Abstract

This e-module based on 3D Pageflip Professional can support and facilitate students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the quality of the E-module based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The method used is Research and Development (R & D) with a 4D model. This research was conducted in class VIII, namely Class VIII.1 and Class VIII.2, at SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Jaya. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, tests, and data analysis using descriptive analysis. The research results show that the validity determined through media expert validation reached 3.69 and material expert 3.77, obtaining valid criteria. The practicality is determined through learning implementation, reaching 90% with very good criteria, and student response reaching 87% with good criteria. The effectiveness is determined through student activity, reaching 89% with good criteria and student learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.8 with high N-Gain criteria. Based on the research results, the E-module based on 3D Pageflip Professional is suitable for use and meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of virtual laboratory-based interactive learning media through a differentiated approach can influence students' scientific literacy. The study was conducted on SMP Negeri 1 Tilango, Gorontalo district class VII students. This research uses a one-group pretest-post-test design. Based on the results of the T-Test, it was found that for the experimental class, the average ability of students to identify problems scientifically was 76.67%, the ability to explain scientific phenomena was 79.92%, and to draw conclusions based on scientific evidence was 70.49%. In the Replication class, the average ability of students to identify problems scientifically was 76.46%, the ability to explain scientific phenomena was 81.71%, and the ability to draw conclusions based on scientific evidence was 70.07%. An increase in students' scientific literacy was obtained using the N-Gain test, and the average results obtained in the experimental class were 0.85 (high) and the replication class 0.84 (high). This means that the students' scientific literacy skills in both the experimental and replication classes are in a good category, so it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory-based interactive learning media through a differentiated approach is effectively used as a learning media in science subjects, especially the material on substance and change.

Abstract

E-books are essential in developing 4C skills and differentiated learning because they offer accessibility and flexibility that support students' diverse learning styles. In addition, they allow customization of teaching materials according to students' needs, which increases motivation and learning independence. This research aims to develop an e-book based on 4C skills through a differentiated approach to valid, practical science learning. This study falls within the development research category that uses the ADDIE model. With an average validation score of 3.73, this e-book falls into the “very valid” category. In practical terms, this media is easy for teachers and students to use, fits the learning plan, and shows a learning implementation rate of 90%. Student responses were very good, with an average of 89.79% for four evaluation indicators, showing great benefits and a high level of satisfaction in the learning process. Overall, the e-book based on 4C developed through a differentiated approach to science learning can be categorized as valid and practical because it can increase student involvement in learning. In addition, interactive features in e-books support communication and collaboration between students, allowing them to share ideas and opinions. E-books also enable teachers to adapt material to individual needs so each student can learn at the pace and style they desire.
