Abstract

Fire accidents are disasters that often occur compared to other fire disasters such as floods, landslides, earthquakes or tsunamis. Fires can occur at any time, and no one knows for sure when a fire accident will occur. The impact of a fire disaster is not only material that can disappear from human lives. The causative factors of fire disasters often occur due to human negligence and fires often occur in houses where the occupants have left them. Labuhanbatu University at night will be left by the owner and all lecturers and educational staff, only guarded by two security people with this condition, it is very dangerous when a fire occurs in one of the buildings. The purpose of this research is to focus on developing a fire detection system at Labuhanbatu University based on the Internet of Things to provide early warning of safety. The system uses three sensors, namely temperature sensor, gas sensor, and fire sensor. This research is R&D research using the ADDIE model with the following stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the fire sensor test were 90% successful, the results of the sensor test as soon as possible were 90% successful, and the results of the temperature sensor test were 90% successful. This fire detection system can minimize or minimize the occurrence of fire accidents and losses because it is based on the Internet of Things providing early information when a fire occurs to education staff and lecturers at Labuhanabtu University. Overall, this fire warning system can function properly.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is very rapid at this time contributed greatly to the development process of various kinds of learning media based on the application of technology as one of the innovations in education, Virtual Reality (VR) technology itself is a way in a way perform the appearance of learning pictures in the form of media three-dimensional or what is usually better known as 3D. Where the purpose of research is to explain Virtual Reality for Future Education. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Virtual Reality (VR) has the potential to enhance education by enabling greater learning potential than ever before, in addition to luring us into new realms. Learning can reach students' emotional core in novel and fascinating ways thanks to virtual reality. This study also states that learning subjects that can benefit the most from implementing Virtual Reality as learning media are science, social studies, and history. However, the potential is much greater.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out assistance in obtaining halal certificates for UMKM in se-Labuhantau Raya. In this study, service team used qualitative research methods. The types of data in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by the service team through interviews with mentors in an effort to collect data in this study, namely through interviews and using documentation by seeking information and references in the form of journals and information from the internet. Halal certification plays an important role in ensuring that the businesses produced by UMKM actors are free from illicit products ranging from raw materials, production processes to the product halal assurance system that meets the standards of LPPOM MUI. The training and mentoring for UMKM in Labuhanbatu Raya was carried out through socialization and mentoring of NIB and assistance with halal labels. The total halal certificates that will be assisted through community service are 151 Halal Certificates with a distribution of 104 certificates in Labuhanbatu, 27 certificates in South Labuhanbatu and 19 certificates in North Labuhanbatu. This assistance effort is able to make UMKM actors aware of the importance of halal labels and be able to educate UMKM actors se-Labuhanbatu Raya in maintaining the quality of their products so that in this rapidly growing era the products that have been produced are able to compete with other products.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan berbasis digital marketing bagi Siswa dan Guru agar memiliki kompetensi dibidang kewirausahaan berbasis digital maupun berjiwa enterpreneur. Pelatihan ini dibuat dengan memanfaatkan social media (Facebook,Instagram) dan Marketplace (Shopee,Tokopedia,Bukalapak) sebagai media pemasaran secara digital saat ini. Sosial Media dan Marketplace adalah salah satu media yang berkembang saat ini dan dapat membantu dalam melakukan pemasaran secara digital (Digital Marketing). Metode kegiatan dalam pelaksanaanya menggunakan berbagai metode seperti ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta memberikan pelatihan tentang digitalisasi. Hasil kegiatan memberikan pelatihan digital marketing bagi para agar Siswa dan Gurus SMK Negeri 1 Rengat Provinsi Riau memiliki keterampilan wirausaha berbasis digital.

Abstract

Laboran is a designation for technical personnel who operate in a laboratory environment or a place related to scientific, research or testing activities. A chemical worker is a technical worker who has specific knowledge and skills in the chemical field. In schools, chemical workers have a role as workers who supervise and manage chemical laboratories. His main duties include sampling, material testing, data processing and maintenance of laboratory equipment. The school needs to know the performance of each chemical worker, so an assessment of the performance of each chemical worker is needed so that the school knows the best performance of the chemical worker, an additional salary will be added. The performance assessment includes several criteria namely Technical Expertise, Professional Ethics, Problem Solving, Punctuality, Safety and Health, Maintenance of tools and materials, Report Quality, Self-Development, Accuracy, Teamwork and Communication. To simplify the evaluation system for the performance of chemical workers and find out who is the best, a decision-making system is needed, namely a decision support system (DSS). SPK is a system designed to assist decision makers in solving problems or choosing the best option from various available alternatives. In this study the authors used the MOOSRA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Analysis) method and ROC (Rank Order Centroid) weighting. The MOOSRA method is a stable, consistent, and reliable multi-criteria comparison method that can provide an accurate assessment of chemical workforce performance. From the application of the ROC and MOOSRA methods, it was obtained an assessment of the performance of the chemical workforce with the chemical workforce alternative with the highest performance, namely the LK07 alternative on behalf of Gueen with a value of 207.95261.

Abstract

Designing an Android-based News application using UML (Unified Modeling Language) that is implemented using Android Studio, while the Android Application uses PHP and MySQL Programming for the database. The programming used is Android-based programming using a MySQL database for php script creation. The results showed that the Android-based news application as a news data processing process that occurred in Labuhanbatu Regency could be done quickly, efficiently and economically; Then the results also show that processing news data from online media on the application facilitates work processes that can improve agency performance.

Abstract

Clinic is a health service facility that organizes individual health services and provides basic and/or specialist medical services. If the clinic does not use a computerized system, it will hamper the patient handling process. Obstacles were found at the Rantauprapat Internal Clinic Clinic, including patient registration which was still done manually with patients having to fill out paper forms directly to the clinic, not having a queuing system for treatment, medical record management which was still manual by handwriting. This can take a lot of time in the data search process. The purpose of this application is to facilitate daily operational activities in clinics that run quickly and precisely, as well as medical data management to be more accurate (minimizing human error). The analysis method uses the Soft System Methodology (SSM), and the system development method uses Extreme Programming (XP). This website-based application uses the PHP programming language which is supported by the MySQL database. Based on blackbox testing, all features can run/100% valid. This information system helps the work process in the clinic to be faster, documenting structured medical records, reducing paper use, and facilitating activities in patient care.

Abstract

Water tanks are widely used to store water in the community. However, the filling process still uses a manual method so it cannot monitor/monitor the water level in the tank, so when the water is full in the tank until it overflows it is then turned off. Water tanks are often placed at a height to take advantage of gravity so that water can flow optimally. The high position of the water tank is difficult for users to reach to determine the quality and volume of water. The performance of this tool has 2 conditions. The first condition will discuss the water level monitoring tool in the tank. Using the tool developed, the water pump can be turned on and off automatically which is controlled using a monitoring tool using a smartphone and the Blynk application with a water level indicator. , water flow, and watervolume and Notification of water conditions via Telegram. Technology for distributing and monitoring water in tanks is still limited to conventional means by turning on and opening the water tap. For this reason, a control system is needed that can monitor and control the water volume in several tanks through one application display on a smartphone such as Telegram. By using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller base, an ultrasonic sensor as a water volume measuring sensor, and a Mini Water Pump, the condition of the water volume and all changes can always be monitored via notifications on Telegram. Apart from that, the tool can also be controlled automatically or manually through the commands provided on Telegram. In this way, the concept of using Telegram as a water tank volume control and monitoring system can be the right alternative choice in designing a water tank control system. The research method used is a prototyping system. The expected result is the realization of automatic floodgates to make it easier for humans to carry out their tasks and make the system run more efficiently. Apart from being automatic, this tool has the advantage that it can be controlled remotely using the internet of things. The design of this automatic sluice gate uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller as a processing tool, and is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor, water level float switch sensor, servo motor.

Abstract

The ripeness of oil palm fruit greatly affects the quality of the oil produced. Usually, humans manually detect the maturity of oil palm fruit, a process that can be inconsistent and time-consuming. Therefore, there is a need for automated methods that can improve accuracy and efficiency in determining the maturity of oil palm fruit. The study proposes using the Convolutional Neural Network algorithm to detect oil palm fruit maturity based on digital color images. We expect a convolutional neural network, known for its effectiveness in image analysis, to deliver accurate results in classifying fruit maturity. The aim of this study is to develop and test a model of a convolutional neural network that can classify oil palm fruit into three maturity categories: raw, ripe, and rotten. This study employs a maturity-categorized data set of oil palm images. We built and trained a convolutional neural network model using this data set. We evaluate the model performance using four main metrics: accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score. We perform an in-depth analysis to assess model performance in each maturity category. The confusion matrix yielded an accuracy of 74.6%. The convolutional neural network model developed showed the highest precision results for the ripe fruit (86.00%), followed by rotten fruit (72.30%), and raw fruit (67.30%). We obtained the highest recalls (85.40%) for the raw fruit category, followed by ripe fruits (75.50%) and rotten fruits (72.30%.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media (Twitter) has made it a platform for the public to express their views on the Indonesian presidential candidate in the 2024 elections. The sentiment expressed through comments on Twitter provides important insights into the public perception of the candidates. However, given the volume and speed at which information is disseminated on social media, manual analysis of this sentiment becomes impractical. Therefore, the use of the Naïve Bayes algorithm for automatic sentiment analysis is considered essential to understanding voter support and preferences. The study aims to analyze Twitter users' sentiments towards three Indonesian presidential candidates in 2024, Anies, Ganjar, and Prabowo, using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. We categorize the results of this analysis into three sentiment categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The methods used in the study involved collecting Twitter comment data related to the three candidates, pre-processing data, labeling data, applying the Naïve Bayes algorithm for the classification of sentiment, and evaluation of the performance of the algorithm performed by calculating the level of accuracy. The results of the research showed that the Naïve Bayes algorithm was able to classify sentiments with fairly high precision, namely 75.54% for Anies, 82.74% for Ganjar, and 75.24% for Prabowo. The conclusion of this study is that sentimental analysis using the Naïve Bayes algorithm can provide significant insights into voter preferences and support. The sentimental data generated can serve as a strong foundation for decision-makers to design campaign strategies that are more effective and responsive to public perception. This research also opens up opportunities for further development in the use of sentimental analysis techniques in politics and campaigns.
