Abstract

This research was took based on the low ability of Mathematical Problem Solving by students. The objective at this research was there were any impact teaching Models Discovery Learning Using Brainstorming Methods toward students’ ability in Mathematical Problem Solving at grade VIII SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau in academic years 2019/2020. The research method used is of pure experiments. The population in this experiment is all of Students grade  VIII SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau that consist of 73 students and the sample as exsperimental class was VIII.A and as the class control was VIII.B.In collecting the data the researcher used test. The data that was collected, it was analysed by z-test .The result showed that at level of sicnificances 𝛼 = 0,05, it can be concluded that there were impact teaching Models Discovery Learning Using Brainstorming Methods toward students’ ability in Mathematical Problem Solving at grade VIII SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau in academic years 2019/2020. The avarage of students’ score in Mathematical Problem Solvingability after being threated in the class experiment is 17,03 andcontrol class is 13,65Keywords : Discovery learning, Brainstorming, Mathematical problem solving

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di SMP di Muara Beliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa setelah implementasi model Problem Based Learning dengan teknik Scaffolding kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen semu yang dilaksanakan tanpa adanya kelompok pembanding. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti yang berjumlah 310 siswa. Sebagai sampel adalah kelas VII.3 dengan 35 siswa yang di ambil secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes berbentuk uraian. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti setelah mengikuti model Problem Based Learning dalam kategori baik. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 72,11, persentase jumlah siswa dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik sebesar 82,86%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model Using Brainstroming Methods Against the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model by using the Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is in the form of Experimental Design Tru. The population, all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau were 406 students and the sample was class VII.5 with 35 students as experimental class and VII.4 with 35 students as control class. Sampling is done randomly. Data collection in research using test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that There is an Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model by Using Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average value of the problem solving ability of the experimental class was 62.5 and the control class was 43.3.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is entitled "The Implementation of Problem Solving Model to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine the increase in students' problem solving abilities in learning mathematics after being applied using a problem solving model. The type of research used is Pre Experimental Design. The population of all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau totaling 248 students and as a sample of class VII.5 with 32 students, the sample was taken randomly. Data collection was carried out using test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level = 0.05. Based on the results of the final test data analysis it can be concluded that. There is an increase in the ability to solve math problems of VII graders of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau after applying the problem solving model. The average value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities is 28.24.

Abstract

Belajar matematika adalah belajar konsep-konsep matematika yang abstrak. Siswa SD pada umumnya berada pada tahap berpikir konkrit yang ditandai oleh penalaran logis tentang hal-hal yang dapat dijumpai dalam dunia nyata. Di samping itu, konsep matematika yang lebih tinggi daripada yang sudah dimiliki peserta didik, tidak dapat dikomunikasikan dengan definisi, tetapi perlu memberikan kepadanya contoh-contoh yang sesuai dengan materi pelajaran. Dengan contoh konkrit yang cocok dengan konsep yang diajarkan, dimaksudkan untuk menumbuhkan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. Guru memegang peranan yang penting dalam menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar. Disamping faktor-faktor lain, faktor guru inilah yang sering dianggap menjadi penyebab yang paling penting mengapa ada banyak siswa merasa takut atau memiliki minat rendah terhadap matematika. Oleh sebab itu, guru harus mengembangkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dalam mengajar matematika sehingga siswa menjadi berminat dan tertarik pada pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This research entitled “Comparison of Mathematics Learning Outcomes between of Cooperative Model Type Two Stay Two Stray and Make A Match in the Seventh Grade Students Junior High School Number 4 Lubuklinggau in the academic Year of 2012/2013”. The problem of this study was the following student learning outcomes of learning mathematics through cooperative model of Two Stay Two Stray significantly better learning outcomes than students who take mathematics learning through cooperative models Make A Match?. Research methods used are purely the type of comparative experiments. Its population is all students of the seventh grade students Junior High School Number 4 Lubuklinggau in the accademic year of 2012/2013, as the sample is class VII.A model of cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray and class VII.D given model of cooperative learning type Make A Match. Data collected by test techniques. Data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that learning outcomes of students who take mathematics learning through cooperative model of Two Stay Two Stray significantly better learning outcomes than students who take mathematics learning through cooperative models Make A Match. Average student learning outcomes Two Stay Two Stray class of 83,39 and Make A Match of 76,05.

Abstract

This research entitled "Effectiveness of Using Macromedia Flash in Learning Mathematics Grade Students XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau Academic Year of 2012/2013". The problems ofthis research are: (1) whether the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau academic year of 2012/2013 after participating in learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash completed? (2) how the response of students to wards learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash? (3) how the learning activities of students who take mathematics using Macromedia Flash? The research used a form of quasi-experiment conducted in the absence of a comparison class design withpre-test and post-test group. Its population is all students of class XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau academic Year of 2012/2013, which consists of 106 students and a sample is class XI IPS 3, amounting to 34 students. Data collection was done by using tests and non-test in the form of questionnaires and observation. Test data were analyzed using t-test at significance level α=0.05. Based on the data analysis it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash effective for use in teaching mathematics. Student learning outcomes after participating in learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash significantly due to an average value of 80.98 and the number of students who completed reaches 79.41%. Increasing student activity a teach meeting and the students gave a positive response.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between limb muscle explosive power and the long jump ability of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau students. This research is a correlational study. The population in this study was the 3rd semester of Physical Education and Health students in the 2020 Academic Year STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. The sample used is 30 students. The research method used is correlation, with data collection techniques using tests and measurements. The instrument for measuring the explosive power of the leg muscles uses the standing broud jump test and for the long jump ability using the long jump test. The data analysis technique uses normality, linearity, and product moment correlation tests using SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) for windows software. The results showed that: There was a significant relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the long jump ability of the Physical Education students at STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau, with the value of rcount = 0.544 > r table = 0.361. With the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the long jump ability of the 3rd semester physical education and health sector students in the 2020 Academic Year of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau, amounting to 29.6%. Then the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of zig-zag run and shuttle run training on the dribbling ability of soccer extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This study used an experimental method using two groups that received different treatments. Experimental group A with zigzag run treatment and experimental group B with shuttle run treatment. The population is all participants of the football extracurricular at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau totaling 20 people. The sampling technique was divided into two groups by simple random sampling. The research data collection used a soccer zig-zag dribbling test. The data analysis technique used the steps of normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The results of the pretest data analysis tcount < ttable that is 1.894 <2.82 and all data are homogeneous. It can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. The results of the post-test data analysis tcount > ttable that is 3.649> 2.82. The conclusion is that there is a significant difference in dribbling ability in soccer games between students who take part in the zig-zag run and shuttle run training in soccer extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau.
