Abstract

Balance training when kicking is really needed in the Yoko Geri Kekomi kick for karate athletes. When kicking, athletes who lack body balance will experience falls, so training is needed to improve body balance so that the kick can be done well and does not fall when kicking. Many of the athletes at Club Inkanas Kab. Garut, who fell during training, kicked Yoko Geri Kekomi. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Yoko Geri Kekomi's kick on body balance in kata numbers of karate athletes at the INKANAS Regency club. Garut. The method used in this research is experimental research. This research uses one type of experimental research, namely preexperimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population that will be used in this research is a total of 60 kumite people using a purposive sampling technique with the sample criteria in this study being 15 athletes who are categorized as cadets and above. The instrument used is multiple single leg-hop with data analysis techniques of normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The results of the descriptive data showed that the pre-test average was 1.51 after being given Yoko Geri Kekomi treatment for 16 meetings, the post-test score was 2.48 so it was known that the increase was 0.97. Furthermore, based on the t-test, the calculated t-value was 21.52. The t-table value with df 14 at the 5% significance level is 0.691. Therefore t-count > t-table (21.52 > 0.691) and the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05) so it can be stated that there is a significant increase in the balance score by being given kick training. Yoko Geri Kekomi for 16 meetings. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between before the treatment was given and after the treatment was given in improving the balance of karate athletes at the INKANAS Regency club. Garut.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the high number of short backhand servis errors made by badminton athletes who took part in activities at the Garut University Student Activity Unit, Physical Education class of 2019. One of the factors identified as the cause of these errors was the athlete's poor foot position when making the shot. . Therefore, improvement is needed through continuous training, one of which is by using drill exercises. The problem formulation for this research is whether there is an effect of drill training on backhand servis ability, with the aim of assessing the impact of drill practice on badminton athletes' backhand servis ability.The concepts and theories used as references include training concepts, training principles, drilling practice concepts, and badminton game concepts. The results of the research show that there is a positive influence of drill training on backhand servis ability. This is proven by an increase in the average value of the backhand serve after participation in drill practice. Statistical analysis produces a calculated t value = -20.716 and t table = -2.160, with -t calculated -t table (-20.716 -2.160). Apart from that, the probability value (P value) 0.05 or 0.000 0.05, so the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference in backhand servis ability before and after drill practice.Recommendations for this research were given to the UNIGA Student Activity Unit (UKM) Manager to improve the management of UKM activities, the Badminton UKM Manager to improve the quality and quantity of training, and to the campus to further improve the guidance of UNIGA UKM as an implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan teknik dasar permainan bola basket melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT), yang mengajak siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif. Pembelajaran bola basket di SMAN 14 Garut sebelumnya menggunakan pendekatan Teacher Centered, yang membatasi eksplorasi siswa, sehingga menimbulkan kebosanan dan berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Model TGT mengelompokkan siswa dalam aktivitas interaktif yang menarik, yang terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar teknik dasar bola basket. Peningkatan signifikan terlihat dari prasiklus hingga siklus II, dengan nilai rata-rata siswa putra naik dari 66.71 menjadi 85.14, dan siswa putri dari 58.93 menjadi 77.43, menunjukkan efektivitas model pembelajaran TGT.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TGT mampu mengatasi kebosanan siswa dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis. Penerapan model ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, baik pada siswa putra maupun putri. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran TGT direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran bola basket di sekolah sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan dan hasil belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan profil wasit bola voli di Kabupaten Garut dengan fokus pada kecemasan, pengetahuan, dan kinerja mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket yang diisi oleh wasit bola voli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kinerja wasit. Wasit dengan pengetahuan tinggi cenderung memiliki kinerja yang baik, meskipun tingkat kecemasan mereka bervariasi. Beberapa wasit, seperti Abdul dan Hadi, menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan yang dikelola dengan baik dapat mendorong kinerja yang sangat baik. Namun, wasit lain seperti Silvia dan Atlam mengalami penurunan kinerja saat kecemasan meningkat, meskipun memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kinerja wasit adalah 83,3, dengan simpangan baku sebesar 12,346. Rata-rata skor pengetahuan wasit adalah 82,72 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 8,634, dan rata-rata skor kecemasan adalah 73,8 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 7,671. Uji korelasi antara hasil angket dan penilaian R4 tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa hasil angket tidak selalu mencerminkan kinerja wasit selama pertandingan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan metode evaluasi yang lebih komprehensif untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih akurat tentang kinerja wasit.

Abstract

Lemahnya pukulan dan masih banyaknya kesalahan saat melakukan pukulan dropshot yaitu pukulan dropshot yang tidak sampai atau dropshot yang dikatakan tanggung sehingga dapat dengan mudah lawan mengembalikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah efektif penerapan latihan dumbbell untuk meningkatkan hasil pukulan dropshot, serta untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh kemampuan para pemain bulutangkis di SMAN 15 Garut dalam melakukan pukulan dropshot. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain one grup pre-test and post-test design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan test ketepatan dropshot. Hasil penelitihan yaitu terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu dengan nilai rerata pretest (23.0667) dan posttest (39.8000). Ketepatan hasil pukulan dropshot pemain bulutangkis di SMAN 15 Garut menunjukan kategori “Sangat Baik” sebanyak 2 pemain dengan persentase 13,3%, kategori “Baik” sebanyak 6 pemain dengan persentase 40%, kategori “Cukup” sebanyak 5 pemain dengan persentase 33,4% dan kategori “Kurang” sebanyak 2 pemain dengan persentase 13,3%. Didapat hasil yang efektif dengan menerapkan latihan dumbbell karena latihan dumbbell dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot tangan serta kelenturan atau kelentukan pergelangan tangan para pemain di ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMAN 15 Garut.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani bukan hanya bertujuan mengembangkan ranah jasmani saja, tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan kesehatan, kebugaran jasmani, kemampuan berpikir secara positif, dan dapat menerapkan bagaimana tata cara hidup yang sehat. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan Hasil Belajar Senam Lantai Roll Depan Dan Roll Belakang Melalui Media Gambar Pada Siswa Kelas VII-A SMPN I Mekarmukti Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024”.dengan sampel berjumlah 31 siswa. Adapun metode yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yakni penelitian tindakan kelas dimana guru sebagai peneliti, dan peneliti terlibat secara penuh dalam proses perencanaan, aksi (tindakan), dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk mendapatkan Hasil Nilai siklus I yaitu dengan cara menjumlahkan Hasil nilai pada pertemuan I dan Pertemuan II, yaitu Jumlah Hasil Nilai Petemuan I sebesar 77 ditambah Hasil Nilai Pertemuan II sebesar 90, Maka jumlah keseluruhan hasil nilai siklus satu sebesar (73) dan untuk mendapatkan jumlah Hasil Nilai siklus II yaitu dengan cara menjumlahkan Hasil nilai pada pertemuan I dan Pertemuan II, yaitu Jumlah Hasil Nilai Petemuan I sebesar 74,19 ditambah Hasil Nilai Pertemuan II sebesar 87,09 Maka jumlah keseluruhan hasil nilai siklus dua sebesar (80) dengan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar 76,5 ini dapat dikatakan berhasil atau ada peningkatan karena sudah mencapai batas nilai KKM (72).

Abstract

This paper aims to show the factors that influence karate athletes in the kumite category when competing and provide an overview of how to control emotions by karate athletes in the kumite category when competing. This paper uses a descriptive method with a non-experimental design. The population in this paper is karate athletes in the kumite category in Garut Regency, totaling 57 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, so that the total sample in this paper is 17 people. Data collection in this study used observation, questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of emotions in the form of internal factors of 82.07% (high category) on athletes when competing, in addition to internal factors there is also an influence of external factors of 17.92% (moderate category) on karate athletes when competing in the kumite category. Recognizing the emotions that will arise when competing is a way for athletes to control their emotions when competing.

Abstract

Physical education is one of the subjects in schools, including elementary schools. Learning to swim is not easy as experienced by 6th grade students of SDN 2 Pataruman Garut. Where they still have a lot of difficulty in doing social interactions. One of the learning methods that can be used in this case is the Direct Instruction (DI) method with a Video Media approach and game application. This study aims to determine the effect in improving the results of social interaction through traditional sports on 6th grade students of SDN 2 Pataruman Garut. Direct learning method assisted by video media, is very good for improving the results of students' social interaction quite significantly. From the results of the analysis obtained a significant increase from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. The results of social interaction through traditional sports in cycle 1 in the Good category were 8% the number of students who completed was 15 students. In cycle 2 there was an increase in the percentage of students' social interactions in the Good category by 40%, while 23 students were complete. In cycle 3, there was an increase in students' social interactions in the good category by 64% while 24 out of 25 students were complete

Abstract

Volleyball is a sport that contributes greatly to physical activity in society and plays an important role in the positive growth of youth. Sports not only improve physical abilities but also build the character of athletes. However, most sports training programs today concentrate on achieving competitive results and ignore the formation of positive values. Character development through sports is the main focus of the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach. With the 7C approach which includes competence, self-confidence, connection, character, caring, contribution, and creativity, it is hoped that the training program can create individuals who excel in technical aspects and have positive athlete characters. This study aims to determine how the character of athletes in the volleyball sport of the ANP Garut Volleyball Club is influenced by the implementation of a volleyball training program with the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a pseudo-experiment, namely the Non-Equivalent Control Group with the Pretest-Posttest approach. In this study, 20 volleyball athletes from the ANP Volleyball Club, Garut Regency were selected as research samples. The research instrument used a PYD-based questionnaire consisting of 49 items. Athletes were given an instrument about positive youth development 7C as a measuring tool. Data analysis was conducted using statistical tests with SPSS version 28 to process data and determine differences in pretest and posttest results. The results showed that the volleyball training program through the Positive Youth Development program approach had a significant effect between the group that participated in the PYD 7Cs-based training program and the group that was not given the PYD 7Cs program, where the experimental group showed better improvements in technical skills and character.

Abstract

Objective. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of modifications to sports games to increase student interest in learning through traditional sports.. Materials and methods. This research was conducted on 33 students of XII IPA 7 class at SMAN 6 Garut. The method used in this research is experimental method. In the research design used, this is a one group pretest posttest design. The instrument used in this study is a learning interest questionnaire which has 4 indicators: (1) enjoyment, (2) student involvement, (3) interest, (4) student attention. Results. The results showed that the students' interest in learning increased according to the pretest and posttest scores that were analyzed. The variable of students' interest in learning that has a high increase is the indicator of feeling happy, with a comparison value of the pretest value of 69 increasing to 90 on the posttest, with a difference of 21, the pretest significance value is 0.06> 0.05, therefore the value is significant, and the posttest significance value is 0.21> 0.05, then the value is also significant.. Conclusion. Based on the results of the research conducted on the modification of sports games to increase students' interest in learning through traditional sports, it can be concluded that the modification of sports games using traditional sports is significantly able to increase students' interest in learning. The modifications made were successful in creating feelings of enjoyment, increasing students' involvement, increasing students' interest in learning, and also attracting students' attention to sports learning.
