Abstract

Gout is a disease that often occurs around us, but many are not aware of the symptoms of the disease and how to detect it, one way to diagnose is using an expert system, in the process of diagnosing using methods, there are many methods to determine the accuracy of the results of the diagnosis One of the methods used is the certainty factor and the Bayes theorem, so many are confused about which method to use to carry out the diagnosis process. So we need a process of comparing methods with the intention of knowing which method is more effective, with a fast and precise calculation process so as to present better and more accurate results, the comparison process will apply the exponential comparison method by assessing the level of processing difficulty, processing time, and probability results so that it can be known which method is right for the diagnostic process. Based on the results of the comparison using the exponential comparison method, the certainty factor method gets a result of 14 while the Bayes theorem method gets 3. By looking at the value of this comparison, it can be said that the certainty factor method is the right method for diagnosing gout.

Abstract

Pneumonia is a disease that causes death in children because the body's defense system is relatively low. At this time people do not really care about pneumonia because this pneumonia has symptoms that are almost the same as coughing. This happens because of the weak knowledge of parents about pneumonia. Fast and precise information and prevention from a health expert are needed by parents about the symptoms of pneumonia and how to treat it early. One alternative that the author can do for the problems that have been described, the authors make a comparison between the certainty factor method and the Bayes theorem to find the certainty value of the symptoms suffered by the patient, which will later be analyzed for the accuracy of each method. Where this study provides solutions and prevention methods so that parents can quickly find out the symptoms suffered by children so that they are not diagnosed with pneumonia. Based on the final results of the research conducted by the author of the comparison method by applying the exponential comparison method, which resulted in the certainty factor method being the most appropriate method and the highest level of accuracy for diagnosing pneumonia in children, the final result of the comparison was 14 with a diagnosis result of 99.03%. , while the Bayes theorem method the final result of the comparison is 3 with a diagnostic result of 72.38%.

Abstract

The head foreman is someone who works in the construction field who will have expertise in leading several jobs at a particular company when working on a project he is responsible for all activities in the field of work. The existence of the foreman is very helpful for other employees in carrying out the tasks that must be done in order to achieve company goals. Problems that often occur during the selection of the head foreman at PT. The PP of the Lau Simeme Dam Project is still subjective and does not match the position so that PT. The PP of the Lau Simeme Dam Project has not increased and is not being driven forward, of course it will have an impact on other operations. This is certainly not very good because it affects the smooth operation of PT. The PP Lau Simeme Dam Project and the objectives are not correct. Therefore we need a decision support system to uphold objectivity in the process of selecting the chief foreman. In a decision support system, the MOORA method can be applied which is able to produce the best decision and several alternatives are inputted. To overcome the selection of the head foreman, the method used is the implementation of the MOORA method. This method can filter the best alternatives because the MOORA method is able to determine goals based on conflicting criteria, so the use of this method is appropriate to solve this problem.

Abstract

With the development and advancement of technology, it is something that we should be grateful for, but there are many things that must be considered, one of which is the full storage memory, and also the slow file transfer process so that it takes quite a long time. Data compression (data utilization) is a technique to reduce the amount of data size (compression result) from the original data. To solve this problem, it is recommended to compress video files with the appropriate algorithm in order to get optimal results. The analysis is carried out in comparing the process of how the Huffman algorithm works and the Rice Code algorithm using the exponential method. To compress video files on both algorithms will be measured using the parameters Ratio Of Compression, Compression Ratio, Redundancy, Space Caving, and Time Compression. the file to be compressed is a video file with MP4 format. Video file compression is a process to remove various redundancies from the bit set in a video file so that the size becomes smaller. In the comparison of the two Huffman algorithms with Rice Code, both have a type of lossless compression algorithm, which is a type of compression that can be decompressed and the results obtained from the comparison of the two algorithms, that the Rice Code algorithm is superior to Huffman.

Abstract

As the development of the world of technology is increasingly sophisticated and widespread in obtaining information quickly. Various kinds of technological facilities continue to be developed so that every human being can exchange information properly, especially in sending data such as video files, but large video files can cause problems in storage space and slow down when they want to send video file data. Therefore, a solution is needed to save storage media space and reduce the size of the data stored, reduce memory usage and file size without affecting the information in the file can be overcome by compression. Video compression is a data compression process that is carried out on video files with the aim of reducing video files so that they can be stored or sent quickly and efficiently. In the comparison of the two Prefix Code algorithms with the Run Length Encoding algorithm, both have a lossless compression algorithm, which is a type of compression that can be decompressed and after testing, the results obtained from the comparison of the two algorithms, that the Prefix Code algorithm is better than the Run Length Encoding algorithm. based on the bit size of the file after compression

Abstract

Dagang Kerawan Village, located in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, has various Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) whose products have been marketed to the public. Products produced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from the people of Dagang Kerawan Village actually have the potential to be marketed overseas. One of the competencies needed to market SME products to various countries is the ability to communicate in English. The English Camp activity will deliver special materials that will help village officials and the UKM village community to welcome and communicate with guests who come from abroad. The material will be packaged in the form of Coversation (Conversation) to make it easier for participants to understand. Abstract

The best employee is someone who really has a big influence on the development and progress of the company, because a company really needs employees who have high loyalty and the ability to improve the progress of a company or forum. A company or forum cannot run well if there is no employee, because the progress of a company depends on these human resources. However, when determining the best employees, fraud often occurs because the determination of the best employees is still done manually which will later lead to a subjective element so that in determining the best employees based on performance there are 4 criteria including Discipline, Cooperation, Work Period, and Skills. So with this it is very necessary to have a decision support system in solving problems with the TOPSIS method which will later produce preference values ​​from alternatives and predetermined criteria. The final result is obtained by using the TOPSIS method where the highest alternative is A5 by obtaining a value of 0.9659 on behalf of Reza Yunanda Lubis. The method is also a very simple method and is also highly recognized as a very precise and accurate decision-making alternative

Abstract

Voting Committee is a committee formed by Regency/Municipal KPU/KIP to carry out General Elections (elections) in other villages or sub-districts. The committee is a group of people appointed or elected to consider or take care of matters assigned to the group. General elections in a village become an activity that must be carried out every year that has been determined, where the community will vote to choose who deserves to be a leader through ballots (Balot). In the general election (Pemilu) a committee is needed to carry out the voting called (PPS). This Voting Committee (PPS) will help the community to carry out the general election process later at every level in accordance with the rules made. To choose the committee an Alternative and certain criteria. In this case the Siregar village head has the opportunity to recommend candidates who will become the voting committee who will serve in the village, but the lack of understanding of knowledge about what criteria must be owned by the voting committee makes it often wrong to recommend PPS candidates, and still manually process data from candidates to be recommended so that it takes a long time. Therefore a system is needed using certain methods to solve these problems, in this case the author uses a Decision Support System with the Multiobjective Optimization method on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA) because it can determine criteria that meet the requirements and deserves to be recommended this method is also considered capable of solving the problem because with this system an appropriate and accurate decision can be taken/drawn. Suara (PPS), which is the first alternative with the name Rohani Butar-Butar, is the best alternative with a total value of 4,812

Abstract

Banyak penelitian dilakukan terhadap objek berupa citra, yang mana informasi atau knowledge yang didapat dari citra tersebut dapat memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat bagi dunia pendidikan, inovasi teknologi dan pengelolaan informasi. Pengelolaan citra tidak terlepas dari komputer, sehingga memcu perusahaan-perusahaan komputer untuk meningkatkan kualitas dalam pembuatan perangkat lunak untuk mengolah citra dengan memberikan efek transfaransi pada citra. Maka didalam pembuatan skripsi ini dibahas tentang pengenalan gimmick wajah agar mudah dikenali.Gimmick yaitu bentuk wajah yang mengungkapkan gaya. Wajah merupakan bagian depan dari kepala yang meliputi daerah dari dahi hingga dagu, termasuk juga rambut, dahi, alis, mata, hidung, pipi, mulut, bibir, gigi, dagu dan kulit. Wajah digunakan untuk menunjukkan sikap seseorang terhadap ekspresi wajah, penampilan, serta identitas dari seseorang. Tidak ada satu pun wajah yang sama atau serupa mutlak, bahkan pada manusia kembar sekalipun. Gimmick pada wajah seseorang bisa saja tidak mudah diketahui bahwa wajah tersebut sudah dibuat rekayasa, baik dari segi tampilan wajah maupun gerak­-geriknya. Gimmick wajah sangat berpengaruh pada pengolahan citra agar dapat mempermudah dalam proses pengenalan gimmick wajah seseorang, maka dilakukan proses pengenalan dengan cepat, tepat serta efisien.
