Abstract

This study examines the meaning and message of a tradition that has a very deep meaning. This thesis aims to find out the meanings and messages contained in the traditional Buginess mappacci culture in Sidenreng Rappang. This study uses qualitative research methods with analysis using the theory of Charles Sanders Pierce.From the results of the study, it was revealed that the preparation and procession in mappacci is a Bugis custom whose implementation uses leafs, mappacci is a form of hope and prayer, for the welfare and happiness of the prospective bride and groom, which is arranged in a word summary of nine types of equipment. Pillows, silk covers, jackfruit leaves, banana shoots, pacci leaves, rice, candles, pacci holders, brown sugar, and coconut. That is the meaning contained in the mappacci ceremonial equipment which is always carried out at every Bugis traditional wedding in Sidrap Regency. Pacci leaf is a kind of plant in Indonesian, henna plant, and in Latin, it is called lawsania alba which means to clean or purify oneself. Thus the implementation of mappacci contains a symbolic meaning of cleanliness or holiness which aims to cleanse the soul and body of the prospective bride and groom before navigating the household ark. The uniqueness of this tradition can be seen from the social stratification in the mappacci procession, namely the giving of silk sarongs where people who are not of noble descent give seven silk sarongs while those of noble descent give nine silk sarongs. The meaning and message are contained in the mappacci process because it contains a good meaning and purpose.Based on the conclusions of the research, the researchers suggest: The Bugis community maintains the culture that has been inherited from the culture of their ancestors and it is hoped that the younger generation can preserve that culture, where the Bugis mappacci traditional wedding culture contains values ​​and meanings for the message of life mean well.

Abstract

This study has a goal, which is to see how influential a company's debt policy problems and also the distribution of dividends for each company are on the value of the company itself. The companies that are the object of this research are companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, while the subject of the company is a company engaged in the telecommunications sector. This study uses inferential statistical data analysis with multiple regression approach. The test is carried out to strengthen that the data used is objective, then the data will be tested for F and T tests, after that the data is then tested again using the coefficient of determination test using the help of the SPSS application. To determine the sample in this study, the saturated sample method was used, the results obtained were 30 samples consisting of 6 companies and each company used financial statement data for the past 5 years. The data obtained in this study were sourced from the Indonesian stock exchange. Broadly speaking, the results of the F and T tests show that the problem of debt policy and dividend distribution does not have a positive and significant effect on the value of a company.

Abstract

Solar System e-modules are electronic teaching materials that are packaged interactively to foster student motivation and enthusiasm for learning. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of e-modules as science teaching materials for grade VII SMPN 1 Watang Pulu. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D research model; Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data analysis in this study is quantitative data analysis in the form of questionnaires for material and media validators as well as questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The results showed that the use of the Solar System e-module was classified as very valid to use with an overall percentage of 89.1% and the acquisition in the field test showed that the e-module met the criteria of being very practical with a percentage value of 90.8%. This states that the Solar System e-module is declared valid and practical for use in learning.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find whether or not the use of morphological analysis can improve the student vocabularu mastery.The research was applied quasi-experimental design . It involved two groups, The experimental group and the control group. The population of this research was the second year students in academic year 2014-2015 of MTS PPUW Benteng. It consist of 7 classes. The total number of population is178 students, The researcher choesestwo classes as simple .Finally, The researcher selected VIII/D as the experimental group and VIII/E as the control group. VIII.D consist of 16 students and VIII.E consist of 16 students so the total sample of the research is 32 students The researcher applied morphological analysis on the sxperimental group and for the contol group the student tought using conventional technique . There were two Thenques of data collecting applied in this study , They were test . The test is used to compare students vocabulary achievements,The application of morphological analysis anhanced the students ability to vocabulary mastery in the second year students of MTS PPUW Benteng . The achievement in vocabulary mastery of the students who applied morphological analysis and those who did not apply morphological analysis had sighnficant difference . It was oroved by the mean score in post test of experimental group was bigher than the mean score of control groupn (79.37-66.87) and the t,test value on post test was bigher than t-table(3.363>2.042)Based on the data above the researcher cocluded that using morphological analysis increase students vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

In this study, Google Classroom's use as a web-based teaching tool for 8th-grade English courses at SMP Negeri Muhammadiyah Rappang is investigated. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach to examine Google Classroom-related problems faced by teachers and students. In-depth interviews, questionnaires, and unbiased observation were used to gather the data. The outcomes demonstrated that students had favorable perceptions of utilizing Google Classroom. The study's first dimension was on how simple it was to utilize, download lessons, and send assignments. The majority of respondents—about 68%—agreed that Google Classroom improved learning productivity for eighth-graders. The effectiveness of Google Classroom was the second factor, and 44% of respondents concurred that it was simple to use. The third dimension addressed Google Classroom usage challenges such as slow internet connections, media availability limitations, and student aptitudes. Concerning network connection restrictions, 24 respondents (47.1%) agreed while 29.4% disagreed. The fourth dimension concentrated on internet quota and network-related solutions. The majority of respondents concurred that developing new networks, asking for support from the school or parents, or all three might aid in overcoming these obstacles

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian eksprimen yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan Lectora Inspire terhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa kelas VII madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang dan Sampel dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VII.D madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang. Variabel pada penelitian ini ada 2, yang pertama yaitu variabel bebas yaitu pengaruh penggunaan Lectora Inspire(x) dan yang kedua variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa kelas VII.D (y). penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi. Data hasil tes yang telah terkumpul dan kemudian dianalisa menggunakan rumus mean. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data , diperoleh nilai X= 85,26> nilai Y = 69,47 sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaanLectora Inspireterhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa kelas VII madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaanLectora Inspire terhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa kelas VII madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang.. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis kerja yang menyatakan ada pengaruh penggunaanLectora Inspire terhadap hasil belajar aqidah akhlak siswa kelas VII madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 2 sidenreng rappang.diterima.

Abstract

The objective of the research was the find out whether or not of animal videos increases vocabulary mastery in PGRI Bulucenrana kindergarten students. This study uses an experimental design. The population of this research is one group, group B in TK PGRI Bulucenrana. In the academic year 2018/2019 with a total population of 12 students. The sample of this study was 12 students. The sample of this study was 12 students or a total sample. This study used media animals video in class. Researchers found that the use of animal videos can increase vocabulary mastery in Bulucenrana PGRI kindergarten students. The average value of the initial test (21,08) is lower than the average value of the final test (77,50), it is also evidenced by the P-Value (0,000 < 0,05) a significant level of 0,05. So the researchers concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on data analysis, the researcher concludes that: animals video media is effective in increasing vocabulary mastery in Bulucenrana PGRI kindergarten students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how using video animation affects learning outcomes for students in SMPN 2 Pancarijang. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of using video animation on the learning outcomes for IPA students in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 2 Pancarijang. The study uses a quantitative methodology with a true experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. 77 eighth-grade students from SMPN 2 Pancarijang made up the majority of the study's sample, which employed Cluster Random Sampling and included around 26 eighth-grade students. There are two variables in this essay: the use of video animation (variable bebas) and the results Students.data collection technique utilising documentation and tests. Data from the tests that were completed were then analysed using the t-test and the rumus mean. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is estimated that there are 78,4615 for the experimental group and 68,8462 for the control group. The independent sample t-test yielded Sig-2 tailed 0,784 > Sig-2 tailed 0,05.According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that the hypothesis (H1) that states that the use of video animation has a negative impact on the results of the study on students of Junior high School 2 Pancarijang "accepted" is true.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkajene Sidrap bertujuan untuk berbagi ilmu dan informasi tentang pemanfaatan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts dan Google Meet dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris online di tingkat universitas atau sederajat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan selain memberikan penjelasan teoritis dan praktis mengenai penggunaan platform-platform tersebut, juga memberikan penjelasan bagaimana penerapannya dengan teknik yang sesuai dan variasi model Pengajaran menggunakan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts dan Google Meet. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan bagi guru pengajar di SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkajene Sidrap. Dalam pelatihan ini juga dilakukan kegiatan simulasi atau praktik langsung dengan menggunakan platform Zoom, Google Hangouts dan Google Meet yang dapat diterapkan selama proses pengajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan adalah pembelajaran bahasa komunitas yang meliputi pertukaran informasi, diskusi dan berbagi pengalaman antara konsultan dan pelanggan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus hingga September 2023. Berkat PKM, para guru mendapatkan perkuliahan budaya digital dalam pembelajaran daring. Implikasi dari platform yang disajikan dapat bermanfaat sebagai referensi media dalam pengajaran online.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of ethical speaking of the elemntary school age children in grade V and found the factors cause the less ethical language at primary school age children in grade 5 SD Watang Sidenreng. This study used qualitative descriptive approach. The sources of data obtained from the fifth grade students SD Negeri 5 Watang Sidenreng totaling 28 students. Data obtained by participant observation, in-depth interviews, the study documents, then treated with qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that a form of ethical language in class V can be analyzed in terms of words, sentences, phrases, intonation elements (suprasegmental), and kinesic elements. The factors determining the level of ethical or less ethical levels depend on several factors, namely (1) smooth rough words. (2) a short length utterance. (3) the order of the utterance. (4) intonation (suprasegmentl), and kinesic cues. (5) the use of the pharase marker. While the factors that lead to unethical language in class V, namely (1) friends direct criticize the harsh words, (2) being the most correct opinion, (3) intentionaly accuse opponents utterance, (4) intentionally criticize the opponent utterance, (5) intentionaly embarrass oppenents utterance, (6) giving bad names, (7) brag or boast, (8) being happy if friends misfortune, (9) using derect speech, and (10) has become a bad habit.
