Abstract

Among the village administration, especially in Desa Saentis, the internet is a very important need in serving the community which is used as a medium for information exchange and direct communication with the community from a distance. However, the convenience of the internet is not really felt among the village government in the village of Percut Sei Tuan, apart from the internet network that is not supportive, the community service process is still completely manual, it is hoped that with a wireless network system connected to the internet it can serve the community through a website that will be provided by the government village. It is hoped that later the community around the Seantis Village Office can enjoy an internet connection and become an internet literate village and become a smart village with increasingly rapid technological developments. And the future benefit is that the village is expected to become a pilot village in Deli Serdang district by utilizing an internet connection to share information with the general public.

Abstract

Message security is very important in maintaining the confidentiality of information, especially those containing important information whose contents should only be known by the entitled party. Therefore, security is needed for messages that are confidential so that messages cannot be intercepted by people who do not want them and the information content of the message becomes more secure. One way is to apply ElGamal and LSB cryptography methods to be able to provide security to text messages by inserting into digital images, the ElGamal algorithm focuses on the strength of the key in solving discrete logarithm problems. By utilizing large prime numbers and discrete logarithm problems which are quite difficult and also by applying the LSB method for text insertion, the security of the key is more guaranteed. The test results on five image objects with the .BMP extension on the application that was built were running well and correctly. The image that is inserted in the encryption process is the insertion of text in the image after it is decrypted and the image produced after the encryption and decryption process is no different from the original image and the same thing for the image size does not change

Abstract

Instant noodles are a food product made from wheat flour or wheat flour with or without the addition of other permitted food ingredients and additives. Instant noodles are popular because they taste delicious, are a practical way to cook and also have an affordable price. Instant noodles are one of the products that are often sold at Elvi stores. In fact, sales of instant noodle products at Elvi stores are erratic. This is because instant noodles are often an alternative food when people are reluctant to cook. The problem with Elvi's shop is that it cannot determine the stock of instant noodles to store which will then be sold more to the public. To minimize losses and maximize profits, a prediction system for instant noodle sales in the coming months is needed. The method used is the Least Square method which is processed based on sales trends. Based on the instant noodle prediction results using the Least Square method on sales data for the period January 2022 to August 2022, the prediction results achieved the highest accuracy of 99% and the lowest accuracy of 85%.

Abstract

Training for teachers and MSMEs at Asga Mandiri Vocational School with the theme Basic Digital Marketing was carried out to increase teachers' and MSMEs' understanding of basic digital marketing. The methodology used in this service is to present material regarding basic digital marketing. Next, provide a tutorial to the participants and evaluate how they understand the material that has been tutorialized using digital platforms such as Google Business and WhatsApp Business. The evaluation results of this activity show that the training is effective in increasing the understanding of teachers and MSMEs so that it can be used as a medium in the business development process, for promotion and product sales. Basic digital marketing training is very important for teachers and MSMEs because it can improve their ability to carry out marketing activities via digital platforms.

Abstract

The theme in the implementation of community service activities is graphic design. Increasing the ability of multimedia in Saentis village adolescents in order to increase the ability of graphic design for youth in Seantis village. As the aim of this activity is to introduce, train and improve mosque skills in the IT field specifically in the field of graphic design through the design of banners or banners. This dedication supports the creation of young people who have talent and skills in the field of graphic design that can be used to get additional training with attractive designs such as printing business.

Abstract

Santri activities in Islamic boarding schools must have several things in an activity such as technical activities, activity groups, and a list of activity events. Data collection on activities at Islamic boarding schools, especially at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, is still manual, using stationery and not neatly structured, such as in data collection on licensing activities at the Education Department office. Making a list of activities and dividing groups into each activity, resulting in difficulties when sharing data to other fields. The application of student activities in Islamic boarding schools using the Agile method is a research objective to reduce problems that occur in the Care Department and to make activity data collection easier, as well as becoming information that can be accessed by anyone using electronic devices in the form of PCs/Laptops and smartphones. So this application for student activities in Islamic boarding schools becomes an application that can make data collection easier with features for filling in, editing and deleting data, as well as managing existing data into new data in licensing activities. Enter data on students in the activity groups provided and make a list of activities for one period with columns in accordance with the standards in the Islamic boarding school

Abstract

Coronavirus infection is an acute respiratory. This disease can lead to severe complications, particularly in older individuals or those with chronic illnesses. To understand the patterns of common complications among patients, this study utilizes the FP-Growth algorithm to analyze the relationship between disease histories within a dataset. The algorithm was chosen for its efficiency in processing large-scale data and identifying frequent itemset patterns compared to other algorithms. Using RapidMiner Studio software, this study successfully identified associative rule patterns that serve as references for predicting and preventing disease complications caused virus in the future. The results demonstrate that this method provides fast and accurate outcomes, aiding in decision-making for treatment and prevention strategies.

Abstract

There are several references or assessments in determining the best customer service, including those based on customer service performance assessments, namely Cross Selling, Greeting Service Recovery, Grooming, and Discipline. In this study the authors used the ARAS method in selecting the best Customer Service. Use the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method where each criterion is compared to produce the best. The results of the study provide alternative A3 which is the alternative chosen to be the best alternative with a value of 0.2207.

Abstract

PT. Indoramah Abadi is a national plastic manufacturing company that focuses on the production of mineral water packaging. Because the amount of goods produced is quite large, the company has a large number of employees, including contract employees and permanent employees. However, the large number of employees can cause problems in determining which contract employees will be appointed as permanent employees. This problem occurs because the company does not have objective criteria in selecting permanent employees, causing jealousy among employees. In addition, the calculation process used is still manual and inaccurate, thus affecting employee performance. To overcome these problems, the authors conducted research using the MOORA method. This method is a method that can assist in making decisions by using complex mathematical calculations that can be used to solve problems in conflicting criteria, namely benefits and costs. The results of the study show that alternative A4 with a value of 0.2106 is the highest score. Therefore, it can be concluded that a contract employee named Aksa Alpindo deserves to be appointed as a permanent employee.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has changed many aspects of the data communication process, especially in cloud computing. Cloud computing or commonly known as cloud computing is now widely used. With the increase in cloud usage, there is a significant increase in traffic and causes a load imbalance between servers in the cloud environment. To overcome load imbalance on cloud servers, this research proposes the use of load balancing with a round robin method. Load balancing divides traffic equally between servers to prevent overload and system failure. The round robin algorithm ensures fair distribution by sending requests alternately to available servers. Testing shows a significant reduction in error rates when using load balancing. As many as 30 thousand users per second, the error dropped to 42.37%, 50 thousand users per second caused an error of 66.31%, and 100 thousand users per second resulted in an error of 63.08%. This indicates increased system scalability and ability to effectively handle surges in user requests. Overall, implementing load balancing using the round robin method is able to improve system performance in handling high traffic in a cloud environment, maintain stability, and minimize the risk of failure.
