Abstract

An expert system is a technique of artificial intelligence that uses certainty techniques to solve problems. There are several techniques that can be used to solve the problem of uncertainty, including the certainty factor method and the mathematical theory of Dempster Shafer. Both methods and techniques can be applied to solve expert system problems. However, each method has advantages and disadvantages in determining the diagnosis. In the expert system, there are 2 values ​​used for the diagnosis process, including the expert value taken from the expert hypothesis and the user value or evidence which is the value obtained based on the facts of an event. Dempster Shafer theory can only use the evidence value in determining the density value, while the certainty factor method can use evidence and hypothesis values. Thus, the combination made to overcome the weakness of one method by using the advantages of the other method is expected to produce a better certainty value.

Abstract

Penyakit Bell’s palsy adalah disfungsi nervus facialis, saat saraf berjalan di dalam canalis facialis, kelainan ini biasanya unilateral. Letak disfungsi menentukan aspek fungsional nervus facialis yang tidak bekerja. Pembengkakan saraf di dalam canalis facialis menekan serabut-serabut saraf, keadaan ini menyebabkan hilangnya fungsi saraf sementara dan menimbulkan tipe paralisis facialis lower motor neuron.  Sistem pakar bukanlah untuk menggantikan fungsi dokter, akan tetapi hanya digunakan sebagai pelengkap dan alat bantu. Sistem pakar adalah sistem berbasis komputer yang menggunakan pengetahuan, faktadan teknik penalaran dalam memecahkan masalah yang biasanya hanya dapat dipecahkan oleh seorang pakarhanya dalam bidang tertentu. Metode yang digunakan pada sistem pakar ini menggunakan teori dempster-shafer, karena metode ketidakpastian ini menghasilkan gambaran kemungkinan sebuah jawaban, dan hanya ada satu yang akan sesuai dengan jawaban yang dibutuhkan, dan teori ini tingkat kepercayaannya didapat dari suatu gejala dari masalah tersebut.

Abstract

Research conducted by students or lecturers is a form of creativity and also a sense of sharing knowledge and experience with others. Research for a lecturer or lecturer is something that must be done by the lecturer because it is part of the lecturer's duties. Research for students is a step that must be carried out by every student at the time of completing studies in each study program that is being carried out. The form of research produced by students and lecturers is in the form of scientific articles. Scientific articles which are the result of research by lecturers and students will be published in certain journals depending on the researcher. Before the research of lecturers and students is published in a journal, the article needs to be checked first to avoid plagiarism in the research. Budi Darma University always has problems with that checking every article being researched by lecturers and students. This study will discuss how the processes and stages are carried out in checking lecturers and students. This research will produce an application that can be used by Budi Darma University in checking scientific articles. The results of checking plagiarism with the Turbo Boyer algorithm can detect more than 75%

Abstract

Warehouse staff is a job related to the storage of goods for production or production. Therefore, the person who occupies the position is required to have certain criteria. However, during this time, the warehouse head of PT. Royal Abadi Sejahtera has experienced difficulties in the process of accepting warehouse staff, because there are many applicants who come to apply and do not meet the expected criteria. The problem faced in this research is that the company is still doing the selection by looking at prospective staff willing to work, the work does not only require a level of willingness to work, but has skills, education, work experience, attitude in work and good communication. Decision Support System is a system that is used to assist in the decision-making process in an organization. In the process the Decision Support System uses several methods used in the decision-making process and one of them is the MOORA (Multi Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method and the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) method for the weighting process. The benefits that the author wants to achieve in this study are to assist the company in facilitating the process of accepting warehouse staff as input for companies in making decisions using a decision support system to provide a more objective assessment resulting from the Decision Support System.

Abstract

This study examines the selection of Generation Planning Ambassadors (GenRe) subjectively assessed so that there are several candidates who have the same weighting criteria values, making it difficult for the committee to determine which one is the best. Generation Planning (GenRe) in Pangakalan Koto Baru District by using a decision support system by applying the profile matching method. The final result of the research will be able to simplify the work of the selection process for the Generation Planned Ambassador (GenRe). This method compares the actual data value of a profile to be assessed with the expected profile value, so that the difference in competence (GAP), the smaller (GAP) ) is generated, the greater the value weight, which means it has a greater chance of being recommended for selection. There are 5 (five) criteria used for this calculation, namely Public Speaking, English, Insight, Attitude, and Initiative. The results of this study were carried out by assessing based on ranking using the Profile Matching method, from the 9 (nine) prospective ambassadors there were 2 (two) male ambassador candidates and 7 (Seven) female ambassador candidates. Of the male ambassador candidates, the highest score was Fadlan Ikhsan with a score of 4.48 and the lowest was Rafli Jasna Aziz with a score of 3.48. And for female ambassador candidates with the highest score is Syakina Aulia with a score of 5 and the lowest score is Gisti Rahmatika with a score of 3.5. The results of the ranking of the planned generation of ambassadors are seen from the highest score

Abstract

PT. Mitra Tunggal Perkasa is a distributor company engaged in the marketing of goods sales, the goods sold or marketed are heavy equipment types such as the Shark Komprssor machine. Maintenance on the compressor machine is usually carried out by a technician, in which case PT. Mitra Tunggal Perkasa selects the best technicians and also rewards technicians who will be the best alternative. The selection of the best compressor technician is done to help improve the technician's work power so that it becomes even better than the previous one. To assist the determination or selection in determining someone who deserves to be the best compressor engine technician, a decision support system is needed, and there are lots of criteria that every technician must have as a condition to become the best compressor engine technician. In this study, a case will be raised, namely looking for the best alternative based on predetermined criteria by applying the Profile Matching method. This method compares the actual data value of a profile to be assessed with the expected profile value, so that the difference in competence (GAP) can be seen. selected alternative, so that it can be used by each party in supporting the progress of the organization or company in achieving its goals through making the best decisions. The result of the Decision Support System for the Selection of the Best Mechanical Technician at PT. Mitra Tunggal Perkasa is alternative A2 with a value of 4,755 in the name of "Satish Kumar".

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today is very possible for the occurrence of various forgeries and frauds that are carried out to take profits unilaterally. One of them is the falsification of a certificate of appreciation that canbe easily carried out by irresponsible parties. An award certificate is an important file that proves theachievements of a person in a particular activity or competition. This is what gives rise to a lot of people who tryto forge certificates of appreciation for their personal interests, both work and education. Therefore, a system isneeded to test the authenticity of the award charter. With a series of testing steps carried out, it can be concludedwhether the award certificate is authentic or not. To avoid falsification of document files, it is necessary to applya digital signature with a cryptographic method. Digital signatures or better known as digital signatures can helptest the authentication of a document, especially a certificate of appreciation. When the digital signature has beenapplied to the award certificate, the award recipient can check whether the file is authentic or has been modified.The application of digital signatures goes through 2 stages, namely the signing and verification process. Signingis the stage of forming a digital signature by combining the SHA-3 and ElGamal algorithms. The authenticity ofthe file can be seen by carrying out the verification process, which is the process of comparing the hash value ofthe received file with the actual file hash value. This research produces an analyzation about process ofauthentication using digital signature.

Abstract

Information technology plays an important role in improving the quality of institutions/companies. The development of information technology today is not only used in large organizations, but is also used by all sectors of society to support business or manage business. The increase in market business, especially car rental, is due to the high mobility of people in traveling by car. Rama Rent Car is a service that provides car rental/rental. At this time, business processes, transactions and storage still use conventional/manual systems, where the recording of all data processing processes is still using books. The purpose of this research is to create an android-based car rental/rental application that can help simplify all data processing processes contained in Rama Rent Car with a digital platform. This research uses MDLC method which starts from concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing, to distribution. This android-based car rental application consists of several menus/features, namely, login menu, list menu, menu list,menu history transaction, and car menu. Tenants can borrow cars in the car menu, and can make transactions in themenu history transaction. Testing this car rental application usertesting blackbox to test whether this application is in accordance with what the user expects or not.. So, this android-based car rental application is suitable to be used to help the car loan process at Rama RentCar

Abstract

The Department.of.Population and Civil Registration (DISDUKCAPIL) of Medan City is one of the agencies that work in the field of community data. The Department of Population and Civil Registration has developed inthe field of technology, namely the application of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK). ThePopulation Administration Information System (SIAK) is one of the application software that plays an importantrole in population data collection, especially in one of the cities in North Sumatra, namely Medan City. Thisapplication is equipped with procedures and is accompanied by special standards according to the rules of thegovernment of the Republic of Indonesia. This research is entitled "Analysis of the Success of the Application ofPopulation Administration Information Systems". The.purpose.of.this study was to determine the level ofsuccess of the application of the Population Administration Information System in Medan City and to find outwhich variables were very influential in the success of SIAK. In this study, the method used by the researcher is the DeLone and McClean model using the variables of System Quality, Information Quality, UserSatisfaction and Net Benefits. From the results of thestudy, it can be seen that the application of the PopulationAdministration Information System (SIAK) carried out by the Department of Population and Civil Registrationof Medan City is in accordance with applicable rules and policies, butin practice there are still someproblems.[1]

Abstract

Graphic designer recruitment problem is faced by SS Embroidery, that is, according to several different criteria and different evaluation weights, it is difficult to make a decision to determine the graphic designer problem when the evaluation process is objective, which leads to the final decision. Therefore, to overcome the problems faced by companies in SS embroidery, a decision support system is needed to select prospective graphic designers. When choosing a method, it is necessary to use the additive ratio assessment method (ARAS). The system will obtain a ranking decision based on each alternative choice based on a number of predetermined criteria. The alternative with the most weights is the recommended alternative. To realize the decision support system, a decision support system application program is designed. Designed using the Visual Basic 2008 application, which is designed only for user convenience, through the application of this decision support system, it is expected to facilitate the recruitment of prospective graphic designers at SS Embroidery so that the selection of graphic designers is expected to get the best results from the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. It is hoped that the ARAS method can provide assistance to the company in determining the recruitment of graphic designers. The results of the Decision Support System for the recruitment of graphic designers are Alternative A6 with a value of 1,307 on behalf of "Setiawan".
