Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of Balinese local wisdom, which is still being inserted into elementary school students learning in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used library research by prioritizing integrity, the accuracy of sources, relationships, meaning and suitability with the research focus. The data collection technique for this research was to study documentation articles indexed by Sinta and Scopus related to Balinese local wisdom in the Merdeka Curriculum and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study indicated that: (1) Local wisdom in Bali remained timeless and sustainable when applied to learning in elementary schools, despite curriculum changes occurring every five years, (2) Balinese local wisdom, such as Tri Hita Karana and ethnomatics, continued to be incorporated into the curriculum, (3) science and mathematics were identified as subjects in the Merdeka curriculum that could be integrated with Balinese local wisdom, (4) Civics and Indonesian were identified as areas where Balinese local wisdom was not sufficiently applied in the Merdeka curriculum, and (5) traditional games and values in Balinese folklore were found to be aspects of Balinese local wisdom that were not adequately integrated into elementary school learning.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of human existence as it promotes human enhancement in the emotive, cognitive, and psychomotor domains. The implementation of an educational wisdom model can be in the form of ideas, outlines, diagrams, or numerical states that are used to clarify, clarify, and present parts of a real instructional problem. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a mini-research to share suggestions about educational wisdom. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The research location was in all primary schools in Buleleng Regency. The object of the research was primary schools in Buleleng district. The research subjects were students and teachers in Buleleng district. The results of the study showed a low student-teacher ratio, namely Banjar sub-district 16.59, Buleleng sub-district 17.71, and Busungbiu sub-district 14.74 with this low ratio interpreted as the three sub-districts having an excess of primary school teachers. Ideas for intelligence that can be provided include the ideal ratio of students to teachers must be met, as well as school facilities, complete and appropriate learning facilities, teacher availability and competence, principal availability and competence, service personnel availability and competence, labour availability and competence, librarian availability and competence, and the ideal ratio of students to teachers. It is recommended to education policy managers to match the actual needs in primary schools that refer to the 8 education standards.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the influence of gender and learning strategies on the mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pendem, Jembrana District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a 2 x 3 factorial design. From the results of the critical thinking ability test, it is found that the sig value for gender is 0.40 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in the average score of mathematical critical thinking skills. students who are influenced by gender. The sig value for the learning strategy is 1.010 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in the average score of students' mathematical critical thinking skills which is influenced by the learning strategy. There is no difference in the average score of critical thinking skills between male and female students who follow the learning strategy. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was no difference in the average mathematical critical thinking ability of students which was influenced by gender.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka adalah inovasi pendidikan yang merespon perubahan zaman di era Society 5.0. Penelitian ini melakukan literatur review untuk mendalami konsep Kurikulum Merdeka dan mengidentifikasi kontribusinya terhadap pendidikan dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka berupaya mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang dibutuhkan di tengah revolusi industri 4.0. Dalam rangka memungkinkan implementasinya yang efektif, diperlukan perubahan paradigma pendidikan, pengembangan kompetensi guru, serta dukungan dari berbagai stakeholder pendidikan. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan peluang untuk membangun siswa yang mandiri, kreatif, dan mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan sosial dan teknologi di era Society 5.0. Studi literatur ini memberikan wawasan tentang esensi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam konteks pendidikan dasar yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman.

Abstract

Kasus rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pelatihan disebabkan karena tidak adanya perhatian siswa dalam siklus belajar, selain itu persekolahan masih suram sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Rencana masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh hasil yang diperoleh dari kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan kelas yang menggunakan model biasa. Demikian pula tujuan dari pengujian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Ujian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dan bermacam data yang digunakan adalah sebagai uji sasaran yang sesuai dengan penanda. Penelitian yang menggunakan informasi t-test dicoba terlebih dahulu menggunakan uji fundamental, khususnya uji kenormalan dan uji homogenitas. Hal ini menyebabkan tingkat keterampilan siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran hanya mencapai 70,64, kemudian setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran pengungkapan nilai rata-rata yang didapat adalah 85,93. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka cenderung diduga bahwa model pembelajaran pengungkapan informasi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah potensi penerapan konsep Tri Hita Karana dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di sekolah dasar. Dengan metode literatur review, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa konsep Tri Hita Karana, yang mencakup Parahyangan (hubungan dengan Tuhan), Pawongan (hubungan dengan sesama manusia), dan Palemahan (hubungan dengan alam), memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Parahyangan membantu dalam pembentukan nilai moral dan etika, Pawongan berkontribusi pada kemampuan sosial siswa, dan Palemahan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan. Integrasi ketiganya menciptakan pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang holistik dan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang mendalam tentang bagaimana pendidikan karakter berbasis Tri Hita Karana dapat membantu menciptakan individu yang lebih seimbang, peduli terhadap lingkungan, dan berperan sebagai warga yang beretika dan bertanggung jawab dalam masyarakat, dengan implikasi yang positif pada perkembangan pribadi dan kemajuan sosial.

Abstract

This study focuses on the learning assistance at Rumah Baca Loloan aimed at improving the reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung) skills of elementary school students. The background of this research is the concern over the low calistung abilities among elementary school students, which could potentially hinder their academic performance in the future. This assistance program is implemented in response to the urgent need to improve basic skills through a more personalized and supportive learning approach. The assistants, consisting of trained PGSD students, pay special attention to the students, ensuring they receive the necessary help to overcome learning difficulties. The results of the assistance show a significant improvement in the students' calistung abilities after participating in this program. Indicators of improvement include increased reading fluency and text comprehension, improved writing skills with correct spelling and sentence structure, as well as increased speed and accuracy in basic arithmetic. Additionally, there is an increase in students' motivation to learn and self-confidence. The significance of these findings is that learning assistance outside of formal school hours can play an important role in enhancing students' basic skills. Support from parents and the community also proves to be crucial in the success of this program. The importance of this service lies in the evidence that structured and sustained interventions can have a significant positive impact on students' academic development, highlighting the need to expand similar programs to reach more students in need.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) telah mengumumkan virus corona atau covid-19 sebagai pandemi, yaitu keadaan dimana populasi di seluruh dunia memiliki peluang dapat terjangkit atau terkena infeksi. Keadaan ini tentunya juga berdampak pada perekonomian Indonesia yang secara langsung juga berdampak pada dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Mengingat pandemi ini adalah suatu musibah yang mendadak sehingga mengakibatkan kebijakan atau keputusan yang diambil secara cepat tanpa adanya persiapan yang matang membuat guru, siswa, dan orang tua merasa kebijakan tersebut kurang efektif terutama bagi sebagian siswa yang teknik pembelajarannya tidak terbiasa dengan daring. Untuk itu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai sarana penyampaian kebermanfaatan ilmu dan rasa kepedulian terhadap masyarakat dibidang pendidikan dalam bentuk pendampingan belajar melalui kegiatan bimbingan belajar di rumah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk tetap mengefektifkan dan memaksimalkan dari tujuan pembelajaran di sekolah. Program ini dilaksanakan pada daerah yang telah terkonfirmasi zona hijau oleh pemerintah setempat. Kegiatan ini melibatkan siswa Sekolah Dasar di Dusun Wali, Yeh Embang, Kec. Mendoyo, Kab. Jembrana Prov. Bali. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa mengalami perkembangan yang baik. Perlunya perbaikan fasilitas dalam keberlanjutan pelaksanaan program kegiatan bimbingan belajar sehingga siswa lebih nyaman dalam belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan implementasi model pembelajaran course review horay (CRH) pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV semester II di SDN 2 Tigawasa, Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng pada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Tigawasa dengan banyaknya siswa 28 orang. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar pada ranah kognif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi untuk aktivitas belajar siswa dan metode tes untuk hasil belajar IPA siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 70 (kategori aktif) dan meningkat menjadi 81,07 (kategori sangat aktif) pada siklus II. Kemudian hasil belajar IPA siswa pada siklus I didapat rata-rata persentase sebesar 71% (kategori sedang) dan meningkat mencapai 86% (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran course review horay dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Tigawasa.Kata Kunci : Model CRH, Aktivitas Belajar, Hasil Belajar The purpose of this research was to improve activities and student’s learning in science by applying model of learning that is course review horay (CRH) for fourth grade of SDN 2 Tigawasa in second semester, Banjar district, Buleleng regency in academic year 2015/20116. The type of this research was classroom step research that conducts in two cycles. The subject of this research was the fourth grade student of SDN 2 Tigawasa which numbers 28. The objects of this research were student’s learning activities and the result of student’s learning in science on cognitive. Data collected by observation of student’s learning activities and test for student’s learning in science. The results of the research indicate the average of student’s learning activities and student’s learning in science. According to the result of student’s learning activities observation in the first cycle is 70 (active) increase to 81.07 (very active) in the second cycle. According to the result of student’s learning in science in the first cycle indicates the average percentage is 71% (middle) increase into 86% (high) in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application model of learning that is course review horay (CRH) can improve student’s learning activities and student’s learning in science for fourth grade of SDN 2 Tigawasa.keyword : CRH Model, Learning Activities, Result Learning

Abstract

Quality education is a crucial foundation for the development of a nation. In the context of learning and development, the creation of innovative teaching materials plays a central role in enhancing students' understanding and learning experiences, especially at the primary education level. Primary education requires quality teachers who can create captivating and effective learning experiences for students. To achieve this goal, mastery of technology in creating teaching materials becomes essential. This community engagement program, titled "Assistance for Creating Innovative Teaching Materials with Canva for PGSD Students," aims to provide training and guidance to students in the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) in using Canva, a popular graphic design platform. The outcomes of this program include enhancing students' skills in developing engaging, relevant, and interactive teaching materials, as well as empowering them as future teachers who are better prepared to face the challenges of education in the future. Moreover, this program contributes to the improvement of the quality of primary education by providing high-quality learning materials and creating a more enjoyable learning experience. It responds to the demands of the time by leveraging educational technology for more effective learning and supporting the preparation of quality future teachers.
