Abstract

BACKGROUNDHuman dermal fibroblast (HDF) cultures can be used as a regenerative agent for wound healing. Fetal bovine serum (FBS) as a culture supplement is derived from animals, therefore not being constant in composition, causes variations in research results, thus requiring a substitute such as KnockOut serum replacement (KOSR). This study evaluated the defined KOSR as FBS substitute for HDF culture by measuring the relative expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) messenger RNA (mRNA), HDF cell proliferation, and HDF migration. METHODSHuman dermal fibroblast culture was divided into 2 intervention groups receiving KOSR 5% and KOSR 10%, respectively, and a control group receiving FBS 10%. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used for bFGF and KGF mRNA relative expression at the fifth passage (P5). Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) reagent was used for the HDF cell proliferation assay at P5 and the scratch assay was used for HDF cell migration at P6. Data were analyzed using dependent t-test, One-way ANOVA, or Kruskal-Wallis test. RESULTSThere were no significant differences in bFGF and KGF mRNA relative expression and HDF migration velocity between the intervention and control groups (p>0.05 and p>0.05, respectively). The doubling time of the KOSR 5% group showed no significant difference (p>0.05), but KOSR 10% and FBS 10% showed significant differences between treatment days 2-6 and treatment days 6-10 (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONSThe KOSR 10% was comparable to FBS 10% in supporting bFGF and KGF mRNA relative expression, HDF cell proliferation, and HDF cell migration in HDF culture.

Abstract

Bandara Udara So’a Bajawa merupakan salah satu bandara udara domestik di pulau Flores kabupaten Ngada, NTT. Terdapat 3 maskapai komersil yang beroperasi di bandara So’a dan tergolong dalam kategori low cost carrier (LCC) yaitu PT. Lion Air, PT. Citilink, dan PT. TransNusa Aviation Mandiri. Bandara Udara So’a bajawa merupakan salah satu bandara udara domestik di pulau Flores kabupaten Ngada, NTT. Terdapat 3 maskapai komersil yang beroperasi di bandara So’a dan tergolong dalam kategori low cost carrier (LCC) yaitu PT. Lion Air, PT. Citilink, dan PT. TransNusa Aviation Mandiri. Kualitas layanan yang optimal dan presepsi harga diharapkan mampu memenuhi harapan penumpang yang menggunakan 3 maskapai yang beroperasi di bandara so’a, untuk itu guna mengetahui kepuasan penumpang penelitian kuantitatif, Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui pembagian kuesioner kepada penumpang pengguna ketiga maskapai yang beroperasi di bandara So’a. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 sebagai alat bantu pengolahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lion Air lebih memuaskan dibandingkan dengan Cititlink dan TransNusa.

Abstract

SMK Muhamadiyah Sentolo terletak di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Mata pencaharian masyarakat di daerah ini 80% adalah petani yang memiliki etos kerja yang baik..Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam upaya mengembangkan pertanian antara lain menurunnya minat para generasi muda terhadap usaha di bidang pertanian khususnya tanaman padi, hal tersebut disebabkan karena proses pengerjaan terhadap kegiatan pertanian tersebut relatif cukup melelahkan. Sedangkan generasi tua sudah selayaknya diganti untuk kemudian agar kegiatan pertanian terus berlanjut. Penelitian ini melakukan studi komparasi dengan menggunakan teknologi yang mendukung proses pemupukan cair dengan bantuan drone. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan membandingkan penggunaan teknologi drone untuk pemupukan dengan teknologi konvensional atau manual pada tanaman padi selama satu kali musim tanam. Hasil penyemprotan drone yang diperlukan untuk pemupukan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 0.25 jam, pupuk yang dibutuhkan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 40 liter, kerja yang dibutuhkan pada luasan 1 hektar adalah 160 liter/jam.

Abstract

The Rainbow Valley Ecotourism Empowerment Program based on Smart Energy in Blimbingsari Hamlet, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman aims to enhance community independence through sustainable tourism management integrated with renewable energy technology, particularly solar panels, as well as the development of culinary and handicraft businesses and digital marketing strategies. Key activities include training in solar panel installation and maintenance, community-based tourism destination management, entrepreneurship, digital marketing and basic bookkeeping workshops, and training in making tables and chairs from used barrels as a form of environmentally friendly innovation. The program also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between universities, local government, and the local community to strengthen an independent, creative, and competitive tourism ecosystem. Thus, this program not only contributes to the improvement of the local economy but also supports the achievement of the SDGs for decent work, economic growth, sustainable settlements, and university KPI, namely students' off-campus experiences and the application of lecturers' research results in the community. Abstract

Background: Hypertension, a prevalent and often asymptomatic condition, has been associated with various ocular disorders. Ocular hypertension, in particular, is a notable risk factor for glaucoma. Understanding the relationship between systemic blood pressure and intraocular pressure is important for early detection of ocular hypertension and prevention of vision-threatening complications.Objective: To analyze the relationship between blood pressure and intraocular pressure, as well as the association between hypertension and ocular hypertension. Methods: This observational analytical study used secondary data from the medical records of 74 patients at the ophthalmology clinic of Hospital X Jakarta, collected between January and March 2023. The sample was selected using purposive sampling. Results: Hypertension was observed in 30 individuals (41%), including 19 females (26%) and 11 individuals aged 70–79 years (15%). Ocular hypertension was reported in 17 individuals (23%), with ten (10) females (14%) and nine (9) individuals aged 60–69 years (12%). Chi-Square analysis showed a significant relationship between blood pressure and intraocular pressure, with a p-value of 0.004 (p<α=0.05). In addition, Spearman's test showed correlations between systolic blood pressure and intraocular pressure in both the right eye (r=0.395; p=0.001) and the left eye (r=0.290; p=0.012). Additionally, there were correlations between diastolic blood pressure and intraocular pressure in the right eye (r=0.234; p=0.045) and the left eye (r=0.230; p=0.049).Conclusion: The relationship between blood pressure and intraocular pressure is found to be significant in this study, suggesting that higher blood pressure levels are associated with an increased risk of elevated intraocular pressure.

Abstract

Sentolo Muhammadiyah Vocational School is located in the Kulon Progo area, more precisely on Sentolo-Magelang, Ngeplang, Sentolo, Kulon Progo roads. His areas of expertise are Motorcycle Business Engineering (TBSM), Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO), Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). SMK Muhammadiyah Sentolo continues to carry out the process to improve and develop itself. One of them is by creating a Plus Program with the aim of preparing graduates who have resilience and independence. One of the plus programs is agroindustry Therefore, it is necessary to introduce agricultural processing methods using technology, especially technology that supports the fertilization process using liquid fertilizer. This Community Service Activity will introduce the use of fertilization technology using liquid media with the help of drones. The result of this service activity is that students know that the use of drones to help the fertilization process is meaningful for farmers, so students feel eager and enthusiastic to learn how to use the drone. On the farmer's side, they feel that the presence of drones applied by SMK Muhamaadiyah Sentolo students is a new hope that will be useful for helping farmers

Abstract

Kegiatan Bisnis/Industri Wisata merupakan kegiatan yang cukup kompleks dan harus terintegrasi dari seluruh komponen yang ada. Kegiatan Promosi merupakan salah satu komponen yang cukup penting dalam Industri Wisata. Facebook merupakan sarana/media sosial  untuk komunikasi antar manusia, dan media sosial ini dapat digunakan untuk sarana promosi yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengenalkan obyek wisata “Bukit Roso Wulan”. Untuk mengemas konten promosi wisata sehingga menarik bagi pengunjung, perlu dibuatkan promosi dalam bentuk video. Mengingat keterbatasn SDM yang ada penting dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan desa wisata “Bukit Roso Wulan”, sehingga menjadi tujuan wisata yang menarik bagi seluruh masyarakat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat mengaplikasikan konsep industri wisata di Desa Turunan, Girisuko, Panggang, Kabupaten Gunungkidul.
