Abstract

There is an increasing prevalence of Autism among Indonesian children. However, limited access, cost, and the lack of Indonesian-language screening tools present significant challenges for parents in the early detection of children with autism. A web-based digital system known as the "Sistem Skrining Anak Tangguh", has been developed in Indonesia. This system employs the M-CHAT-R/F (Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised with Follow-Up) method, which is a well-established tool for autism screening. The potential impact of this system is significant, as it could provide a comprehensive and efficient screening tool for autism in Indonesia. The system has been designed to offer all of its functions in Indonesian-language to increase accessibility and understanding among Indonesians. The system is accessible via web browser, enabling parents to conduct screening independently, at any time and from any location. However, a search for user documentation on the website has not yielded any results. The objective of this research project is to produce user documentation for the Sistem Skrining Anak Tangguh. The present user documentation is expected to engender a number of benefits. It is anticipated that an increase in the utilisation of the screening site will result in enhanced efficacy of its usage by users. This is expected to evolve into a comprehensive solution that will broaden the scope of early autism screening in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the various types of written communication tools is a letter, which is divided into official letters and non-official letters. Official letters are used for formal purposes. However, the process of letter administration in Kelurahan Bumiaji, Kabupaten Sragen is still done conventionally, where people who need a letter have to come to the Kelurahan office and queue, which makes the process ineffective. The letter archiving process carried out by the Kelurahan office is also poorly organized. To overcome this problem, in this study, an information system for letter service administration based on a website was created for the Kelurahan Bumiaji office. The method used to develop the system is the software development life cycle (SDLC), with a waterfall process model. The result of this research is the creation of an information system that can assist the community in obtaining the letters needed and assisting in mail services by the Kelurahan Bumiaji. In addition, this information system also displays information such as announcements from Kelurahan and assets owned by the Kelurahan to the public. Black box testing shows that the system can function as it should, and SUS testing obtained an average score of 77.4 and a grade scale B+.

Abstract

Open-source software (OSS) projects have taken the software development industry rapidly by encouraging cooperation, creativity, and knowledge exchange. However, despite the widespread adoption and success of OSS, there is limited understanding of how contributions are distributed across different types of activities, such as code, documentation, and issue triage, and how these contributions vary over time within different OSS ecosystems. This gap in knowledge can impact effective project management and community engagement strategies. To address this problem, we aim to look into the patterns of developer contributions within the three main OSS ecosystems hosted on GitHub, namely NuGet, PyPI, and NPM. We examine the distribution of type-based contribution and the trends of developer activities within these ecosystems. We classify contributions into code, documentation, and issue triage using a mixed-methods approach that combines content analysis and time-series analysis, and we analyze the timeline variations in contribution trends. Our results show differences in pull request activity and developer contribution patterns between ecosystems. The ‘npm-expansion’ repository leads in open pull requests, while the ‘warehouse’ repository in PyPI dominates closed pull requests. The NPM ecosystem shows the highest number of activities when it comes to open pull requests. Notable peaks can be seen in trends in code development and maintenance activities, indicating the changing priorities of various projects. The findings shed light on the changes of OSS contributions and highlight the value of varied roles and ongoing community involvement. The comprehension of contribution patterns in open-source software projects is improved by this study, which also provides guidance for project management, resource allocation, and community support strategies. The knowledge acquired can direct the creation of instruments and systems that support more cooperative and productive open-source software ecosystems.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to new learning models at universities, posing challenges for educators and students. This situation will likely have an impact on the mental health of most students due to the lack of face-to-face interaction when distance learning is implemented. While social distancing is critical to reducing new cases of COVID-19, implementing new learning models at universities presents significant challenges. This study aims to categorize student interests in discussion room applications by applying machine learning model. The machine learning models employed include Random Forest, Naive Bayes, XGBoost, CatBoost, and LightGBM. The procedure of this research consists of several steps, starting from data collection, data preprocessing, classification, model evaluation, model testing, and deployment. The result shows that Random Forest has performed the best in this classification task compared to other four models. The testing result of the system shows that the recommended academic interest tags are mostly relevant to user preferences, accounting for 71.24%. In addition, this finding offers insights into addressing the pandemics impact on students and highlights technologys potential to improve the educational experience, emphasizing the need for increased mental health resources

Abstract

Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a subclass of mobile ad hoc network (MANET), in which it is used to support intelligent transportation system. Generally, the main problem in VANET is in routing protocol. This is a challenging task due to the fact that moving object with certain direction and speed always changes the network topology quickly. Some routing protocols actually have been proposed to deal with routing complexity. In this paper we proposed new approach which was combining the existing routing protocol in order to reduce the dropping package in dynamic environment. By combining mobile infrastructure base routing (MIBR) and advertisement routing, the packet loss could be reduced. MIBR used certain type of vehicle on the road as the priority of routing hop. While, placing fixed wireless infrastructure in the roadside (RSU) would be helpful in case of traffic jam, since it could forward the package to the most far targeted vehicle when other vehicle hop experiences stuck.

Abstract

Cholesterol is a soft, yellow, and fatty substance produced by the body, mainly in the liver. Every day, liver produces about 800 milligrams of cholesterol which is derived from animal products, seafood, milk, and dairy products. At normal levels, cholesterol is useful for health, because it is one of the essential fats required by the body for cell formation. Meanwhile, cholesterol levels are classified into three categories: normal, high, and low. The cholesterol levels can be affected by several factors that are sometimes not widely known by common people. The objective of this study was to determine the level of significance of each factor that affects cholesterol levels and to find the value of accuracy, precision and recall of the algorithms used in decision tree induction. The selection criterions used were the information gain, gini index and gain ratio to find the level of significance of the factors that affect cholesterol levels. Variables that affect cholesterol levels divided into four types, namely gender, age, history of smoking, and history of diabetes. The result showed that the most influence factors on cholesterol levels based on training data processed using three algorithms was the history of diabetes. Meanwhile, the highest accuracy was obtained by the information gain which was 56.14%. The recall values were distributed evenly for all three algorithms, it indicated the equality of those three algorithms. The information gain and the gain ratio had equal precision values (57.58%), however, they had higher precision in compared with the gini index. In contrast, the gain ratio was higher than the information gain and the gini index concerning with the RMSE of 0.564.

Abstract

The demand for stable Wi-Fi access continues to rise, but changes in room layouts often lead to degraded signal quality, necessitating efficient detection solutions. This research aims to develop an Android-based application for three-dimensional (3D) Wi-Fi signal mapping, leveraging smartphones as affordable devices to identify problematic areas. The software development employed the Agile methodology, with key features including 3D grid clustering, color-based visualization according to signal strength (-30 dBm to -100 dBm), and multi-SSID support. Evaluation was conducted in two stages: functional testing using the Black Box Testing method, and usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument. Evaluation results showed a usability score of 77.22 (categorized as "Good"), with 44.4% of users willing to recommend the application. This application proved effective for rapid mapping in various environments, particularly in multi-story buildings and for incidental events, offering advantages such as low cost, an intuitive interface, and comprehensive spatial visualization.
