Abstract

Sexual violence among students is becoming a major problem, especially in the school environment. Data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPA) shows that cases of sexual violence against children are increasing. In 2022 there will be 18 cases of sexual violence in schools. The method used is the Community Service Program related to outreach to MTs students located in Nagasari Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency. This service aims to socialize the prevention and preventive treatment of sexual violence. The results obtained from community service are that students gain improvement and new understanding regarding the forms, prevention and handling of cases of sexual violence so that students are enthusiastic about protecting themselves from promiscuity.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced development in this modern era, many people use vehicles, one example is motorbike vehicles, the increasing number of motorbikes makes some or a handful of people who do not take care of the motorbike body, because of this the motorbike body looks dull, so a Real Work Lecture (KKN) will be held in Nagasari Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency. This community service programme is carried out with the aim of training the community to make them aware of the importance of taking care of the washed motorbike body so that by washing the motorbike it looks clean and tidy. In its implementation, KKN participants used a training method that was carried out to the community in the form of making shiny liquid for motorbike bodies. Community service or youth has a positive impact, namely increasing knowledge and understanding of the importance of caring for the body of a motorbike and making motorbike body polish liquid so that the community or youth can be developed as a form of business, able to care for their own vehicle body.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect in growing and developing one's potential to realize what one dreams of. To achieve your goals you need motivation or encouragement to do something. This seminar activity aims to instill awareness of the importance of learning motivation in fostering enthusiasm for learning in Class 6 students at SDN Karangsegar 02, Karangsegar Village, Pebayuran District, Bekasi Regency. The research method was carried out using observation techniques, interviews and filling out questionnaires from Sardiman figures. The seminar was conducted using lecture and role play methods. The results of the seminar were very significant and could be said to be successful because based on the post test all participants were able to understand the material presented well. It is hoped that after attending this seminar the students will be motivated to be enthusiastic about learning and will ultimately become successful people according to their respective desires.

Abstract

Jayamulya Village is one of the villages located in Serang Baru Sub-district, Bekasi Regency and is a fairly densely populated area today. Therefore, a lot of development is carried out and will result in significant land changes. Thus, the implementation of community service related to making a map of land use change in Jayamulya Village in 2013-2023 using the ArcGIS 10.8 application. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing information and an overview of what happened to an area that previously could be an agricultural area, namely rice fields, and turned into a residential area. The data will be processed using supervised techniques in the ArcGIS 10.8 application, after which the map will be socialised to village officials. This land use change map making programme in Jayamulya Village is one way to conduct regular monitoring so that it can see changes in land area that have been updated at this time.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the formulation of student worksheed (called as LKPD) based on local wisdom that needs to be developed in learning the biology of conventional biotechnology materials at SMA N 5 Kupang City which is adjusted to the learning achievements and objectives.  The subjects in this study were 3 teachers who taught in class X of SMAN 5 Kupang City, and 175 students were randomly drawn from all grade X students of science interest at SMA N 5 Kupang City.  Research data were collected through interviews and questionnaire dissemination. The research data were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study obtained teacher and student responses including students need LKPD based on local wisdom on biotechnology material to make it easier to understand the material, In addition, in learning, teachers provide examples of the results of biotechnology based on local wisdom in the form of pictures and videos, and are presented in the form of virtual laboratories with animations to attract more students' attention, so that students are more motivated to learn which will affect learning outcomes. The biology material for class X semester that is most difficult for students to understand is biological technology innovation material, so teachers need LKPD based on local wisdom in Biotechnology material, which can help students  introduce local wisdom in their respective regions so that students can easily apply it in everyday life, and to support learning, which has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between test scores and students' perceptions of learning microbial cultures. The objectives of the research were to determine how students' technical skills correspond with their subjective perceptions of difficulty in various aspects of learning, and to identify the most difficult aspects of learning microbial cultures. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires administered to microbiology practicum students. Analysis revealed a significant correlation between test scores and student perceptions in most aspects of learning, but with variation between aspects. Aspects of basic microbial culture concepts showed a positive correlation, suggesting that students with a strong understanding of the concepts perceived less difficulty. In contrast, bacterial inoculation techniques showed a negative correlation, indicating a mismatch between technical ability and perceived difficulty. The analysis provides a comprehensive view of the factors influencing the learning of microbial culture. The results show that students perceive bacterial inoculation techniques as the most challenging aspect, despite moderately skilled students demonstrating adequate technical ability. Potential sources of technical complexity in the inoculation process, such as steps requiring precision and access to hands-on equipment, contribute to students' perceived difficulty. Although the relationship between test scores and student perceptions of microbial culture learning has been explored in this study, additional research is needed to delve deeper into the complex factors that contribute to this relationship

Abstract

Pancasila education is relevant to biology learning because it helps in the development of the Pancasila Learner Profile, which includes characteristics such as critical thinking and creativity. The purpose of this study was to analyse the relevance of Pancasila Learner Profile in biology learning and the challenges in integrating Pancasila values in biology learning. This research uses descriptive method with the sample being students of grade XII of SMA Negeri 1 Aek Kuo, SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan and SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan. Data collection was done through interview and observation. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling because this school has implemented an independent curriculum.  The results showed that for the dimension of faith, fear of God and noble character, students are required to pray before and after learning, the dimension of global citizenship, students are divided into groups to conduct experiments, the dimension of mutual cooperation, students carry out greening activities to preserve the environment. The independent dimension, students work independently on biology tasks, the critical thinking dimension, students solve problems that arise during experiments, and the creative dimension, students produce work from recycling waste.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit almost the entire world, including Indonesia, has affected all aspects of life, one of which is public services. The government has issued a policy for the whole community so that every activity is carried out online or online to prevent the spread of COVID-19 cases. All parties, especially the government, must innovate to encourage more effective and efficient public services by keeping up with the times and advancing technology. This prompted the Bekasi City Disdukcapil to create an application-based innovation called e-OPEN. This study discusses how to implement the implementation of e-Open in population services in Bekasi City. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation and literature study. Based on the research results, the e-Open application belonging to the Bekasi City Disdukcapil is considered quite effective and easily accepted by the public. This application allows busy people to manage and access their population data anytime and anywhere easily. Through the Halo Pamor menu, people with limitations in using the application also feel helped by the presence of the prestige task force.

Abstract

Background: Implementasi lesson study for learning community (LSLC) memerlukan kompetensi dan pemahaman yang tepat pada para guru. SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kota Batu mulai berupaya mengimplementasikan lesson study for learning community (LSLC) pada beberapa mata pelajaran, meskipun masih ada permasalahan yang dihadapi. Tujuan: Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mendampingi guru dalam menyusun chapter design, lesson design, dan open lesson pada bahasan tertentu untuk open class berbasis LSLC. Metode: Program ini menggunakan metode pendampingan, yang dibagi menjadi workshop, simulasi, pendampingan praktik, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan diikuti oleh enam orang guru. Pelaksanaan berupa pemberian materi yang terancang pada lesson design berbasis LS dengan praktik 2 siklus (open class/open lesson) dan refleksi matapelajaran. Output workshop/simulasi adalah chapter design dan lesson design materi bahasa dan IPS. Tim juga melakukan evaluasi tentang pelaksanaan pendampingan untuk peningkatan kualitas refleksi guru dengan cara Focus Group Discussion. Hasil: Pelaksanaan pendampingan guru bermutu berbasis LSLC adalah peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran telah berjalan dengan lancar, yang diawali dengan kegiatan penyusunan chapter dan lesson design. Pelaksanaan open class dilaksanakan pada matapelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris dan IPS. Refleksi pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring. Kesimpulan: Program ini dapat diimplementasikan secara luas dengan menyasar guru-guru pengaajar matapalajaran lain atau bahkan guru-guru lain di bawah koordiasi Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Mengah, Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) of students in the English Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau Kepulauan. The MAI consists of a self-administered questionnaire, which was administered to English Language Education students at the Faculty of Teaching and Education. This study also aimed to investigate the difference in the Metacognition Awareness levels between freshman and senior students. This study was qualitative research with 116 respondents. This study used cluster sampling which is part of probability sampling. The data were collected by using the MAI questionnaire. After that, the data were analyzed by counting the total score and percentage for each questionnaire sentence. The calculated data were explained part by part to obtain an ideal conclusion. The results exposed that the participants got the highest result in the Regulation of Cognition. For comparing Freshman and Senior Students, the Senior Students got the highest results for both Knowledge about Cognition and Regulation of Cognition.
