Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi peredaran darah manusia, sebagaimana berdasarkan hasil penilaian harian siswa kelas V UPT SDN 163 Gresik yang menunjukkan masih terdapat banyak siswa tidak mencapai target KKM. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar materi peredaran darah manusia siswa kelas V SD. Model Discovery Learning dipilih karena mampu membuat pembelajaran menjadi aktif dengan membuat siswa mencari tahu dan menggali pengetahuannya sendiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen. Adapun Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental memakai bentuk Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Design. Populasinya merupakan siswa kelas V UPT SDN 163 Gresik. Melalui teknik purposive sampling didapat sampel siswa kelas VA dan VB. Metode  yang dipakai untuk menghimpun data yaitu tes hasil belajar sebanyak 15 soal mengenai materi peredaran darah manusia. Untuk menganalisis  data dibantu SPSS 25, diketahui nilai rata-rata posttest dari kelas eksperimen unggul dibanding kelas kontrol. Berlandaskan perolehan  uji-t pada independent sample T test , didapat nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000<0,05, artinya H0 ditolak sedangkan H1 diterima, sehingga didapat simpulan bahwa ada pengaruh model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar materi peredaran darah manusia siswa kelas V SD di UPT SDN 163 Gresik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk hasil pengembangan. Pengembangan e-modul berbasis project based learning materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas V SD dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar yang pengajarannya masih menggunakan buku cetak, selain itu pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru dan bukan siswa, sehingga pembelajaran terkesan membosankan, tidak menarik, dan monoton. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dissaminate). Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, diperoleh hasil bahwa proses pengembangan e-modul berbasis project based learning materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas V SD dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu define, design, dan develop. Proses pengembangan telah di validasi oleh ahli proses dan mendapatkan hasil 90%. Kelayakan pengembangan e-modul berbasis project based learning materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas V SD, validasi media memperoleh nilai kelayakan 88,75%, validasi kelayakan materi memperoleh nilai kelayakan 92%, dan validasi bahasa memperoleh nilai kelayakan 92,5%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis project based learning materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas V SD sangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject at Year 5 of SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo 1, Surabaya. To this day, the learning activities remain predominantly teacher-centred and do not provide opportunities for students to develop independently through discovery and critical thinking activities. The research employs a qualitative approach. The population consists of classes V-A and V-B, each comprising 29 students, which serve as the sample for this study. The data collection technique used is a learning outcome test. Data analysis methods include prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests. Subsequently, hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test. The research instrument utilised comprises pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings indicate a significant difference between the average scores of the experimental and control classes. Data analysis shows that students’ learning outcomes in IPAS, using the Discovery Learning model, achieve an average score of 73.38 in the experimental class, while the control class obtains an average score of 64.59. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model positively influences IPAS learning outcomes, and students taught through this model are more active and demonstrate better understanding compared to those taught using conventional methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the impact of using interactive videos on students' scores in the IPAS subject for Year III at SDN Menanggal 601 Surabaya. The low level of students' understanding of IPAS material, particularly regarding energy in our surroundings, serves as the background of this study. During the learning process, many students tend to be more interested in talking or playing on their own, which negatively affects their academic performance, as evidenced by persistently low scores. This study adopts a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The model employed is the nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SDN Menanggal 601 Surabaya with a sample size of 60 students, selected through random sampling. Data collection was carried out using achievement tests, and data analysis involved prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity tests. To test the hypothesis, a t-test was conducted to explore the impact of interactive videos on students' learning outcomes in Year III IPAS lessons. The study results revealed that the average post-test score in the experimental group reached 78.67, while the control group only achieved a significantly lower average of 57.00. According to hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test, the significance level (2-tailed) was found to be 0.001.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning motivation of 5A grade students at SDN DUKUH KUPANG II SURABAYA through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the subject "How is the Shape of My Indonesia," supported by the digital media ArcGIS. The background of this research is the low student motivation in understanding abstract and less contextual geographical material. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results showed that the implementation of PBL assisted by ArcGIS significantly enhanced students’ learning motivation. In cycle I, the average motivation level was 68%, which increased to 85% in cycle II. Student engagement in discussions also increased from 65% to 82%. These findings indicate that PBL combined with digital media can create active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experiences, and is therefore recommended as an innovative approach to thematic learning in primary schools.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of individual cognitive styles, specifically impulsive versus reflective, on problem-solving performance among pre-service elementary teacher students (PGSD). Employing a quasi-experimental design with intact class grouping, 64 participants were categorized via the Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT) into impulsive (n equals 28) and reflective (n equals 36) cognitive-style groups. Subsequently, participants completed problem-solving tasks designed according to the four stages of the Polya model, emphasizing higher-order cognitive processes aligned with the C4 to C6 levels of Bloom’s taxonomy. Data analysis was conducted using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine whether significant differences exist between groups. Results reveal a statistically significant difference in problem-solving performance: reflective students outperformed impulsive ones (F equals 25.789, p is less than 0.001). Reflective learners demonstrated greater accuracy, deeper reasoning, and more systematic approaches, whereas impulsive learners tended to respond faster but with increased error rates and less elaboration. The observed effect size suggests that cognitive style accounts for a substantial portion of variance in problem-solving outcomes, underscoring its pedagogical relevance. These findings have significant implications for teacher education and classroom practice. Recognizing differences in cognitive styles can help instructors design differentiated instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning needs. Future research could further explore the long-term effects of cognitive-style-aware instruction and examine contextual moderators, such as subject matter or learning environment, that may influence its effectiveness.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi kronis di wilayah pedesaan. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi dan keterampilan memasak ibu rumah tangga melalui pemanfaatan pangan lokal berupa pancake daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) sebagai menu alternatif padat gizi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Gelang, Kecamatan Tulangan, dengan 55 anggota PKK. Metode meliputi penyuluhan interaktif tentang pengertian, faktor risiko, dan pencegahan stunting; pengarahan higienitas dan keamanan pangan; demonstrasi teknik memasak; praktik berkelompok pembuatan pancake; serta penilaian organoleptik (rasa, aroma, tekstur, penampilan) dan rencana penerapan di rumah. Hasil menunjukkan partisipasi 100% dan capaian indikator keberhasilan rata-rata 88,75%. Peserta mampu menjelaskan kembali materi kunci, menyiapkan pancake sesuai standar resep, dan menyatakan kesiapan mengadopsi menu di rumah; penerimaan sensoris baik pada rasa dan tekstur, sementara warna bervariasi sesuai proporsi daun kelor. Program ini efektif sebagai intervensi kuliner berbasis komunitas yang murah, mudah direplikasi, dan berpotensi mendukung penurunan stunting melalui peningkatan asupan protein, vitamin, dan mineral pada tingkat rumah tangga.

Abstract

The transformation of 21st-century learning and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum require elementary school teachers to design learning experiences that are oriented toward deep, reflective, and meaningful understanding. However, many teachers still face limitations in developing instructional materials that systematically and contextually integrate Deep Learning principles. This community service program aimed to enhance elementary school teachers’ competencies in developing Deep Learning–based instructional materials through workshops and sustained mentoring. The program was conducted from November to December 2025 and involved 13 elementary school teachers from several public schools inKutorejo District, Mojokerto Regency.   reinforcement workshops, mentoring in instructional material development through small- group guidance and individual consultations, as well as formative feedback and iterative revisions. The results indicated improvements in teachers’ understanding and skills in developing Deep Learning–based instructional materials that incorporate clear learning objectives, meaningful learning activities, reflective prompts, and authentic assessments. In addition to producing feasible and classroom-ready instructional materials, the mentoring activities also contributed to increased teachers’ confidence, independence, and pedagogical awareness in designing learning experiences focused on students’ deep understanding. Therefore, this program demonstrates that a workshop model combined with sustained mentoring is effective in strengthening elementary school teachers’ capacity as innovative and sustainable designers of Deep Learning–based instruction.

Abstract

The problem faced in this study is how the activity of the technological capabilities of teachers and students in the TPACK approach of elementary school. The purpose of this research is to analyze the technological capabilities of teachers and students in learning with the approach of TPACK. This type of research is qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are teachers and Students of elementary school. Data collection techniques use observations, interviews and documentation. The results of teacher technology capability activities such as learning using software in the form of: Blog, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), the ability to operate technology, learn technology, integrate technology, and use software conference is categorized enough. Teachers still don't meet all categories. While the results of student activities such as learning using software in the form of: Blog, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), the ability to operate technology, learn technology, integrate technology, and use conference software is categorized very well. Because students almost all meet the category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cognitive style (reflective and impulsive) on students' analytical abilities. Analytical ability is part of learning outcomes. There are seven levels of cognitive learning outcomes which include knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and creative problem-solving. Students' analytical abilities are influenced by many things, one of which is cognitive style. Cognitive style is a way of accepting and managing attitudes towards information, as well as habits related to the world of individual learning. Reflective and impulsive cognitive styles are cognitive styles with indicators of time understanding concepts. Reflective cognitive styles usually take a long time to respond, but consider all available options, and have high concentration while learning. Meanwhile, students with an impulsive cognitive style are the opposite. The approach used in this study is a correlational and multiple regression approach. The variables in this study are reflective cognitive style and impulsive cognitive style as independent variables and analytical skills as the dependent variable with a population of 130 students. The results showed that there was a relationship between students' cognitive style and analytical skills. The greater the cognitive style score, the greater the analytical ability score. Then the cognitive style affects the analytical ability of 19.9%, where the other 80.1% is influenced by other factors.
