Abstract

This study aims to describe online learning constraints faced by 2017 geography education students in the Covid-19 vigilance period. This type of research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were 2017 geography education students. Data collection techniques used were interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Geography education students 2017 experience online learning constraints in the form of (1) geographical constraints, students live in areas that have a bad internet network, (2) economic constraints, students have financial difficulties to buy internet data packages, (3) learning facilities, students do not have enough memory cards to download online learning applications, (4) constraints to understanding the material, students have difficulty understanding the subject matter in online learning asynchronous type, (5) constraints on technology use, poor internet network and (6) the task load constraints, students do not have enough time to do a lot of assignments and a bad internet network so students have difficulty sending assignments to their lecturer.

Abstract

Profil guru adalah gambaran personal guru sebagai pendidik professional. Hal yang akan diteliti mengenai jenjang pendidikan, sertifikasi, pengalaman mengajar, capaian dan prestasi guru dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai pendidik profesional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis profil dan identitas umum, pengembangan diri yang diikuti, publikasi ilmiah yang dipublikasikan serta karya inovatif yang dihasilkan oleh guru geografi Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri di Kabupaten Limapuluhkota yang berjumlah 30 orang dalam rentang waktu tahun 2013-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan (1) Persentase mayoritas profil dan identitas umum guru geografi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Limapuluhkota yaitu berstatus kepegawaian Non PNS(63%), belum memiliki pangkat/golongan(63%), mayoritas guru pangkat/golongan Pembina/IVa(17%), Pendidikan terakhir S1(97%), Lama pengalaman mengajar rentang waktu 0-5(54%), Guru belum sertifikasi(70%) mayoritas tahun sertifikasi 2010 dan 2015. (2) Persentase guru yang mengikuti kegiatan pengembangan diri rendah yang terdiri dari pendidikan pasca sertifikasi(30%), kegiatan pelatihan(33%), kegiatan sebagai narasumber/pembicara(7%), kegiatan seminar/lokakarya(37%). (3) Persentase guru yang mempublikasikan karya ilmiah dibidang pendidikan rendah yaitu publikasi karya tulis ilmiah(3%), publikasi artikel populer(0%) serta publikasi buku teks/modul(3%). (4) Karya inovatif guru rendah yaitu memiliki persentase 3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the aspects of learning activities and student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with a design using a control group without a pretest. The study population was all students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 8 Padang, totaling 141 students. Samples were selected randomly. The class chosen to be the control class was class XI IPS 2 and the experimental class was XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 8 Padang. In this study, the following results were found. 1) the EXO OLO Task-based Flipped Classroom learning method which is applied to geography learning, especially the material of Indonesia's Strategic Position as a World Maritime Axis in the experimental class is proven to have a significant difference in value with the control class which is not given special behavior based on the results of different tests using the t-test. the value of tcount = 4.302 with a significant level of 5% then the value of t table = t (0.05 / 2, 61) = 1.9992 so it can be concluded that the value of tcount> ttable, so Ho is rejected. 2) In this study, both the control class and the experimental class were dominated by working on the questions independently. 3) The learning resources used by students are dominated by the internet, by accessing them via smartphones. 4) The quality of the network that influences the learning process does not change from the first meeting to the third meeting in both the control and experimental classes, with the highest percentage of network quality in the control class which is stable and the experimental class is dominated by less stable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Flipeed Classroom and the Jumping Task is reviewed from the aspect of learning outcomes. This type of research is classified in experimental research, This research aims to assess the effect of an educational treatment or action on a student's behavior about the or whether or not the effect of that action when we compare it to other actions.The subjects of this study were students of class IX IPS at SMA 15 Padang. The data collection techniques used were observation and simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the average results of final test study (Postest), amounted to 83.47 for experiment classes and 77.74 for control classes. Based on the test t use SPSS software for pretest with α = 0.05 if the sig value is 199 > 0.05 then there is no significant difference. For (Postest) otherwise if signification 0.00 < α = 0.05 then there is a significant difference. So this learning model can be applied in improving students' learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to look at the Selection of Specialization and interest of the interest by students in SMA Negeri 1 and 5 in Bukittinggi City. His type of research is classified as a qualitative descriptive the population of this study were curriculum representative, teachers geographers, counseling teachers, and students at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi and SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. Data collection used documentary observations, and interviews, while data analysis used field notes, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of this study are 1) The procedure for selecting interests and cross interest at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi uses a system with learning outcomes and national examination scores whilein junior high school, While for SMAN 5 Bukittinggi it uses several steps such as filling out a questionnaire, psychological test and maintest, instructur from counseling teachers, and results. Student learning and national examination scores during junior high school for cross interest geography was not available in both schools due to already exceeding teacher hour and a lack of teachers to teach, 2) The role of students in the selection of interests and interests in SMAN 1 and SMAN 5 Bukittinggi city according to the fields and interests of each of the students themselves, 3) The role of geography and BK teachers in SMAN 1 Bukittinggi with on student learning outcomes and national examination scores during junior high school, while SMAN 5 Bukittinggi plays a major role in the selection of interests and cross intetrests using four system. Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the development of performance based on research and scientific publications conducted 2) the development of teacher performance based on self-development 3) the development of teacher performance based on the innovative work done. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all high school geography teachers in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The total population of this research is 18 teachers. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study found that 1) The general identity of high school geography teachers in Indragiri Hulu Regency for the last five years (2016-2020) has been good, seen from the latest education of all high school geography teachers who have met the predetermined criteria 2) Research and scientific publications of high school geography teachers in Indragiri Hulu Regency for the last five years (2016-2020) was classified as very low because of the three indicators discussed, 50% of the teachers were involved in research and scientific publications. 3) The self-development of high school geography teachers in Indragiri Hulu Regency is still low with a percentage of 24%. 4) The innovative work of the geography teacher Indragiri Hulu is still low because no teacher is involved in innovative

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Ketersediaan Sumber Belajar Daring Mata Pelajaran Geografi Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Negeri 8 Padang yang dibutuhkan guru maupun siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskritif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara yang dilakukan secara online dalam bentuk Google Form. Metode kualitatif sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang atau perilaku yang dapat diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 guru geografi dan 22 siswa SMA N 8 Padang. Kemudian teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang telah didapatkan adalah: 1) Terbatasnya ketersediaan sumber belajar daring yang diakomodir guru dalam memberikan sebuah pembelajaran daring sehingga banyak diantara siswa yang belum memahami pembelajarannya dengan seksama, 2) Sumber belajar daring yang diberikan dan dibutuhkan memudahkan siswa dalam proses belajar dan memiliki keluwesan atau fleksibilitas diantaranya seperti WA, Google Classroom, ataupun Google Meet yang sudah berjalan dengan baik untuk mendukung upaya pembelajaran daring di SMA N 8 Padang, 3) Masih ditemuinya kendala teknis seperti sinyal, aksesibilitas dsb yang terkait pembelajaran daring di SMA N 8 Padang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) in the UNP geography education study program. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all geography tutors in PPLK july 2019 semester at pariaman city high school. The technique of sampling is total sampling. The data collection technique is a questionnaire with data collection tools, namely a questionnaire given to respondents. The result of this study can be concluded that (1) in this study it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program seen from the pedagogical competence is in the goog category with a score of 65,08. (2) in personality competence, it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the good category with a score of 37,25. (3) in social competence, it can be seen that the competency evaluation of students in the field experience of education (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the good category with a score of 48,25. (4) on professional competence, it can be seen that the evaluation of the competence of students iin the field experience practice (PPLK) of the UNP geography education study program is in the quite good category with a score of 26,75.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning geography during the Covid-19 pandemic, knowing the constraints of implementing geography learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, knowing the efforts of teachers in implementing geography learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri Kaba District Tanah Datar. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study approach method. Data collection techniques using the interview method (depth interview). The data collection tool used was the interview guide. The informants in this study were geography teachers at State Senior High Schools in Tanah Datar Regency. Data analysis techniques The analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions The results of this study reveal that, (1) the implementation of geography learning in Tanah Datar State Senior High School is not carried out in online and combined learning (online and offline) using the Video Conference platform (Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, etc.), WhatsApp ( Chat and Group), and Google Classroom, (2) some of the obstacles experienced by students in learning such as there are still students who do not have cellphones, disruption of the internet network, there are still students who have difficulty understanding lessons online compared to face-to-face and low disciplinary awareness of student interest in learning, (3) the teacher's efforts in overcoming these problems, namely providing computer laboratory facilities and Wifi networks, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and come to school to discuss and consult with teachers, and visit students directly or call students to school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe what are the obstacles for class XI IPS 1 students in implementing the recitation method for doing online assignments for geography lessons. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Data obtained from observations, interview and documentation. The subjects of this study were teachers of geography lessons and students of class XI IPS 1 with the technique of taking the subject using the Snowball Sampling Technique. Based on data analysis, it is known that the obstacles faced by students in doing online assignments using the recitation method are the limitations of students' internet quotas, sometimes a sudden power outage, and lack of understanding of students with learning materials. Efforts made include the teacher giving time for students who are constrained by the network, waiting for the PLN electricity light to turn on, and teachers must always motivate students to diligently read the material.
