Abstract

Di Thailand, negeri yang mayoritasnya beragama Budha aliran Teravada (agama resmi kerajaan), terdapat lebih dari 10% penduduk muslim dari seluruh populasi penduduk Thailand. Penduduk muslim Thailand sebagian besar berdomisili di bagian selatan Thailand, seperti di propinsi Pha Nga, Songkhla, Narathiwat dan sekitarnya yang dalam sejarahnya adalah bagian dari Daulah Islamiyyah Pattani. Dengan jumlah umat yang menjadi minoritas ini, walau menjadi agama kedua terbesar setelah Budha, umat Islam Thailand sering mendapat serangan dari umat Budha (umat Budha garis keras), intimidasi, bahkan pembunuhan masal. Pattani (patani) adalah nama sebuah “Muslim minoritas” yang mendiami empat wilayah selatan Thailand, yaitu Patani, Naratiwat, Satun, dan Jala. Masuknya agama Islam ke Selatan Thailand (Patani) tidak bisa dilepaskan dengan masuknya Islam ke Asia Tenggara. Rentetan penyiaran Islam di Nusantara ini merupakan satu kesatuan dari mata rantai peroses Islamisasi di Nusantara. Pendidikan Islam yang dijalankan di Thailand memiliki persamaan dengan pendidikan Islam yang ada di Indonesia. Seperti, di Thailand juga ada pondok dan madrasah yang mana sistem pendidikannya sama dengan yang ada di Indonesia. Perbedaannya terdapat pada jumlah mata pelajaran yang diujikan pada UN dan kewajiban mempelajari bahasa Thai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas dan mengkaji pemikiran Muhammad Abduh tentang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research, yang menggunakan data kepustakaan sebagai sumber. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan terdapat 7 (tujuh) point penting pemikiran M. Abduh yang terkait dengan pendidikan, yaitu ; (1) Pengertian pendidikan, pendidikan adalah sarana perubahan, (2) Tujuan pendidikan, adalah mendidik akal dan jiwa serta menyampaikan pada batas-batas kemungkinan seseorang mencapai kebahagiaan hidup dunia dan akhirat, (3) Kurikulum pendidikan, di mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar, menengah dan tingkat atas, (4) Metode pendidikan yang paling banyak beliau gunakan adalah diskusi dan keteladanan, (5) Sarana pendidikan, menurut Abduh sarana pendidikan adalah semua yang berguna untuk mempermudah tercapainya tujuannya pendidikan, (6) Pendidik, menurut Abduh perlu campur tangan pemerintah dalam mempersiapkan pendidik, (7) Pendidikan Wanita, menurut Abduh wanita berhak mendapatkan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss and examine the thoughts of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas about Islamic education. The method used is a literature study, which uses library data as a source. The results of the study reveal that there are 5 (five) important points of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas' thoughts related to education, namely: First, the purpose of education, namely to instill goodness or justice in humans as human beings and personal self which focuses on the formation of individual personalities and expects the formation of an ideal society, Second, Educational Methods, The method he mostly uses is Tawhid, Metaphors and Stories, Third, Educational Curriculum, is divided into Fardhu 'ain and fardhu kifayah, Fourth Educators, according to Al-attas Educators must have personality and manners Fifth, students, according to Al-Attas, students are required to develop perfect etiquette in science

Abstract

This scientific article explores the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at higher education institutions, focusing on the analysis of existing opportunities and challenges. This topic is crucial to study, not only because no one has done it before, but this study is a step to understand how technology can be effectively used in the context of islamic religious education at the higher education. On the other hand, this study is also conducted to identify potential areas for further research and the development of innovative solutions in addressing existing challenges. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through the interview process with lecturers and students, as well as literature studies through Syllabus, RPS, and PAI Teaching Materials. Additionally, a study of various supporting literature in the form of journals, books, and reports of other research results was also conducted. From the results of the study, four main opportunities were found to improve the quality of the implementation of religious education and character for students, namely more personal learning experiences, improved quality of materials, material improvement, and learning simulations. AI can facilitate a more adaptive and responsive learning experience to individual needs and allow for the development of richer and more in-depth materials. However, the implementation of AI also faces significant challenges, including ethical issues and religious sensitivity, resource availability, apathy and resistance to technology, and assurance of content quality.
