Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a table tennis refereeing pocket book that specifically discusses table tennis game rules, the functions and duties of the umpire and violations committed by players and coaches in table tennis games based on flipbooks as a guide and guide for the umpire in leading a match. The method used in this study is the ADDIE development model. The sample at the implementation stage consisted of 10 referees who did not have a license and 30 people consisting of referees, players and coaches, including 3 national referees and several national players and coaches. The data collection techniques are interviews, validation and questionnaires. Quantitative descriptive analysis techniques are used to process data in the form of numbers (scores) obtained through questionnaires. The results of the research at the implementation stage were carried out on a small-scale trial of 3.39 and a large-scale trial of 3.51 with a very feasible category. Flipbook-based table tennis refereeing pocket books are included in the very appropriate category, this is based on the assessment of 3 material experts with an average value of 3.73 and 1 media expert with a value of 3.41. Therefore the table tennis refereeing pocket book is very appropriate to use, practical and interesting as a guide for referees in increasing knowledge of table tennis game rules.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah peningkatan pukulan Top Spin melalui metode praktik lapangan dalam permainan tenis meja Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri Bulango Utara Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pukulan top spin pada permainan tenis meja siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. observasi awal atau pra siklus ketuntasan pukulan top spin dalam permainan tenis meja pada siswa SMP Negeri Bulango Utara Kabupaten Bone Bolango belum mencapai ketuntasan. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa belum adanya siswa yang belum memiliki kategori tuntas. Siklus I memiliki hasil hasil ketuntasan siswa mencapai 5 siswa dengan persentase 33,33%. Siklus II memiliki hasil hasil ketuntasan siswa mencapai 12 siswa dengan persentase 80%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode praktik lapangan, peningkatan pukulan top spin tenis meja dapat dilakukan untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Peneliti menganjurkan guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan untuk tidak ragu dalam menggunakan metode praktik lapangan dalam meningkatkan pukulan top spin tenis meja.

Abstract

Currently, Shorinji Kempo martial arts in Gorontalo are well-known among children, youth, adults to the elderly, many of them even take part in Shorinji Kempo training at dojos spread across Gorontalo Province. This study aims to find out how much interest students at MTs Al-Falah Pulubala District have in learning Shorinji Kempo. This research is a descriptive research using survey method. This research was conducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency. The population in this study were all students at MTs Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency, totaling 41 students. The sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with the requirements 1) being an active student, 2) being active in sports activities, 3) being willing to be a sample. Based on the purposive sampling technique, a total of 15 samples were obtained. The instrument in this study used a closed questionnaire whose validity had been measured. As a result, students' interest in Shorinji Kempo martial arts showed that the average student interest was 72.67% which indicated that out of 15 students, 10 students were interested in learning Shorinji Kempo martial arts and 2 students were very interested, and 2 students were less interested. Based on the results of the study entitled Survey of Interest in Studying Shorinji Kempo Self Defense for Students of MTs Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency, it was found that out of 10 students at MTs Al-Falah Pulubala had an interest in shorinji kempo martial arts.
