Abstract

IVA (Visual Inspection withAcetic Acid), is a simple way to detect cervical cancer as early as possible. This tool isso simple because when the examination, do not need to go to the lab. Fertile age women, who do not understand, oral ready understand, on examination IVA negative have negative perception. Compared to those who have really understand and know the benefits of IVA examination. Therefore, this study aims to find out, the perception of fertile age women, on early detection of Ca. Cervical with Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid method (IVA), at BPM Hj. Dyah Indrawati, SST, Tanjangrono Village, District Ngoro, Mojokerto. This study used a descriptive design. The population is, all Fertile age women, in BPM Hj. Dyah Indrawati, SST, Tanjangrono Village, District Ngoro, Mojokerto, which hamounts to 80 people. By using consecutive sampling technique, found that 67 samples. The results showed that, the perception of Fertile age women, concerning the IVA examination at BPM Hj. Dyah Indrawati, SST, TanjangronoVillage, District Ngoro, Mojokerto, mostly negative amount of 37 respondents (55.2%). The negative perception due to lack of information about IVA examination, fear, shame and self-confidence that does not have cervical cancer, willins pection IVA, causing the respondents have a negative perception about the IVA examination.Keywords: Perception, FertileAge Women,earlydetectionof Ca.Serviks, Visual Inspection WithAcetic Acid Method

Abstract

Mortality and disability is increasing due to errors in drug administration can prevent with optimum supervision.. The purpose of research to determine the effect of supervision head nurses’ to improve the quality of intravenous drug administration.The study design using pre-experimental design with pre -post approach only one group. Total sample of 40 nurses and 12 head nurses’. Research carried out by dividing the respondents into two groups: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given training supervision then evaluated the implementation of the supervision and implementation of intravenous drug administration by nurses. The control group did not receive treatment.Results showed the group given supervision increased 25.25 points in the implementation of intravenous drug administration. Whereas the control groupthere was no increase. The results of statistical tests significant effect training supervision to improve the quality of intravenous drug administration proved by value (p = 0.000, α = 0.05).Efforts to improve the quality of intravenous injection with the application of supervision, supervision scheduling, and provide training supervision and training of injection techniques regularly.Keywords:Training, supervision head Nurse’s, quality, drug administration, intravenous

Abstract

Babies with low birth weight is one of the main causes of infant mortality in the world. Impact low birth weight baby greater than in normal infants at the same gestational age. This study aims to determine the factors that affect mothers low birth weight babywith descriptively based on age, parity, education level, job, Haemoglobin Estimated and Disease/complications. This study used a non Random Sampling (Non probality) type of purposive sampling. The population was all mothers who gave birth to low birth weight mothers gained 97 and obtained samples of 44 mothers. Data taken from medical records, inserted into the data tabulation table. After collected entered data processing andincluded in the frequency distribution table. The final conclusion is low birth weight baby found in the age group 20-35 years by 25 mothers (56.8%). Multipara maternal parity on as many as 23 mothers (52.3%). Mother’s education level at the high school by 20 mothers (45.5%). Mother’sjob as a Housewife of 37 mothers (84.1%). Mother’s have Haemoglobin Estimate ≥11gr/dL by 26 mothers (59,1%).Mothers don’t have complications there were 28 mothers (63.6%). In this study found no dominant factors affecting the incidence of low birth weight baby. To decrease the incidence of low birth weight babies by providing information about nutrition during pregnancy because it is so related to the health of the fetus.Keywords:Age, Parity, Education Level, Job, Haemoglobin Estimated,Diseases/Complications, Low Birth Weight Babies
