East Java. Therefore, household consumption expenditure is one of the determinants of community welfare. This study aims to analyze the structure of household consumption expenditure and the factors that influence food expenditure in East Java. The data used were secondary data from East Java in Figures 2019. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that there has been an increase in the welfare of the people of East Java. This is indicated by an increase in the amount of non-food expenditure is higher than food expenditure. Factors affecting household food expenditure in East Java are GRDP per capita, inflation rate, rice prices, and non-food expenditure. Based on these results it is suggested that the government needs to maintain the stability of prices of goods and services to avoid inflation because inflation will reduce public consumption and have implications for the economy of East Java. Abstract

ABSTRAKUKM “Resep Iboe” adalah salah satu Industri Rumah Tangga yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan dan penjualan aneka olahan kue kering tradisional Khas Jember. Lokasi usaha terletak di Desa Karangkedawung Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember. Permasalahan mitra yang diidentifikasi di UKM “Resep Iboe” adalah pertama pada proses produksi yang selama ini masih bersifat tradisional sehingga produksi yang dihasilkan kurang optimal. Permasalahan kedua yaitu tidak adanya pembukuan keuangan yang terstruktur, sehingga diperlukan pembukuan keuangan melalui sistem keuangan yang terstruktur. Permasalahan ketiga, yaitu akses pemasaran melalui promosi produk belum menyebar luas. Sedangkan di sisi lain UKM “Resep Iboe” diharuskan menyesuaikan dengan kondisi pandemi Covid-19 untuk menerapkan less contact economy, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan digitalisasi pemasaran. Program Pengabdian Kemitraan pada UKM “Resep Iboe” ini merupakan pendampingan kewirausahaan, kelembagaan dan manajemen pemasaran dalam mendukung pengembangan usaha berbasis kelompok. Kegiatan dimulai dengan sosialisasi, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan inovasi produk (bentuk, rasa, dan kemasan), pelatihan transaksi keuangan (SIAPIK dan QRIS) dan pelatihan desain promosi digital marketing (imooji). Tindak lanjut pasca program dari kegiatan ini adalah menjadikan lokasi pelaksanaan pengabdian sebagai mitra edukasi kewirausahaan, pendampingan manajemen keuangan dan media pemasaran digital. Sedangkan rencana luaran yang ditargetkan: berupa bantuan pendampingan dan peralatan pendukung produksi, pendampingan sistem keuangan SIAPIK serta pembuatan akun platform digital marketing imooji. Kata kunci: UKM; inovasi; SIAPIK; imooji. ABSTRACTSMEs “Resep Iboe” is one of the Home Industries which is engaged in processing and selling various processed traditional Jember pastries. The business location is located in Karangkedawung Village, Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency. The partner problems identified in SMEs "“Resep Iboe”" are the first in the production process which is still traditional so that the resulting production is less than optimal. The second problem is the absence of structured financial bookkeeping, so that financial accounting through a structured financial system is needed. The third problem, namely access to marketing through product promotion has not been widespread. Meanwhile, on the other hand, SMEs “Resep Iboe” are required to adapt to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic to implement a less contact economy, so the development of marketing digitalization is needed. The Partnership Service Program for SMEs “Resep Iboe” is an entrepreneurship, institutional and marketing management assistance in supporting group-based business development. The activity started with socialization, followed by product innovation training (shape, taste, and packaging), financial transaction training (SIAPIK and QRIS) and digital marketing promotion design training (imooji). The post-program follow-up of this activity is to make the location of the service implementation a partner for entrepreneurship education, financial management assistance and digital marketing media. While the planned outputs are targeted: in the form of assistance and production support equipment, assistance to the SIAPIK financial system and the creation of an imooji digital marketing platform account. Keywords: SMEs; innovation; SIAPIK; imooji.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Gelung merupakan desa di Kecamatan Panarukan, Kabupaten Situbondo yang berbatasan dengan Selat Madura dan memiliki kekhasan dalam wirausaha rengginang. Kelompok UMKM rengginang telah berjalan turun terumurun. Rengginang merupakan salah satu produk yang sudah yang menjadi identitas desa tersebut. Rengginang ikan Desa Gelung dikenal luas paling enak di Kabupaten Situbondo.Rengginang merupakan salah satu produk yang sudah yang menjadi identitas desa  Gelung, namun pada masa pandemic covid-19 sebagian besar produsen rengginang mengalami kendala sehingga berdampak pada penurunan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Gelung. Berkaitan hal tersebut maka kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas kewirausahaan ini dilakukan guna membantu UMKM Desa Gelung terus konsisten berjalan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan Oktober 2021 dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dalam satu lingkup sosial masyarakat mengarah perubahan yang lebih baik. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap 1) survey/persiapan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) monitoring dan evaluasi. Penyampaian materi dilakukan oleh tim dengan metode diskusi dan role play serta metode sosialisasi dan presentasi. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas kewirausahan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta mengemukakan sangat puas dan memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan menilai pelatihan sangat puas dan sangat bermanfaat. Lebih lanjut pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap UMKM di Desa Gelung perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan sehingga memajukan rengginang sebagai produk khas Desa Gelung, Kecamatan Panarukan, Kabupaten Situbondo, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Kata kunci: pengabdian; kewirausahaan; UMKM; peningkatan kapasitas; rengginang. ABSTRACTGelung Village is located in Panarukan District, Situbondo Regency which borders the Madura Strait. Gelung has uniqueness in rengginang entrepreneurship. The Rengginang MSME group has been running for generations. Rengginang is one of the products that has become the identity of the village.Rengginang is one of the products that has become the identity of Gelung village, but during the covid-19 pandemic, most of the rengginang producers experienced problems, resulting in a decline in the economy of the Gelung Village community. The entrepreneurship capacity-building training activity was carried out to help the MSMEs of Gelung Village continue to run consistently. This activity has been carried out from July to October 2021 with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method in a social community that leads to better changes. The community service activities include several stages: 1) survey/preparation, 2) implementation, 3) monitoring and evaluation. The material was delivered by the team using discussion and role-play methods as well as socialization and presentation methods. The results of the entrepreneurship capacity building training activity showed that the majority of participants were very satisfied and had a positive impact on the participants. The majority of training participants rated the training as very satisfying and very useful. Furthermore, training and assistance for MSMEs in Gelung Village need to be carried out continuously to promote rengginang as a typical product of Gelung Village, Panarukan District, Situbondo Regency, East Java Province. Keywords: community empowerment; entrepreneur; mall and Medium Enterprise (SME); capacity building; rengginang.

Abstract

Hidayah Tani Farmers Group is a farmer's institution in Jember, East Java. The potential for large cayenne pepper productivity is around 523 tons, but most members of the Farmers Group still prioritize farming with rice-rice-palawija and rice-rice-tobacco cropping patterns. Meanwhile, cayenne pepper as a local potential has not become a priority because of the lack of technical knowledge about cayenne pepper cultivation. This group has several needs in terms of assistance and economic empowerment through farmer group institutions. Through group-based institutions, farmers can get counseling and assistance related to the cultivation of cayenne pepper in an integrated manner by utilizing their yards. Service activities are carried out through socialization of service programs, providing integrated cayenne pepper cultivation assistance, conducting counseling related to institutional strengthening of farmer groups, and monitoring and evaluation. Farmers' responses to the implementation of the mentoring program showed that the participants' perception of the cayenne pepper cultivation technique was good, and the women agreed that there would be a Women Farmers Group formed.

Abstract

The student study service program or KKN BTV III was held during covid-19 pandemic. This program hoped that students will still have the urgency of service so that they can develop their ability to socialize in the community by implementing health protocols and as a medium for business development for communities affected by Covid-19. KKN BTV III University of Jember is a KKN that has various themes or is called Thematic KKN. However, the theme taken by one of students is empowering entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19. Which is where the target of the BTV III KKN Student activity is the Banana Chips SMEs "Fantobiz". The work program he made was regarding the improvement of the identity branding sticker of an MSME and also market expansion by utilizing digital marketing in the form of Instagram, WhatsApp and Shopee as a medium for buying and selling Banana Chips Products online which aims to expand the sales range of "Fantobiz" banana chips to make it more affordable. famous to go out of town to increase sales. KKN BTV III students at the University of Jember not only help create digital marketing accounts but also train the use of digital marketing so that their businesses can then run on the provisions already owned by the MSMEs. And also the identity of the product is improved not only through the product sticker but also the making of a banner that becomes a flashlight for an MSME. Abstract

Kampong Kopi Lerek Gombengsari (Kopi Lego) is a brand for Banyuwangi coffee plantation tourism activities starting from Gombengsari village. The development of Kopi Lego agro-tourism not only provides coffee tourism but is also supported by the role of Farmer Groups (Poktan) in the on-farm process and the role of Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) in the coffee off-farm process through their supporting business units. Kopilego agro-tourism develops through the active participation of farmers in the Poktan and Pokdarwis institutional systems which have the potential to be developed through an empowerment model. There are several problems related to institutional management through Poktan and Pokdarwis including the low knowledge of member farmers in post-harvest coffee maintenance, both processing and marketing access and there is no synergistic support from various parties in sustainable agro-tourism management through Poktan and Pokdarwis institutions. This study aims to determine the institutional profile of Poktan and Pokdarwis Agrotourism, group empowerment in increasing the knowledge of Poktan and Pokdarwis members and analyze the empowerment that supports sustainable agro-tourism in the perspective of the penta helix model. This study uses a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews and literature review. The results showed that (1) Tunas Harapan Farmer Group and Pokdarwis Gombengsari became the main actors in the development of agro-tourism through the on-farm and off-farm processes of Lego Coffee, (2) empowerment of Poktan and Pokdarwis required assistance in processing and marketing access, and (3) Group-based empowerment involves various stakeholder roles in the pentahelix perspective (academics: UNEJ and UPN-VJ; business: BNI and Pertamina, community: Poktan and Pokdarwis; government: Department of Agriculture, Department of Industry and Trade and Department of Tourism; and media: Radar and Media Banyuwangi Social Affairs) to support sustainable agro-tourism in Gombengsari, Banyuwangi Regency.

Abstract

Sukamakmur Village is a village located in Ajung District, Jember Regency with residents making a living as farmers and cultivating freshwater fish. The location of Sukamakmur Village is very prospective for freshwater fish cultivation because of its strategic location in getting water, and the type of fish being cultivated is catfish. In the last period, most of the people who cultivate catfish have gone out of business due to increasing feed prices while the selling value of catfish is unable to cover. The purpose of this community service program is to increase the standard of living and welfare of the people of Sukamakmur Village through the cultivation of freshwater crayfish as a substitute for catfish commodities. The method used for service program activities is through socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation approaches. The results of the activity show that the community is enthusiastic in implementing freshwater crayfish cultivation because the cultivation method is very easy and requires low costs. Another result obtained is that the community can start new businesses, especially those that have gone out of business due to catfish cultivation so that they can bounce back in increasing their income
