Abstract

Data from the Ministry of Cooperative, UMKM, and UB (Large Enterprises )in 2018 shows an increase in the number of MSMEs with a proportion of 0,98% of 64.199.60,6 and in 2019 it has grown to 65.471.134. The increased number of MSMEs is the reason for the importance marketing strategies by MSMEs too penetrate more and more market competition. This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors that influence the business development strategy in MSME SHE’S Kitchen using the SOAR (Strength, Opportunities, Aspiration, and Result and BMC (Business Model Canvas) Methods of strategic planning that identifies and analyze a strength an opportunity so that it can produce aspirations, goals, strategies, and commitment to get the resulting desire by the company. In addition, this research also aims to provide BMC tourism as well as appropriate business transformation designs to be developed in SHE’S Kitchen UMKM. The result of this study obtained 10 alternative strategies based on SOAR matrix analysis and there were additional 6 BMC Strategy components, namely key resources, value propositions, customer relationships, customer segments, and revenue streams.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the analysis of the internal and external conditions of Mokey MSMEs and to design the best alternative strategy proposals to increase sales and maintain the business being run using the SWOT matrix (Strength, Weakness, Threat, Opportunity) and the QSPM method (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The results of the study showed that there are 7 (seven) strategies that Mokey MSMEs can use to increase sales and maintain the business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that shape the brand image of the Industrial Engineering Department of UIN Suska Riau and design a promotional strategy using the Cochran test and marketing mix methods. Data were obtained from 100 respondents through a questionnaire. The results showed significant differences between the attributes tested, with a Q value > X² table in all tests. The main factors that shape the brand image include reputation, accreditation, teaching staff, quality of education, and student comfort.

Abstract

The condition during pandemic generally has significant impact to all the aspect in society. This condition is also occurring in Desa Kualu Nenas, that most of the people activities are as farmers and fish breeders. The high cost of fish feed is one of the main problems faced by almost all fish farmers. This community service aims to plan and prepare the need of a comprehensive solution, started from maggot cultivation, practice/workshop, and outreach to the community. It was carried out with all the limited conditions and try to utilizing the existing local resources. Maggot cultivation itself can be a new business opportunity for the community, with an ease of manufacture, cultivation process and the large number of market demands. For pellet ingredients, it is using a semi-automatic pelletizing machine has also been produced which has succeeded in making pellets, although it is still in progress of developing to make it more optimal. The results of the service raise hope from the community who want that this empowerment activity can be carried out sustainably in the form of assistance. Abstract

PT. Metro Riau is a newspaper printing company facing significant challenges due to high machine breakdown rates, which have impacted maintenance costs and production output. This study aims to compare machine maintenance costs using repair policy and preventive maintenance policy methods and provide recommendations for the most efficient maintenance approach. The data utilized includes types of breakdowns, maintenance costs, and production rates during the 2023 period. The research employs a quantitative analysis method to calculate repair and preventive maintenance costs based on the probability of breakdowns for each type of machine. The findings reveal that for type A breakdowns, the repair policy is more cost-effective, with a maintenance cost of IDR 143,829 compared to IDR 176,384 for the preventive maintenance policy. Conversely, for type B and C breakdowns, the preventive maintenance policy is more efficient, with costs of IDR 259,616 and IDR 375,950, respectively, compared to the repair policy. Based on these results, it is recommended to implement the repair policy for type A breakdowns and the preventive maintenance policy for types B and C. This combined approach is expected to reduce maintenance costs while enhancing the reliability of the company's production machinery.

Abstract

Saat ini kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi sangat penting untuk mendukung berbagai aktivitas masyarakatnya. Mayoritas penduduk, terutama mahasiswa, cenderung memilih menggunakan sepeda motor sebagai alat transportasi. Fenomena ini menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan akan sepeda motor. Bagi masyarakat, menggunakan sepeda motor dianggap lebih praktis dan ekonomis, sehingga menjadikan kebersihan dan perawatan sepeda motor menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Permasalahan dari usaha pencucian motor dan karpet yang paling utama adalah kerusakan jalan akibat genangan air dan beban kendaraan, pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah yang dihasilkan dan juga timbulnya bau tidak sedap akibat genangan air limbah. Tujuannya adalah melakukan perancangan perbaikan sistem kerja pada usaha pencucian motor dan karpet yang tidak memberikan efek buruk bagi tubuh manusia melainkan akan membantu pekerja pada usaha pencucian motor dan karpet dalam upaya dengan pendekatan green ergonomic dan eco-efficiency. Perancangan sistem kerja dengan konsep green ergonomi memiliki kemampuan untuk menjamin efisiensi lingkungan dengan menjadikan proses kerja lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, penambahan filter air sebagai penyaringan limbah pencucian motor dan karpet mampu meningkatkan eco-efficiency, serta perbaikan desain lantai kerja yang membuat pekerja bekerja dengan nyaman, aman, dan ergonomis

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify an analysis of the internal and external conditions of Mokey MSMEs and to design the best alternative strategy proposal in order to increase sales and maintain the business being run using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Threat, Opportunity) matrix and the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The research results showed that the position of MSME Mokey was categorized as high in utilizing internal and external conditions with a total of IFE 3.9 and EFE 3.8 and the results of analysis using the QSPM method showed that there were 7 strategies that MSME Mokey could use to increase sales and maintain the business.

Abstract

This study evaluates the inventory management of boiler ash raw materials in an independent organic fertilizer company, UMTR Belilas, using the Min-Max method supported by forecasting. The main problem in this study is that consumer demand is often not met on time due to suboptimal inventory management. The purpose of this research is to maintain the availability of raw materials in order to meet consumer demand optimally while reducing the risk of out-of-stock and overstocking. The results show that the application of the Min-Max method results in a minimum stock limit of 88.5 kg and a maximum stock of 171 kg, with an optimal purchase quantity of 82.5 kg per order. The safety stock level is calculated at 6.1 kg, while the Reorder Point (ROP) is set at 88.5 kg. With an order frequency of 120 times per year, this method has succeeded in optimizing storage costs through faster stock turnover. The combination of the Min-Max method and forecasting has proven to be effective in responding to fluctuations in demand, ensuring the availability of raw materials on time, and supporting the operational sustainability of organic fertilizer production.

Abstract

PT Pegadaian, as listed on its official website, is a fast-growing financial company. One of its key challenges is late installment payments, which can lead to financial losses. Using pawn customer data from 2013 to 2021, this study found that out of 534 customers, 68 were late in paying installments, and 10 did not pay. To address this issue, this research applies customer classification to identify borrowers who are more likely to pay on time. The classification model is developed using data mining with the C5.0 algorithm to generate decision-tree rules. Prior to modeling, the dataset is processed through the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) stages, including data selection, cleaning, and transformation. The proposed model produces 26 classification rules and achieves an accuracy of 87.04%. All data processing, modeling, and validation are conducted using RapidMiner Studio. Abstract

Proses produksi Pandai Besi Kebun Nenas dilakukan secara manual mulai dari kegiatan pembelahan hingga pada kegiatan penyepuhan. Hal ini mengakibatkan salah satu pekerjaan yang sering mengalami keluhan muskuloskeletal adalah usaha pandai besi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi keluhan muskuloskeletal pada Pandai Besi Kebun Nenas menggunakan metode PLIBEL Checklist, dimana selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan sistem kerja dengan menggunakan metode WISH. Pada pendekatan menggunakan PLIBEL Checklist dihasilkan bahwa stasiun dan kegiatan yang paling tinggi penyebab keluhan muskuloskeletal adalah pada stasiun penajaman dengan skor leher, bahu, dan panggung bagian atas dengan persentase 42,31%, siku lengan bawah dan tangan dengan persentase 63,64%, kaki dengan persentase 75%, punggung bagian bawah dengan persentase 52,38%. untuk faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan atau organisasi dengan persentase sebesar 77,78%. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendekatan dengan menggunakan metode WISH dan didapatkan hasil aspek prioritas tertinggi adalah pada stasiun kerja, sehingga dilakukan perancangan meja kerja untuk stasiun penajaman. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah dilakukannya perbaikan sistem kerja dihasilkan bahwa terjadi penurunan keluhan muskuloskeletal. Pada bagian leher, bahu, dan punggung bagian atas turun sebesar 19,24%. Pada bagian siku, lengan bawah, dan tangan turun sebesar 27,28%. Pada bagian kaki turun sebesar 37,5%. Pada bagian lutut dan pinggul turun sebesar 37,5%. Pada bagian punggung bagian bawah turun sebesar 33,34%. Sedangkan pada risiko yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan atau organisasi turun sebesar 11,11%.
