Abstract

Petani di sekitar Waduk Pacal memanfaatkan lahan waduk saat air surut sebagai tempat berusahatani, sehingga waktu budidaya terbatas. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pendapatan petani, alokasi belanja konsumsi pangan, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemenuhan konsumsi pangan. Data primer diperoleh dari 100 petani sampel di sekitar Waduk Pacal, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan petani berkisar Rp250.000/bulanRp 5.000.000/bulan. Keluarga petani yang hanya bertanam di waduk mempunyai pendapatan sangat rendah, sebagian menambah pendapatan dengan bekerja sebagai buruh tani atau pekerjaan non-pertanian. Alokasi belanja pangan paling besar untuk membeli beras (26,2%) dan sumber protein hewani (16,3%). Secara umum konsumsi pangan masih dominan karbohidrat (beras). Konsumsi pangan rumahtangga petani dipengaruhi oleh usahatani, dan alokasi belanja pangan. Hasil penelitian merekomendasi perlunya pemanfaatan tepi waduk saat pasang untuk budaya ikan, sehingga hasilnya dapat meningkatkan konsumsi protein hewani. Selain itu perlu dibuka lapangan kerja pedesaan sebagai sumber pendapatan yang layak bagi petani untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga mereka.

Abstract

A good marketing strategy needs to be applied in Tempe chips business. The purpose of this investigation is how the business description Tempe chips business & determine an effective marketing strategy based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) business criteria on costs, sales value and profits. This method utilized a random sampling method with several samples studied by 23 industries. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to determine between alternative kiosk strategies and consignment. The result showed that the more effective strategy was using its kiosk. Analytical Hierarchy Process analysis results produce a value of less than 1, means that the effect of CR <0.1 is a consistent assessment. The calculation at the Eigen stage provides 1 and continues for the Lamda Max calculation of 2.354 and the CI of -0.332 and continues at the final count. The final result of the calculation of CR = -1,662. So it arguably to be consistent. The perfect strategy choice is the kiosk itself, and it can be seen from the results of the analysis with the Analytical Hierarchy Process method.

Abstract

Potato production in Batu City, East Java has increased but is not balance with the price stability received by farmers, due to market competition. This study purposed to analyze the structure of potato commodity market from Batu in Malang Raya (area includes Kota Malang, Kabupaten Malang, and Kota Batu). The sampling methods used were purposive sampling for determining potato farmers, and snowball sampling to determine traders along the marketing channel to follow the commodity flow of potato. The analysis of market structure includes market share, Concentration Ratio (CR4), and Herfindahl Hirchman Index. The results show that the market structure of potato commodities from Batu in Malang Raya is oligopoly market, which was identified from the market share, concentration ratio (CR) and Herfindahl Hirschman Index. The oligopoly market is known because the obtained CR4 value is between 20% - 80% and the value of IHH > 0.1. In this market structure farmers have a low bargaining position, whose position is as price taker. The recommendation given to increase the bargaining position of farmers is to shorten the marketing channels, for example by guiding farmers to do online marketing, so that they can have direct access to the end consumer. Further research needs to be done is analyzing the complete market structure of potato by using structure-conduct-performance approach and analysis of potato digital marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to find the important attributes of local and imported apple. A consumer survey was conducted in Java Island representated by four big cities: Malang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bandung. Three categories of purchasing place at each city are supermarket, fruit stall and traditional market. Accidental sampling was done to choose the samples of consumer. The total respondents interviewed was 240 consumers consisting of 120 for each attribute. The data of apple attributes and purchasing place were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis supported by SPSS software. The result suggests that the important quality attributes of local and imported apples are grouped in each two latent factors namely quality and cultivar. Meanwhile, purchasing place is grouped in one latent factor. All quality attributes of local and imported apples have positive correlation with the apple quality, but there is a different fi nding in which apple flavor of local and imported apples are not the most important attribute that ranked fi rst based on consumer assessment. The factor of apple cultivar always associates with the apple size, both on local and imported apples. Rome Beauty (local apple) and Fuji (imported apple) have greater average size than other cultivars. Thus, these attributes are already attached one another. The factor of purchasing place becomes an important part which accompanies the apple’s quality attributes and is considered by consumers in purchasing apple.

Abstract

Organic eggs have been marketed to provide safe food and protect the environment sustainability all at once. However, the high price is being an obstacle to expanding the organic egg market in East Java Province. The aims of this research were to analyze the factors that influence the willingness to pay (WTP) and hedonic prices of organic eggs and to formulate pricing strategies. This research was conducted by using an online survey method in East Java Province, Indonesia. The survey was conducted from May to July 2021. The obtained data were analyzed by using multinomial logistic, linear regression, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that 26.4% of consumers were willing to pay for organic eggs 10% more than the current price. The factor that influenced WTP was product quality. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the price were the eggs taste and the organic label. The results showed that market players of organic egg agribusiness still have the opportunity to increase the price of organic eggs. However, they must inform consumers about the health benefits of organic eggs and include them on the organic eggs label.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the availability and distribution of food, but its impact on food consumption at the household level was not much known. The aim of the research was to analyze changes in food expense during the Covid-19 pandemic of cases in Indonesia and Armenia. Indonesian case used primary data in April-May 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. Data were analyzed descriptively and paired t statistic test. The results showed that there was a change in consumption during the pandemic. The significant changes were an increase in the amount of rice consumption, an increase in food expense, and a decrease in the purchase of cooked meal. Snack purchases during the pandemic increased but not significantly. The Armenia case used secondary data from FAO. Regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the post-war crisis in the Republic of Armenia, it has had a negative impact on transportation, storage, sales, financial situation, access, and availability of agricultural products and labor markets. Thus, digital solutions for agricultural marketing, that is Digital Agriculture Marketplace Platform have been adopted. The conclusion was that the impact of the pandemic actually increased consumption needs. The recommendation that given was the support for food logistics transportation which very much needed in the pandemic era and more specifically supported by food distribution security.

Abstract

Food production is important to support food sufficiency. Meanwhile integratedfarming is a farming system purposed to optimize production factors in increasing yieldand also to eliminate agricultural waste, ideally it becomes zero waste. The researchpurpose was to measure food production from farm management which applied integratedfarming. This research result is used to predict food sufficiency in the region level. Theresearch was done at Batu and Malang Regency, East Java. The research subjects arefarmers who applied integrated farming, namely applying cultivation of crops andlivestock in one management and they use the waste from livestock as input of farming,vice versa. Primary data was taken by structured and indepth interview. The research showed that integrated farming can produce high yield of vegetable and dairy cattle. Meanwhile their usage of each farm waste can reduce (save) the farm cost. The success ofintegrated farming to increase yield at farm level can be used to predict food sufficiency atthe region level. If the implementation is getting wider at the region, they also can increasetheir food production. By using simulation, data of food production at farm level can beused as prediction of food production map at region level.

Abstract

Olahan produk buah matoa menjadi minuman dalam kemasan sari buah yang belum banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat secara luas masih terbilang usaha yang baru di Kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan sehingga kelayakan finansial usaha masih perlu dikaji. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial dan sensitivitas sari buah matoa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan Jawa Timur. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah kelayakan finansial menggunakan kriteria investasi. Jenis data dalam penelitian adalah data primer yang diolah diperoleh langsung melalui wawancara dan observasi kepada produsen home industry sari buah matoa.Teknik pengambil responden dilakukan secara purposive di Kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai NPV positif sebesar Rp.16.984.566, IRR sebesar 11.46%, Gross B/C sebesar 1.05, Net B/C sebesar 1.36, Payback Period sebesar 5 bulan, dan hasil analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan kelayakam finansial terhadap kenaikan maupun penurunan sebesar 10% pada usaha sari buah matoa adalah komponen benefit menunjukkan sensitif terhadap kenaikan harga bahan baku buah matoa dengan nilai 13.34% sedangkan penurunan benefit sensitif terhadap penurunan kuantitas produksi dengan nilai -5.9%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha sari buah matoa dikatakan layak dikembangkan dari hasil perhitungan kriteria finansial dan sensitivitas usaha, namun apabila terjadi penurunan sebesar 10% usaha mengalami kerugian maka pengusaha sari buah matoa agar dapat meningkatkan kuantitas produksi, memperhatikan harga jual produk, ketersediaan bahan baku, dan melakukan promosi penjualan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan usaha.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil Menengah merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha yang mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan perekonomian, namun manajemennya masih konfensional. Kinerja finansial yang dilakukan belum dikaji secara komprehensif untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial dan sensitivitas usaha industri Loyang Ncim yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan makanan yaitu kue kering. Industri tersebut terletak di Desa Bunut Wetan, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2020 hingga Januari 2021. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dengan pemilik usaha. Wawancara dilakukan karena industri tersebut memiliki keterbatasan pencatatan biaya dan penerimaan usaha. Data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai sumber literatur. Data yang diperoleh disusun dalam cashflow dengan periode selama 18 bulan. Kriteria investasi yang digunakan yaitu NPV, Gross B/C, Net B/C, IRR, Payback Period, dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai NPV sebesar Rp 36.396.296; Net B/C 2,29; Gross B/C 1,19; IRR sebesar 7,4% per bulan. Angka-angka pada berbagai kriteria investasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa industri Loyang Ncim layak secara finansial dan layak untuk dijalankan. Payback Period terjadi pada bulan ke 18, yang menunjukkan masih dalam umur proyek. Periode setelah Payback Period maka perusahaan tinggal memperoleh benefit proyek tanpa harus mengembalikan investasi. Komponen yang paling sensitif adalah benefit dengan angka sensitivitas sebesar 30%. Industri Loyang Ncim harus menjaga agar benefit tidak mengalami penurunan. Upaya peningkatan benefit dilakukan dengan cara promosi penjualan dan stabilitas harga jual. Jika memungkinkan ada kenaikan harga jual secara bertahap dengan tetap memperhatikan kompetisi harga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial agroindustri tahu "RDS" dan menganalisis sensitivitas usaha agroindustri untuk mengetahui "RDS" terhadap perubahan harga kedelai, harga bahan bakar (listrik), serta penurunan produksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Klampok Singosari Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan termasuk data primer dan sekunder, data primer meliputi observasi dan wawancara, dan data sekunder termasuk jurnal penelitian. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan untuk menganalisis aspek keuangan, arus kas, NPV, IRR, Payback Period, Gross B / C Ratio, Net B / C Ratio, BEP, ROI dan Analisis Sensitivitas. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan finansial dinyatakan layak dengan NPV Rp5 .273.927.844, IRR sama dengan 153%, periode pengembalian modal yakni pada tahun ke 2, rasio B / C kotor sebesar 1,29, Net B / C ratio 19,156, nilai produksi BEP 12 862, dari tahu organik 5928, 2,693 dari nilai tahu organik dan BEP tahu organik sebesar Rp25.739.296, dan untuk tahu semi organik Rp20.753.019, tahu organik Rp16.157.37. dan nilai ROI 32%.
