Abstract

The development of creativity is an educational demand in the 21st century. This writing aims to discuss briefly the implementation of long-project storytelling in early childhood education and its implications for developing children’s creativity. The method used is Early Child Research and Practice (ECRP) with data collection techniques through observation, documentation and field notes on teachers and children. The research was conducted at the Bunda Balita Playgroup, Bandung City. The long-project storytelling was conducted in three meetings. The researchers explored the theme of learning about houses and the sub-theme of learning about various forms of houses (fairy houses). The learning innovation conducted in the long-project storytelling method is by implementing the Reggio Emilia learning approach.  It shows learning activity by utilizing existing resources in the school environment. Through the long-project storytelling learning method, children experience an increased profile of language development. This can be seen when they can listen attentively to stories and answer the teacher’s questions enthusiastically. Researchers came up with creative ideas that emerged within children, including aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, aspects of detail or elaboration, and aspects of working together in creativity (teamwork and creativity).

Abstract

The development of social media has resulted in changes in the development of fashion trends among society, especially students. One of them is thrift products or used clothes which are often used as a solution for students who want to still look stylish (fashionable) with well-known brands but at affordable and cheap prices. In this case, consumer satisfaction plays an important role in purchasing decisions. The purchasing decision process is an action of consumer behavior that will give rise to positive and negative responses to the product to be purchased. If the level of consumer satisfaction shows positive, the consumer will decide to buy the product again. This research aims to find out how much influence the level of consumer satisfaction has on thrift purchasing decisions among LP3I Medan Polytechnic Students. The data collection technique uses quantitative methods with a simple linear regression approach and a sample of 60 respondents. The research results show that partially, consumer satisfaction influences purchasing decisions (at a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculated t of 10.421 > 1.672 greater than the t table value) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is an influence on satisfaction consumers (X) on purchasing decisions (Y). Judging from the coefficient of determination, the level of consumer satisfaction has an effect of 0.652, which shows that the Consumer Satisfaction variable has an effect of 65.2% on purchasing decisions, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside this research

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of work discipline and work productivity on employee performance at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional I Belawan. This type of research is quantitative research. The population and sample in this study were 36 people. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression statistical analysis and uses the t test, f test and the coefficient of determination, while the instrument test uses validity and reliability tests with the help of SPSS version 26. Based on the results of this study indicate that work discipline and work productivity simultaneously ( f) test affects employee performance by using a significance of 0.000 <0.05 to obtain an F count of 78. 587 > from the value of F table 3.28. While partially (t test) shows that the work discipline variable has a significant effect on employee performance with a t count of 3.268 > t table of 2.034, the test is carried out using a sig value of 0.003 <0.05. While the work productivity variable shows that there is a significant influence on employee performance with a t value of 3,400 > t table value of 2.034.

Abstract

Understanding and supporting the role of parents in toilet training is crucial, not only for the individual development of the child but also for the overall well-being of the family. This article aims to explore the role of parents in disciplining toilet training. This research employs a qualitative approach with a Systematic Review method. The study draws from books and research articles that discuss the role of parents in disciplining child toilet training. The data analysis method used is thematic analysis, which involves identifying patterns through data collected by the researchers. Based on the research findings and existing theories, it can be concluded that parents play a significant role in the success of toilet training for children. Parents' roles are substantial in guiding, assisting, training, supervising, accompanying, and evaluating. The implications suggest that parents' roles are expected to discipline and assist in controlling the desire to defecate and urinate, reduce the use of disposable diapers, enhance children's motor skills, and foster independence. Thus, the implementation of toilet training progresses smoothly.

Abstract

This study analyzes internal and external factors that can affect agricultural businesses in Melati 2 Hamlet using the SWOT analysis method supported by the IFAS and EFAS matrices. Based on the results of the study, it was found that farmers in Melati 2 Hamlet have very good internal strengths, indicated by the existence of well-coordinated farmer groups, long experience of farmers and the readiness and willingness of farmers to make marketing innovations. The IFAS score of 3.70 indicates that the internal strengths of farmers are very strong so that they can overcome the weaknesses that farmers have in the form of limited equipment and capital. The EFAS score of 3.55 indicates that there are great opportunities that can be utilized such as technological advances and easy internet access. Strategic recommendations from the results of the SWOT analysis using the IFAS and EFAS matrices are the use of technology and e-commerce, collaboration with agricultural extension workers and optimization of administrative processes. The existence of the right strategy is expected to improve the welfare of farmers in Melati 2 Hamlet, Perbaungan Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai Regency.

Abstract

Mengasuh anak berkebutuhan khusus menimbulkan tantangan yang unik bagi orang tua, yang sering kali memengaruhi tingkat stres mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tingkat stres orang tua dalam pengasuhan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dan dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan mereka. Berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua dalam merawat ABK, seperti kebutuhan yang unik dan peran penting mereka dalam mendukung perkembangan anak, menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan menganalisis 11 jurnal yang relevan, yang diterbitkan antara 2017 hingga 2024 dari 220 artikel. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa program pengabdian masyarakat berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua dalam pola asuh dan pengelolaan stres, yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap ABK. Selain itu, pentingnya dukungan emosional, memberikan informasi atau edukasi, dan mekanisme koping yang tepat juga ditemukan sebagai faktor kunci dalam mengurangi tingkat stres dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis orang tua. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan holistik yang mencakup edukasi, dukungan sosial, dan teknik pengelolaan stres untuk mendukung orang tua dalam pengasuhan ABK.

Abstract

Character education aims to build a strong nation where people have noble morals, are moral and tolerant, and work together. Therefore, character education in early childhood is considered important because at an early age children's character is easy to shape because children imitate and absorb behavior from the surrounding environment more quickly. The effort in passing on culture to early childhood in Tana Toraja Regency involves early childhood in cultural activities. One of the activities involving early childhood is the Rambu solo traditional ceremony. The purpose of this study was to determine the character education values reflected in the Rambu solo' traditional ceremony for early childhood and to determine the involvement of early childhood in the Rambu solo' traditional ceremony. The research method used is an ethnographic method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are the value of character education that exists in the Rambu solo' ceremony for early childhood is religious, social care, tolerance, discipline, and curiosity. Furthermore, the form of early childhood involvement in the Rambu solo' ceremony is to receive guests tailored to their physical abilities.

Abstract

Abstract Parents have a significant role in shaping their children's character from an early age through proper parenting. The parenting style applied by each parent varies greatly, adjusted to the conditions of the parents and also the needs of the child and is influenced by many other factors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the parenting patterns applied by parents in shaping certain characters in early childhood. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data searches were conducted using the google scholar electronic database. Then analyzed descriptively by setting inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the results of the study, 3 forms of parenting were obtained, namely democratic, authoritarian, and permissive in shaping character in children. Parents can combine these forms of parenting according to the situation, conditions and the right portion. The character values that can be formed through the combination of parenting are tolerance, independence, polite, religious, respectful, disciplined, caring, adaptable, honest, responsible, confident, hard work, friendly, open attitude, simple, brave, fair, patient, and leadership. From the results of this study, it is hoped that parents can be wiser in applying parenting patterns for their children and not only focus on one parenting pattern that is considered the best. Keywords: Parenting; Character; Early Childhood Abstrak Orang tua memiliki peran cukup besar dalam membentuk karakter anaknya sejak dini melalui pola asuh yang tepat. Pola asuh yang diterapkan setiap orang tua sangat bervariasi, disesuaikan dengan kondisi orang tua dan juga kebutuhan anak serta dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor lainnya. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola asuh yang diterapkan orang tua dalam membentuk karakter tertentu pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Pencarian data dilakukan menggunakan database elektronik google scholar. Kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menetapkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan 3 bentuk pola asuh yaitu demokratis, otoriter, dan permisif dalam membentuk karakter pada anak. Orang tua dapat mengombinasikan bentuk pola asuh tersebut sesuai dengan situasi, kondisi dan porsi yang tepat. Adapun nilai karakter yang dapat dibentuk melalui kombinasi pola asuh tersebut adalah toleransi, kemandirian, sopan, religius, hormat, disiplin, peduli, mudah menyesuaikan diri, jujur, bertanggungjawab, percaya diri, kerja keras, bersahabat, sikap terbuka, sederhana, berani, adil, sabar, dan kepemimpinan. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan orang tua dapat lebih bijak lagi dalam menerapkan pola asuh bagi anaknya dan tidak hanya terfokus pada satu pola asuh yang dianggap paling baik. Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital oleh anak usia dini terus meningkat, sehingga menuntut peran aktif orang tua khususnya ayah dalam membimbing penggunaan teknologi secara bijak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi ayah dalam pengasuhan serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode literatur review. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama yang dihadapi ayah mencakup keterbatasan waktu dimana 82,98% ayah memiliki jadwal yang padat, kurangnya pengetahuan ayah terkait penggunaan teknologi yang dapat menyebabkan risiko digital, dan adanya distraksi teknologi. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan meliputi: 1) quality time bersama anak, 2) memahami penggunaan teknologi bagi anak, 3) menghindari distraksi teknologi, 4) memberikan contoh yang baik dalam penggunaan teknologi, 5) Komunikasi terbuka dengan anak, 6) berkolaborasi dengan ibu untuk menentukan peraturan penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan ayah yang lebih responsif dalam mendukung perkembangan anak di era digital dan membangun pengasuhan digital yang sehat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya studi tentang pengasuhan anak yang menggunakan analisis teori Barat seperti parenting style Baumrind yang merujuk pola asuh terbaik adalah pola asuh demokratis. Hal ini menyebabkan standar pengasuhan setiap negara selalu didefinisikan seragam, yakni pola asuh demokratis. Padahal pengasuhan dapat berbeda di setiap negara berdasarkan perbedaan latar belakang geografis dan kulturnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia memiliki ciri khas dalam pengasuhan anak dan mengungkap pengasuhan mainstream. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, literatur yang digunakan terbit dari tahun 2012-2022 yang telah diseleksi. Teknik analisis menggunakan Miles & Huberman terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia memiliki alternatif pengasuhan yang dilihat dari aspek histori, budaya, dan karakteristik masyarakatnya, yang kemudian dibahas pada 3 bagian temuan, yakni masyarakat Indonesia dan budayanya, budaya kolektivisme vs individualisme di Indonesia, dan keberagaman etnoparenting Indonesia.
