Abstract

Abstract - Documents handling at Dinas Pendapatan, Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Pati was done manually and was not computerized. Because of that, it is needed to build documents management information system to automate the document control activity at department include the function of documents recording, documents making, and documents tracking. For gaining the purpose, a research must be done. That research used Framework for Application System Thinking (FAST) with eight phase, that is scope definition, problem analyst, requirement analyst, logical design, decision analyst, physical design and integration, construction and testing, and also installation and delivery. This research was implemented by using PHP, HTML, and Javascript as programming language and MySQL as database. System testing was done by using black box testing method.The result from this research is documents management information system.

Abstract

Computer games has been widespread. Currently, almost all devices that have a screen can play the game with the experience of interactivity to entertain the public. The game does not always have a negative effect. Game application that has a learning function will be useful and easily accepted by society. This study was conducted to determine how computer games can be a fun medium of information and learning by making use of speech recognition interaction. The application development of this "Let's Say" game is done by using the method of multimedia development consisting stages of concept, design, material collection, implementation, testing, and distribution. The design of the application is done using UML modeling and ERD. Application development is done using Visual Basic.NET programming language, WPF system interface, and SQLite database. Application utilizes Windows Speech Recognition as a speech recognition engine. Functional testing of the application is done using black box methods. Applications testing to users is done through a questionnaire. The test results showed that the application works well according to functions that has been specified. Application testing to users indicate that the application is informative and easy to use with a view that is quite interesting. Tests also showed that the use of speech recognition has been going well and helpful.

Abstract

Nowadays, business competitions become much fiercer, whether it be small, medium, or large business. It even makes many enterpreuners go out of business because they took the wrong step facing the fierce competition. A precise strategy is needed to face the competition, such as knowing the location of the costumers,knowing the needs of the costumers, utilizing the surroundings, utilizing technologies, etc. Simple selling products such as adding pictures of the produts in brochures is considered less interesting for costumers. By utilizing Augmented Reality technology for product presentation, businessmen are expected to present more interesting products promotion to the costumer and achieve higher sale value. The application of Augmented Reality technology for promoting products is built by SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method consist of Concepting, Desaigning, Collecting Materials, Making, Examination, and Distribution steps. The Examination steps uses Black-Box Testing method that consists of Application Functionality test, Lighting Intensity test, Angle and Length of The Camera from the marker. Based on the examination and analysis results towards the built application, it is concluded that application utilization can be a product advertising in the form of Personal Selling. Light intensity affects camera’s perception on Marker’s ID. In the 90 ̊ angle, the detection is nonoptimal because system can’t perceive the marker ID completely. Functionally, all buttons are functioning well and all the pages are openable.

Abstract

Daur air atau bisa disebut dengan siklus hidrologi merupakan materi pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam tingkat Sekolah Dasar kelas V. Materi ini membahas tentang proses perputaran air yang ada di muka bumi. Media pembelajaran yang saat ini digunakan masih didominasi oleh buku yang berisi tulisan dan gambar saja. Penggunaan gambar yang telah tersedia dalam buku teks membuat siswa cenderung pasif dan kurang interaktif karena media gambar tidak mampu memberikan respon timbal balik, kurang terlihat nyata dan kurang menarik bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah perangkat lunak berbasis android yang dapat menampilkan pemodelan siklus air atau hidrologi dalam bentuk tiga dimensi memanfaatkan teknologi augmented reality. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan multimedia meliputi tahap konsep, tahap desain, tahap pengumpulan materi, tahap pembuatan, tahap pengujian dan tahap distribusi. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan Unity 3D, serta Vuforia sebagai Software Development Kit (SDK). Aplikasi berjalan pada perangkat bergerak dengan sistem operasi Android. Pada tahap pengujian dilakukan pengujian dengan metode Black Box yang meliputi pengujian fungsi aplikasi, pengujian intensitas cahaya, sudut dan jarak antara kamera dengan penanda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap aplikasi yang telah dibangun, seluruh fungsi menu dan antarmuka dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Deteksi penanda oleh kamera mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda-beda. Proses deteksi penanda pada sudut 90 ̊ tidak baik karena proses pembacaan penanda tidak dapat ditangkap oleh sistem. Selain itu, jarak yang baik untuk sistem mengidentifikasi penanda yaitu lebih dari 10 cm.

Abstract

The information system that can provide complete, accurate information in an integrated way with the ability to reach all people in the system is very important. The criteria are not fulfilled by the warehouse management system on PT. PLN (Persero), distribution of Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta. Some districts are not reached by the information system technology; some of them still use Microsoft Office Excel to manage the goods in the warehouse. . So, communication up to rayon is not good, rayon and area are so hard to exchange information, transaction between rayon and area is not quick. this case cause procurement goods is hampered, and this make direct impact to unfinished project . Therefore, the online system of this warehouse can solve the flaw of the old system. The Warehouse Online System is the ASP.Net-based web application. This development process uses Microsoft Visual Studio as the development tools. An information system is not separable from the database as the information data storage; Warehouse Online System uses Oracle as the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). The Warehouse Online System is suitable with the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) of PT. PLN (Persero). Through Warehouse Online System, the distributors from the area or district can be integrated to communicate, to do the transaction on the material in the warehouse, and to get the access of the user based on their task and authority. Based on the Black Box test, the functions on Warehouse Online System function like what is expected. The maintenance process is still needed to improve the system in the future.

Abstract

Gold is one of commodities investment which its value continue to increase by year. The rising price of gold will encourage investors to choose to invest in gold rather than the stock market. With the risks that are relatively low, gold can give better resultsin accordance with its increasing price. In addition, gold can also be a safe value protector in the future.The Objectives of the research are to predict the price of gold using artificial neural networks backpropagations methods and to analyze best network used in prediction. In the process of training data, it is used some training parameters to decide the best gold prediction architecture. Comparative parameters that is used are the variation of the number of hidden layers, number of neurons in each hidden layer, learning rate, minimum gradients and fault tolerance. The results showed that the best architecture has an accuracy rate of 99,7604% of data training and test data at 98,849% with architecture combinations are have two hidden layer neurons combined 10-30, the error rate 0.00001 and 0.00001 of learning rate.

Abstract

Mikroskop Digital merupakan salah satu pengembangan dari mikroskop cahaya yang memungkinkan gambar untuk ditampilkan pada layar monitor komputer. Mikroskop Digital terkini memungkinkan proses pengamatan preparat dilakukan dengan lebih detail. Pengamatan dapat dilakukan secara tidak langsung menggunakan bantuan aktuator mikroskopik untuk mendapatkan susunan elemen-elemen citra dasar yang nantinya akan digabungkan menjadi sebuah citra tunggal dengan resolusi tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perangkat lunak pada mikrostepper. Perangkat lunak ini bertujuan untuk menentukan citra yang paling fokus dari beberapa dataset citra masukan.Perangkat lunak yang dibuat untuk menentukan fokus citra digital yakni menggunakan Delphi. Tahap perancangan berisi tentang prosedur pengembangan program yang terdiri dari pengumpulan sampel data citra mikroskop digital, pengubahan citra menjadi aras keabuan, ekstraksi fitur citra hingga didapatkan nilai cost function tertinggi.  Algoritma ekstraksi ciri  yang digunakan dalam pencarian nilai cost function (C) citra digital mikroskopik antara lain  Teknik Penurunan Laplacian, Teknik Statistikal Variansi Ternormalisasi, Teknik Histogram Entropi.Tahap implementasi pengambilan sampel citra digital, pengubahan citra menjadi aras keabuan, konvolusi citra digital dan kuantisasi nilai fokus citra.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dataset citra masukan dapat diproses dengan benar melalui proses pengubahan citra masukan menjadi aras keabuan, tahapan konvolusi dan nilai cost function mampu didapatkan sesuai dengan teknik pencarian menggunakan ekstraksi fitur. Citra terpilih dapat ditentukan setelah mengetahui perbandingan masing-masing nilai cost function pada citra masukan. Perangkat lunak dapat berjalan baik pada sistem operasi Windows 7. Pada bagian antarmuka, tombol-tombol dan prosedur program telah berfungsi sesuai dengan fungsionalitasnya masing-masing.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology in various aspects of life of today's technology allows developers to create applications that aims to facilitate the public in obtaining information based on mobile. Seeing the importance of the role of astronomy satellites it needs to make a multimedia application with Augmented Reality technology that can provide an overview and brief specifications on astronomy satellite without having to go to the planetarium or observatory.This research is using MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) framework. The process of assembly (pemasangan) was performed using Unity and Vuforia library. The result is a book containing related image about NASA’s astronomy satellites which functioned as a marker and an Augmented Reality application based on Android that is capable of displaying NASA’s astronomical satellites on the top of marker that can display brief information about the shape and its parts when touched on the screen. The application that has been made function properly and in accordance with the concept and design. The ideal condition of using the application in places exposed to light with the intensity of 108,3 ± 2,5 lux upwards. In addition the camera is directed to the distance between 10-75 cm of the marker and the angle between 40 ± 0,5 O – 140 ± 0,5 O .. The greater the intensity of the light does not affect the sensitivity of the camera to detect the marker increases. In other words, the marker will not be detected if the distance marker on the camera more than 75 cm and the angle of the camera marker less than 40 ± 0,5 O or more than 140 ± 0,5 O though the light intensity is greater.

Abstract

Security is a very important aspect in data communication. In the last decade, there was a rapid development in mobile phone technology. Smartphone have been equipped with various features and one of them is the short message service (SMS). However, messages sent via mobile phone networks pose threat to be accessed by people who do not have any authorization. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on the development of software to enhance the security of messages through message encryption and decryption features. This application uses Java programming language with SDK (Software Development Kit) Android and Android Studio 1.3.1 as an editor. The initial step of this research is to encrypt the original message to produce the ciphertext message. The second step is to decrypt ciphertext incoming messages to become genuine message. Results from this research are an Android-based application that can perform encryption and decryption of the SMS messages using the RC6 algorithm. With the application of cryptography for SMS messages, the expected level of information security of the message can be improved so that the message will be more secure from unauthorized access.

Abstract

This research developed a mobile wall climbing robot prototype using 4 DC motors as its driver and a suction tube. It can avoid obstacles. This robot uses Arduino Mega 2560 as its controller board. The robot's weight is 747 grams. The suction tube produces a suction force of 7.815N capable of holding the robot load in a stall vertical position using 12V of voltage. The robot able to crawl down and horizontal, but still can not climb vertically. The robot is able to receive a command of motion manually from a 2.4GHz wireless joystick. In automatic mode, the robot can avoid obstacles using the HC-SR04 proximity sensor. This research also shows the relationship between suction force and the given voltage of DC brushless motor and its throttle value.
