Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively analyze the tradition of nurturing tolerance and religious harmony in the Nyadran and Tundun traditions of Pancasila Balun Village, Turi District, Lamongan Regency. These traditions serve as a means to maintain religious tolerance and harmony amidst inter-religious conflicts in society. The study adopts a sociological field research approach, and data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the sociological dynamics underlying the Nyadran and Tundun traditions represent the efforts of the ancestors of Pancasila Balun Village to protect its community by fostering harmony among different religions through promoting religious tolerance. The Nyadran and Tundun traditions serve as social bonds in Pancasila Balun Village and, from a philosophical perspective, symbolize prayers for safety after birth and death, as well as a way to live together in a better society. These traditions align with Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah, namely ḥifdh al-dīn (preserving religion), ḥifdh al-nafs (preserving human life), and ḥifdh al-‘aql (preserving intellect).

Abstract

This study examines the role of Maskūt ‘Anhu as a legal basis for determining the compliance of online commerce practices with Sharia law, focusing on online trade cases in three regencies around Bojonegoro, East Java. The research aims to analyze the legitimacy of Maskūt ‘Anhu, its understanding and application among scholars and Islamic legal practitioners, as well as its impact on the dynamics of online commerce in the region. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews with 120 online MSME actors and 15 scholars and Islamic legal practitioners. The main findings indicate that Maskūt ‘Anhu is accepted as a flexible and relevant legal foundation for regulating digital trade, with the highest level of understanding in Lamongan (40%) and the lowest in Ngawi (30%). The implications of this study emphasize the importance of Maskūt ‘Anhu in supporting Sharia compliance while encouraging innovation in the Islamic digital economy. This research contributes uniquely by integrating classical ushul fiqh principles into the modern context of online commerce and offers recommendations for developing adaptive Sharia regulations. The findings are relevant for scholars, legal practitioners, and policymakers in strengthening the Sharia-based digital economic ecosystem in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the former Egyptian mufti Ali Gomaa's argument that the absence of banks is the essence of riba. He theorized that the lack of banks was to blame for the inflation, just as riba can. In contrast, as we all know, the prohibition on riba is due to increased debt repayments. He went on to say that the mistake made by Muslim scholars in understanding bank interest as a form of riba was their dogmatic way of thinking, which equated money invested in bank financing with money owed. This study uses the arguments of former Egyptian mufti Ali Gomaa as primary and secondary sources to conduct critical research. In this case, the explanation is provided by a qualitative descriptive research design. Its purpose is to demonstrate the validity of former Egyptian mufti Ali Gomaa's argument for justifying that destroying the banks is equivalent to breeding riba. The study discovered that the statement by Egypt's Mufti Ali Gomaa was based on the bank's overall performance, specifically as an intermediary institution, where the bank's function is as a financing institution rather than a lending institution. Also, unlike debts and credits, where profit-taking is forbidden, it is perfectly legal to do so in any funding. Ali Gomaa's statement is a unilateral claim because banks channel money to customers for various reasons, including financing, investment, and debt purposes. Research-based recommendations are offered for adjustments required by stakeholders. Optimistically, the submission of this study will trigger a positive response from stakeholders.

Abstract

AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) is is a symptom of blood cell disease which results in decreased immunity in humans. HIV/AIDS causes a decline in economic productivity, health, and environmental fields, so it needs treatment to reduce the spread of the disease in East Java. The spread of the HIV/AIDS virus is growing rapidly both in terms of region and pattern of spread. Therefore, it is necessary to have policies from the government to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS through mathematical modeling to determine the actual and comprehensive factors that influence HIV/AIDS care. policies needed to handle and reduce HIV/AIDS in East Java. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the care of people with HIV/AIDS with Survival Regression modeling Dagum 3 Parameter link function. This model uses parameter estimation with a Bayesian analysis approach with the results that the factors that significantly influence the length of HIV/AIDS care in East Java are marital status (X5), absolute CD4 levels (X7), Suffering Stage (X8), Functional State (X9), and Therapy adherence (X10). These results indicate that marital status and condition characteristics of HIV/AIDS sufferers are important information in the socialization program for reducing HIV/AIDS in East Java.
