Abstract

Government of Bandar Lampung in creating urban environmental hygiene makes a policy on waste disposal time at 22:00 to 5:30 pm. To achieve Government policy seeks Bandar Lampung socialize, socialization directly by the Government of Bandar Lampung is coordinated by the Department of Hygiene and Bandar Lampung, the implementation involves district and village officials, while media socialization through the installation of banners in the streets of the protocol . Regarding the results of socialization is not yet effective in fostering cleanliness of Bandar Lampung. It can be seen from the number of people who do not comply with the policy, resulting in still garbage strewn morning. Keywords:  effectiveness, socialization, garbage disposal, environmental cleanliness

Abstract

Mangrove is groups of plants growing along the coast and mangrove has a high adaptation ability to salinity of brackish water where it has to live in this environment. Mangrove forest functions to protect mainland from sea water abrasion, to provide living for people, to be environment for sea fish breeding. People have their reasons for inhabiting and using mangrove forest; not only for mangrove potential, but also their social background to live there. People control to mangrove forest is conducted by processes and from one season to another. People are aware of what they are doing as destructing mangrove forest. However, they do not have other options because their family members need food and their children have to go to school. Stopping mangrove forest destruction can be done by means of some stages. First, people should be aware of environment potentials when it is in good and destructed conditions, second village government should be consistent about their job descriptions and coordinate with its people to preserve environment, and finally, the Forestry Office should be routinely monitoring mangrove forest register.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan efektivitas Posdaya KKN Tematik di Pekon Marga Mulya, Kecamatan Kelumbayan Barat, Kabupaten Tanggamus, periode Januari 2015. Tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan secara kuantitaif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 28 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan cara analisis tabel frekuensi melalui program pengolahan data statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, keseluruhan efektivitas Posdaya KKN Tematik di Pekon Marga Mulya Kecamatan Kelumbayan Barat dapat disimpulkan cukup efektif dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 70,9%.Kata kunci:  Efektivitas, kuliah kerja nyata, posdaya
