Abstract

Anak usia dini perlu diposisikan sebagai individu dengan diberikan kepercayaan untuk mengatasi masalahnya. Kehidupan anak tidak akan selalu dapat bergantung dengan orang terdekat sehingga penting untuk memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah sejak dini. Adapun ibu merupakan sosok yang memiliki waktu paling banyak saat anak berada pada masa golden age. Ibu perlu memberikan stimulasi agar anak dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian peran ibu dan pemecahan masalah anak dalam buku cerita “Willa & Rempah Kesayangan Ibu”. Isi dalam sebuah buku dapat menjadi contoh dalam kehidupan sehingga penting untuk ditelaah mengenai kesesuaiannya dengan teori-teori yang berlaku. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian analisis isi. Objek dalam penelitian ini, yaitu alur cerita dalam buku cerita anak “Willa & Rempah Kesayangan Ibu” yang berisikan peran ibu dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak. Hal ini ditelaah melalui teks dan ilustrasi pada cerita tersebut sehingga teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan cara Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa peran ibu terlihat dari stimulasi yang diberikan pada anak dengan memberikan komunikasi yang memuat asas kepercayaan dan keterbukaan, sedia mengajak anak bermain, dan memberikan kebebasan pada anak untuk mengek- splorasi. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak diperlihatkan dengan sembilan tahapan yang dilalui, yakni pengamatan, klasifikasi, membandingkan, mengukur, mengomunikasikan, eksperimen, menghubungkan, mengambil simpulan serta menerapkan informasi. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak tersebut berkembang tidak lepas dari stimulasi yang telah ibu berikan.Early childhood needs to be positioned as individuals who are given the trust to solve their problems. Children's lives will not always be able to depend on the people closest to them, so it is important to have problem-solving skills from an early age. The mother is the figure who has the most time when the child is in the golden age. Mothers need to provide stimulation so that children can develop problem solving skills. This study aims to describe the suitability of the mother's role and problem-solving abilities of children in the storybook "Willa & Rempah Kesayangan Ibu". Examining a book's content's compatibility with the prevailing theory is crucial since the material in a book might serve as an example in real life. The method in this study uses a qualitative research design with content analysis. The objects in this study, namely the storyline in the children's storybook "Willa & Rempah Kesayangan Ibu" which contains the mother's role and children's problem-solving abilities. This is examined through the text and illustrations in the story so that the data collection technique is in the form of a documentation study. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman method. According to the study's findings, mothers play an important role in stimulating their children by establishing open and honest lines of communication, being willing to ask them to play, and allowing them the opportunity to explore on their own. The nine steps that youngsters go through, including seeing, classifying, comparing, measuring, communicating, experimenting, linking, making conclusions, and apply- ing information, demonstrate their ability to solve issues. The child's problem-solving ability develops can not be separated from the stimulation that the mother has given.

Abstract

Indonesia has many environmental problems, especially those related to mining. It becomes essential to provide environmental education to the younger generation. However, the environmental education curriculum has not been explicitly found in the body of formal education in Indonesia. The study area is in Gunungkidul Regency, Indonesia where the limestone mining industry has expanded in almost all areas. The purpose of this study is to assess the environmental impacts of limestone mining activities and align the possible integration of environmental education in the study area. To gather data about the environmental impacts of limestone mining activities, a desktop study, field investigation, and interviews with local communities were conducted. Analysis of the Indonesian curriculum and interviews with elementary school teachers were conducted to align the possible integration of environmental education. The environmental impacts of limestone mining activities in the study area include air pollution, water contamination, drought, soil erosion, and road damage. We provide some suggestions for learning materials including an Introduction to environmentally friendly mining activities (Science subjects, grade 4, thematic 3), an Introduction to air pollution impacts in the mining area on human breathing (Science subjects, grade 5, thematic 2), and Introduction about mining activities impacts on the air, water, and soil (Science subjects, grade 5, thematic 8). It is recommended that teachers not only teach theory but also practice and environmental observation.

Abstract

This educational approach to 21st-century teaching emphasizes a fun learning approach because it can influence students to improve the quality of their learning. Fun learning can be carried out because of the factors that influence the creation of fun learning so that students can receive stimulus from a fun learning approach and enjoy learning in the classroom in a happy and prosperous state. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the relationship between teacher creativity in presenting material, positive classroom atmosphere, and the use of technology in the learning context. The method used in this research is a literature study, a literature review analysis based on scientific articles relevant to the topic of discussion. This research shows that a fun learning approach can be created if you understand and master the factors influencing fun learning, such as pedagogical abilities, learning methods, learning media, and learning management systems. By understanding these factors, educators can create fun learning so that Students can learn happily and prosperously without feeling forced to carry out learning in class to achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of character education through the emancipated curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) project activities expo based on local Sundanese culture at Junior High Schools (SMP). The research method used a phenomenological approach with interpretive qualitative research that looks and hears more closely and in detail from individual explanations and understanding of their experiences. Participants in this research include students and teachers involved in project activities expo. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that the effectiveness of the emancipated curriculum expo project is rooted in local Sundanese cultural wisdom in implementing character education in junior high schools. Developing projects, assigning roles, and exhibiting students' work is essential to holistic character formation. In addition, these activities strengthen students' cultural identity and increase their involvement in the learning process. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of integrating locally based character education in the school curriculum to strengthen students' cultural and moral awareness in the era of globalization. This research contributes to advancing knowledge by highlighting the significance of culturally rooted character education initiatives in enhancing students' holistic development in educational contexts. As a result, students can work together in teams, reason critically, be creative, have a sense of diversity, and respect opinions.

Abstract

AbstractSibling rivalry is a common issue observed among children with their siblings. It arises from competition and jealousy between siblings. In its management, parents must possess knowledge and strategies regarding cases of sibling rivalry. This research aims to delve into sibling rivalry, encompassing the causative factors and the consequences of sibling rivalry that occur in early childhood. This study also hopes to illustrate the efforts of parents in addressing the occurrence of sibling rivalry in young children. The research method employed in this study is qualitative through systematic review, by collecting several previous studies on sibling rivalry, then organizing and analyzing relevant research. The results of the review from this research reveal that the occurrence of sibling rivalry in early childhood is influenced by several factors, namely the age gap between siblings, parenting styles, and the number of siblings. Sibling rivalry can impact the children themselves as well as their siblings, leading to physical and psychological aggression towards each other. Therefore, efforts that parents can undertake in managing sibling rivalry include enhancing their knowledge, setting an example for their children, implementing parenting practices that benefit all children, and encouraging children to engage in activities that foster cooperative, healthy competition, and a willingness to collaborate in various endeavors.Keywords: Early childhood; sibling rivalry; parentsAbstrakSibling rivalry merupakan sebuah kasus yang sering dikunjungi pada anak dengan saudara kandungnya. Hal ini terjadi akibat persaingan dan kecemburuan antar saudara kandung. Dalam penanganannya orang tua harus memiliki pengetahuan dan strategi mengenai kasus sibling rivalry. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami mengenai sibling rivalry, yang berisikan faktor penyebab serta dampak sibling rivalry yang terjadi pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini diharapkan juga dapat menggambarkan upaya orang tua untuk menangani terjadinya sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif melalui literature review, dengan mengumpulkan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya mengenai sibling rivalry, selanjutnya penelitian yang relevan disusun dan dianalisis. Hasil review dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa terjadinya sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini didasari dari beberapa faktor yaitu jarak usia antar anak, pola asuh, dan jumlah saudara. Sibling rivalry akan berdampak pada diri anak sendiri maupun saudaranya seperti saling melakukan kekerasan fisik maupun psikis. Oleh sebab itu, upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh orang tua dalam menangani sibling rivalry dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan, menjadi tauladan bagi anak, pola asuh yang diterapkan menguntungkan semua anak, serta mengajak anak untuk melakukan kegiatan yang meningkatkan sikap kooperatif, kompetitif, dan minat bekerjasama dalam berbagai aktivitas.Kata kunci: Anak usia dini; sibling rivalry; orang tua

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is the main factor in a company. It helps the company to optimally realize its expected goals. Obtaining good qualifications is the goal achieved in the Implementation of the Recruitment Process of PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk Area Sumbagut Padangsidimpuan Branch. Researchers collected data from interviews, observations and data based on research, using indicators of the recruitment process variable, namely Identifying vacant positions, searching for position information through position analysis, determining the right source of candidates, choosing the most appropriate recruitment method, calling candidates who meet the qualifications or requirements, making job offers and starting work. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. . The recruitment is carried out according to the needs of the company or when the company needs employees, through internal and external sources the company also cooperates with parties looking for workers and also determines the qualifications that are in accordance with the criteria needed by the company. the recruitment of employees is carried out to obtain human resources or prospective employees who are qualified, competent and in accordance with the required qualifications, although in the recruitment process there are obstacles that are not in accordance with the wishes of the company. the company still tries to recruit more precisely on target.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on the performance of employees of PT Belawan Indah. Lack of safety at work is certainly very dangerous for employees while working because it can cause unwanted things, for example, such as rarely using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). The purpose of this study was to determine how occupational safety and health (K3) affects employee performance at PT Belawan Indah. This study uses 2 (two) variables, namely the independent variable Occupational Safety and Health (X) and the dependent variable Employee Performance (Y). The population amounted to 46 respondents with saturated sampling technique, where the entire population was used as a sample in this study, namely 46 people. The method used is quantitative method. The conclusion of the results of this study is the result of a simple linear regression of 0.405 with a constant of 20.382, which means that the two variables have a positive effect, the results of the t test show Thitung (3.657)> Ttabel (2.013), so it has an effect on variable Y (Employee Performance), while based on the coefficient of determination test there is an R Square value of 0.233 = 23.3%, so the Occupational Safety and Health variable (X) affects the Employee Performance variable (Y) by 23.3%.

Abstract

This study was conducted to provide a view that the use of technology in the digital era is very important in supporting tourism businesses. Many digital platforms can be used to promote tourism businesses such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and others. The use of digital platforms also needs to be supported by interesting content so that it can attract potential customers. The use of photos or images can also make the content more interesting. Juma Lau Nature Tourism located in Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency is one of the tours that has the potential to further increase its visitors by using digital content.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada perubahan proses belajar mengajar, yang sebelumnya menggunakan sistem luar jaringan (offline), kemudian berubah menjadi dalam jaringan (online). Perubahan tersebut mendorong adanya adaptasi dari sarana dan prasarana perkulian serta kesiapan dari mahasiswa maupun dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui posisi dosen berdasarkan kompetensi pembelajaran online pada masa pandemi Covid-19.  Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif  yang bermaksud untuk melakukan pemetaan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kompetensi dosen berdasarkan pembelajaran online, sedangkan Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS). Ghozali (2018), menyatakan bahwa  Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) merupakan teknik statistik yang digunakan untuk mengambarkan struktur dimensional seperangkat obyek atau stimuli. Populasi merupakan seluruh mahasiswa baru Politeknik Cendana Angkatan 2020,  dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang, sedangkan obyek persepsi sebanyak 7 (tujuh) orang dosen pengampu mata kuliah pada Semeter I. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai persepsi terendah sebesar 3,67 dan  nilai persepsi tertinggi sebesar 8,20. Hasil uji statistik sesuai dengan Output Joint Plot terdapat 7 orang dosen yang terletak pada kuadran 1 dan 1 orang orang dosen terletak pada kuadran 3. Pada atribut persepsi terdapat 5 atribut yang terletak pada kuadran yang sama serta 1 atribut terletak pada kuadran yang berbeda.
