Abstract

The farm sector is the sector that has the most potential in the progress of the Aufia pesantren. So far, farms in the Aufia Islamic boarding school are only given whole animal feed from the weeds found in the pesantren. This is certainly not effective because as time goes on and when the farm is growing, it will be difficult to get maximum animal feed. So we need a chopper technology to destroy food waste and agricultural products that have not been utilized which can then be consumed by the animals. The purpose of this activity is to optimize the potential of pesantren by processing an integrated mobile feed system to meet the nutrition and quantity of growth and development of sheep. This chopper machine can chop animal feed ingredients in the form of leaves and weeds in the pesantren environment more optimally. The research method used is the socialization of the chopping machine and continued with demonstrations on the use of the chopper and the fermentation process. The result of this activity is that the chopper machine functions well and can chop animal feed raw materials in the form of weeds, palm leaves and other plants perfectly, easy to operate and move by the students at the pesantren which will then be fermented for long-term storage.

Abstract

By increasing of users/devices number, Coded Random Access mechanism is suitable to enable successful access wireless successfully on super dense network. Problem of using Coded Random Access is stopping set appears. Stopping set is a harmful structure, where no other way for some trapped users in a set to be decoded. Stopping set is affected by degree distribution. This paper presents probability experiment of stopping set on Coded Random Access for Internet of Thing (IoT). It uses MATLAB R2016a as tool proving. The result of this research is used as performance networking prediction of future IoT. The results confirm that this research has a highly accuracy opportunity and becomes so practical. Then, a new graph stopping set is found on the result of simulation. The number of user/device randperm, ˄(x) and G affect the probability of stopping set on CRA for IoT network. More G approaches 1, the more number of stopping sets too appear and vice versa. For probability of stopping set on Coded Random Access, if G more keeps from 1, so occetence of stopping set on CRA prpbability is smaller. On the other side, if G gets closer to 1, so appearance of stopping set on CRA, probability is bigger.Keyword : Super Dense-Network, Coded Random Access, Stopping Set.

Abstract

Microstrip Antenna is widely developed and used in modern telecommunications equipment because of its advantages. Microstrip antenna is also used in 5G development which is expected to increase communication capacity and also be able to provide very large data rates. The frequency used in 5G is 28, 38, and 78 GHz. However, the 5G network with high frequency has a weakness: transmitted waves are vulnerable to weather because of their dense waveform. Therefore, the multiband is used to support different frequencies in one antenna. Furthermore, antenna reconfiguration is used to set the antenna to work on a different frequency and adjust different radiation patterns depending on the needs without changing the form of the antenna. This paper proposes the dual-band frequency reconfigurable antenna with RT Duroid 5880 as its substrate using PIN diodes placed between the main patch and secondary patch element and simulated on CST software for 28 GHz and 38 GHz with two conditions, ON and OFF. Both simulated and measured results show that the antenna can work well as intended. During the OFF condition, the antenna only works at 38 GHz, while in the ON condition, the antenna works at 28 GHz and 38 GHz, respectively.

Abstract

One part of forensic anthropology involves investigating skeletal remains to identify corpses, and many of these remains were found incomplete, burned, broken, or destroyed, making investigation challenging. This study aims to use the pelvis and femur to identify the gender of skeletal remains. The pelvis and femur have previously been proven to be accurate indicators of a corpse's gender. The identification process is done through the measurement of the subpubic angle of the pelvis and the angle taken straight down from the top of the femur to the patella and then straight up. The two measurements were combined using the principal component analysis (PCA) method into two attributes on the x and y axes. These attributes were later used as data for the machine learning model design. The design process consisted of an Artificial Neutral Network (ANN) design model and Support Vector Machine (SVM) design model combined into a hybrid machine learning system. The ANN and SVM hybrid machine learning were tested with acquired data. The result of the test using the confusion matrix showed 83.33% accuracy, which is categorized as "good classification" based on Area Under the Curve (AUC).

Abstract

As one of the processes of patient care, diagnosis, and monitoring are the most important steps in the medical field. Sleep apnea is a problem that affects about 25 million Americans, and 80% of them go untreated because it is not identified. Monitoring has a big role in making patient treatment decisions. So this research aims to produce a wearable resonator mask that can work as a breathing rate monitor. The proposed resonator will use the relative humidity generated during the respiration process. The resonator uses a textile jeans material that is flexible, comfortable, and fits on a mask. Testing is carried out in 3 different positions; lying down, sitting, and standing. There is a difference in the percentage of RH produced from each position based on the difference in the frequency range produced. The proposed resonator operates well at 3.9 GHz.
