Abstract

Public Relation management plays an important role in building a sustainable reading culture in Islamic educational institutions. A strong reading culture is essential to improving the quality of education as it helps learners develop deep understanding, improve critical thinking skills and broaden their horizons. But in the digital era, many learners tend to be more interested in social media and digital entertainment than reading books or printed sources. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of effective public relations management that can help campaign for the importance of reading culture to all stakeholders. The Qur'an and Sunnah provide the foundation and guidelines in seeking knowledge and deep understanding. The results showed that PR management can design effective communication campaigns to motivate school members to be actively involved in reading activities. Public relations management plays an important role in fostering a sustainable reading culture and improving the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. To achieve this, schools must collaborate with stakeholders. A strong reading culture will influence learners' perceptions of learning, improve their critical thinking skills, and stimulate their interest in seeking knowledge. Thus, reading culture is one of the key elements in developing the quality of Islamic educational institutions

Abstract

Educational supervision is the main element in building the reputation and quality of education. This research aims to investigate whether educational supervision can serve as a vital instrument in maintaining accountability, enhancing the quality of learning, and preserving the reputation of educational institutions. This research employs a library research methodology. The findings of this study reveal the significant role of supervision in an educational context and outline several benefits it yields. Through the effective supervisory process, schools and educators can identify and address weaknesses in teaching methods, curriculum, and assessment. It not only improves the quality of education but also ensures compliance with national standards. Furthermore, educational supervision helps maintain a positive image of schools and educators, enhances customer satisfaction (students and parents), and makes a substantial contribution to building a strong reputation for education. Thus, educational supervision functions not only as a surveillance instrument but also as the key pillar in creating an outstanding and respected education system.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum dilakukan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, maka sangat penting dapat memahami dasar-dasar pengembangan kurikulum supaya dapat dijadikan pedoman pembelajaran pengajaran agama Islam sehingga perlu me-redesign kurikulum ke dalam struktur yang harmonis. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan studi kepustakaan, yang berarti mengumpulkan data dengan menekuni teori dari bermacam literatur terkait. Model Pendekatan kurikulum subjek akademik menggunakan pendekatan kurikulum yang lebih menitik beratkan terhadap aspek-aspek tertentu dari mata pelajaran atau materi. Sedangkan model konsep kurikulum humanistik lebih mencermati aspek manusia. Model Konsep kurikulum rekonstruksi sosial berfokus pada memecahkan kasus sosial di warga. Implementasi pendekatan subjek akademik, humanistik, dan rekonstruksi sosial dalam kemajuan serta pengembangan mutu Pendidikan Agama Islam bertujuan agar tercapainya pemahaman pendidikan agama Islam yang ideal dan secara komprehensif dalam mengembangkan bakat dan minat bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana supervisi manajerial terhadap guru dan kepala sekolah dilakukan di sekolah dari jenjang PAUD, SD, SMP, dan SMA/SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan studi tinjauan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengawasan sekolah sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kapasitas personil dan manajemen sekolah. Supervisor berperan dalam: (1) membantu perencanaan dan penyediaan sumber daya; (2) mengevaluasi kinerja dan kebutuhan guru; (3) mendukung lingkungan kerja sama yang positif; dan (4) melaporkan kemajuan guru. Supervisi manajerial yang baik sangat penting untuk peningkatan kinerja guru dan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peran supervisor dalam perencanaan, evaluasi, dukungan, dan pelaporan kemajuan guru sangat krusial dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Peran kepala madrasah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Mereka memainkan peran strategis dalam memastikan standar pendidikan sekolah ditegakkan. Pemimpin lembaga pendidikan harus memiliki keterampilan kepemimpinan yang efektif, menjadi sumber inspirasi, dan mendorong pertumbuhan mental dan moral bawahan mereka. Transformasi kepemimpinan mereka melampaui aturan tertulis, mencakup perilaku, karakter, dan kepemimpinan dengan memberi contoh. Pemimpin harus melihat bawahan mereka sebagai mitra dalam pekerjaan mereka untuk menghilangkan kesewenang-wenangan dan ketidakadilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kepustakaan.

Abstract

The success of the principal in managing his organization is not solely due to persistence, intelligence or expertise in a field but also depends on the success of his teacher in having productive and professional quality work. Lack of motivation can lead teachers to various problems such as being vulnerable to stress, loss of enthusiasm or enthusiasm for work and so on. Therefore, the role of the principal as a motivator must be turned on in order to improve the quality of teacher work. The purpose of this study is to examine further related to (1) school principal management as a motivator; and (2) the implementation of the principal's motivation for teachers. The research method used is a literature study obtained from internet searches related to previous research published from 2010-2021. Based on the findings, it was found that the provision of motivation from the principal to the teacher was given through positive motivation and negative motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine more deeply the aspects of diversity in educational institution organizations. The method used is a literature review approach. A comprehensive search strategy was carried out by searching various research journal databases. The research databases used are EBSCO, Science Direct and Wiley Online. The research criteria are (1) articles written in English and Indonesian between 2013 and 2023; (2) Articles are available in full-text form; (3) the article discusses diversity/diversity in educational organizations. Multicultural education can reduce stereotypes, misunderstandings and allow individuals to interact with others. Strategies for developing multicultural education through educational strategies, examples, and habits. In addition, multicultural education needs to implement the development of higher education systems, curriculum development, improving the quality of teaching staff, developing of education management systems, equalizing audience perceptions and developing cultural understanding and diversity of perspectives.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas sehingga siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Guru harus meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya dalam hal pengetahuan akademik, pengelolaan kelas, dan ketrampilan proses pembelajaran agar mereka dapat menggunakan semua kemampuannya untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang berkualitas tinggi bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi metode melalui mana supervisi akademik dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Studi kualitatif ini menggunakan studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh dikompulasi, dianalisis, dan disimpulkan untuk mencapai kesimpulan tentang studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran karena terkait dengan pembelajaran yang berkualitas tinggi, yang memerlukan guru yang berpengalaman. Guru sebagai pelaku utama dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan profesionalitasnya dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan bantuan supervisi akademik. Supervisi akademik memungkinkan guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan profesional mereka dan mengevaluasi kekurangan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini akan memungkinkan pendidikan yang lebih baik. Budaya mutu, juga dikenal sebagai budaya kualitas atau budaya perbaikan terus-menerus, adalah pendekatan organisasi atau perusahaan yang menekankan komitmen terhadap kualitas, peningkatan berkelanjutan, dan kesadaran bahwa setiap anggota staf memainkan peran penting dalam mencapai kualitas yang lebih baik. Budaya mutu berarti menciptakan lingkungan di mana setiap pekerja merasa bertanggung jawab atas barang atau jasa yang mereka berikan.

Abstract

This research study investigates the implementation of Project Based Learning (PBL) to enhance early childhood interpersonal intelligence. The study explores the steps involved in planning PBL and presents specific strategies for its implementation in early childhood settings. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis used Milles, Huberman, and Saldana's interactive data analysis, namely: data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The research findings show that the implementation of PBL has a positive impact on students' interpersonal intelligence by promoting interaction, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Strategies such as the division of diverse groups, assigning different roles, encouraging group discussions, providing peer feedback, and facilitating reflection, and evaluation were found to be effective in fostering interpersonal skills. Evaluation of PBL implementation involved formative and summative assessments, which allowed observation of student participation, feedback on interpersonal skills, assessment of project outcomes, and collecting feedback from students, parents, and teachers. The comprehensive evaluation process supports the effectiveness of PBL in improving early childhood interpersonal intelligence. The implications of this study highlight the importance of incorporating established educational theories and research findings into PBL planning, strengthening the theoretical foundation, and providing evidence-based support for the effectiveness of PBL in fostering early childhood interpersonal intelligence. The findings contribute to the field of early childhood education by providing practical guidance for educators who want to improve students' interpersonal skills through a project-based learning approach.

Abstract

Abstract: Transformational leadership is a leadership style that looks ahead to the necessary changes, creates a vision that opens up opportunities for planned changes, and implements the necessary plans to make the desired changes happen. To develop an educational institution, especially an Islamic boarding school (pesantren), a leader with a long-term vision accompanied by innovative and adaptive ideas is needed. This research is written to analyze and identify transformational leadership styles in pesantren in creating a solid organizational culture. The research uses a qualitative method with a literature study technique, which involves studying relevant sources. The research results show that transformational leadership is fundamental in shaping a conducive pesantren culture. The manifestation of the pesantren culture effectively influences the process of constructive change. The multicultural/heterogeneous environmental situation makes it easier to make changes to achieve the established vision. Abstrak: Kepemimpinan transformasional adalah gaya kepemimpinan yang memandang kedepan untuk perubahan yang diperlukan, menyusun visi yang akan membuka peluang bagi perubahan yang direncanakan dan melaksanakan rencana yang diperlukan agar perubahan yang diinginkan terjadi. Untuk mengembangkan suatu lembaga pendidikan khususnya pesantren, dibutuhkan pemimpin yang memiliki visi jangka panjang disertai gagasan inovatif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini penulisan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional di pesantren dalam menciptakan budaya organisasi yang kuat. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Metode ini melakukan penelitian dengan mengkaji sumber sumber yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan transformatif sangat fundamental dalam membentuk budaya pesantren yang kondusif. Model pembentukan budaya bersifat inklusif. Manfestasi dari budaya institusi pendidikan secara efektif mempengaruhi proses perubahan ke arah konstruktif. Situasi lingkungan yang multikultural/heterogen mempermudah dilakukan perubahan untuk mencapai visi yang telah ditetapkan. Lingkungan multikultural mendorong siswa untuk berpikir secara kreatif dan mencari solusi yang inovatif untuk masalah yang kompleks.
