This study aims to reveal how satirical political communication by three kinds of social media accounts that have a large followers in Indonesia in the theme of the 2019 Presidential Election. Using Van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis model, this study uncovered the discourse that underlies criticism of candidates for presidential and vice-presidential candidates 2019 on Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. The research found Prabowo vs. Jokowi’s rap battle by skinnyindonesia24, nurhadi_aldo’s Instagram account, and #2019GantiPresiden as the most prominent accounts that distributed satire political communication. The owner of a social media account produces messages based on a lively and controversial issue on social media. Account #2019GantiPresiden even tends to criticize incumbent candidates because they see that the mainstream media does not do its role. Nurhadi_aldo’s account manager sees sharp polarization between supporters of two pairs and tends to criticize controversial incumbent candidate programs. Skinnyindonesia24 reduces the polarization that is getting stronger by more balanced criticizing the competition of two presidential candidates through rap music. This study convinces that the nature of satirical political communication work efficiently because the content does not cross agreed-upon political boundaries and cultural spaces.

Colonialism is closely related to monological, stereotypical, and hegemonic communication patterns. This implies a superior and inferior dichotomy between colonizer and colonized. The colonized nation which was labeled inferior in the end tended to imitate (mimicry) the colonizer, who claimed to be superior. One of the efforts made by Soekarno to counter this was by using the principle of non-cooperation. As a principle, non-cooperation is used to generate the nation's independence, self-confidence and national identity. This study uses hermeneutic analysis to explore a more comprehensive meaning of the non-cooperation principle. The main focus of this research is to find out the authentic values which are the result of applying the principle of non-cooperation. The results of this study indicate that non-cooperation does not only revolve around reluctance to cooperate, mass action, and revolution. Soekarno used the principle of non-cooperation as a form of communication to construct alternative narratives that could be used against colonialism. In the end, non-cooperation also grows the seeds of the formulation of a national personality that can be used as a guideline for shaping national identity. Keywords: Colonialisme, Soekarno, Non-Cooperation, Hegemony, National IdenityDOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/nomosleca.v7i1.5336

The fundamental value of democracy is civil liberties to express an opinion, assembly, and organization. Data from various institutions observing Indonesian democracy show that since Jokowi's leadership, Indonesia has had problems with civil liberties, from previously free to partly free, thus falling into the flawed category of democracy. The decline in civil liberties was triggered by the Jokowi administration's repressive political communications manifested in the form of repressive legal products. These repressive legal products are used to suppress critical opposition groups who are at odds with the Jokowi administration. This study uses a critical paradigm based on qualitative methods that utilize the theory of Political Discourse Analysis (PDA). The research objective is to reveal the various repressive legal products of the Jokowi administration as well as to explain the context, history, power, and ideology behind the production of these repressive laws. The object of study related to repressive legal products is limited to online news published by media verified by the Press Council. The results of the study concluded that the Jokowi administration presented repressive legal products to perpetuate power and smooth the implementation of capitalist neoliberal ideology.

The use of new media in Indonesia significanty grows, especially among the youth generation. Unfortunately, it does not happen in the youth community organization. This study aims to determine the factors that become obstacles for youth community organizations in managing new media for the benefit of the organization. This research is a mixed method by using survey data collection techniques to identify the level of use of new media in each organization and focus group discussion (FGD) to obtain more in-depth data about the problems that become obstacles in its management. This study succeeded in digging data from 15 youth community organizations in the City of Kediri. This research succeeded in mapping the problems experienced by CSOs in utilizing the internet and its interactive platforms. Based on a survey conducted on 15 CSOs, it was found that the main problem faced was the unavailability of qualified human resources in CSOs that were specifically tasked with managing CSO social media accounts. This is also due to the low awareness of CSOs about the potential of the internet and new media 3.0 to treat their political audience. Furthermore, another obstacle faced is the difficulty in producing content. Based on the focus group discussion conducted to follow up on the results, the researcher concluded the two conditions above because CSOs do not have sufficient awareness and knowledge of the potential of the use of the internet and all its interactive platforms for political communication. The conclusion of this study is that the management of new media for organizations has not been taken seriously because of the low level of awareness of the importance of new media for organizational development. However, the design of the digital storytelling concept in order to create a sanse of belongings for the political audience of each community organization is seen as an alternative management solution after the appointment of manager responsibility.
