Abstract

Early marriage in Indonesia has garnered attention from international forums, urging the eradication of this practice to safeguard children’s rights. Despite national regulations raising the minimum age of marriage to 19 for both males and females, this practice persists due to legal loopholes allowing marriage dispensations granted by the court. Utilizing a socio-legal approach, this article analyzes 14 verdicts from the Wonosari Religious Court in 2022. The authors find that religious judges employ juridical, theological, psychological, and sociological argumentations in approving marriage dispensations based on three reasons presented by applicants. Among these reasons, two are granted not based on ‘urgent reasons’ but rather on interpretations of Islamic law and prevailing social norms. In-depth interviews with four religious judges handling these cases reveal variations in interpreting ‘urgent reasons’ in the context of marriage dispensations. The authors argue that the interpretation of ‘urgent reasons’ should prioritize the best interests of the child rather than merely considering potential violations of religious and social norms. This study provides profound insights into the dynamics of legal interpretation in the marriage dispensation decision-making process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the unavailability of teaching materials module for students. This research is a research and development, which the aims to produce a product of teaching materials such as Literacy Al-Qur'an Module effectively and efficiently. The subjects of this study were 23 fifth grade students of SD Rogomulyo 02 Kaliwungu District and accompanied by two validation experts. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and test (Pretest and Posttest). The method for developing of literacy Al-Qur'an module uses Research and development steps developed by Borg and Gall. This steps are consist of 1) preliminary research, 2) product design, 3) validation, 4) product application, and 5) analysis. The results of this study indicate that, literacy al-Qur'an modules compiled by researchers, can improve learning achievement from the averages value of students above the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria). The conclusion is based on the processing of pre-test data of 64.52 and post-test of 77.86 using Paired Samples T-Test data resulting in an average correlation data of 0.806 and a significance value of 0,000. The results of the calculation of Paired Samples T-Test found the value of Sig. (2 tailed) is 0,000 ˂ 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence on using of literacy al-Qur'an module for students, it's proven any differences in the average between pre-test and post-test results of students or have comply the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) in schools.

It requires student participation in other activities such as asking questions, doing exercises, doing homework (homework), going to the front of the class, holding discussions, and issuing ideas or ideas. By applying the picture and picture method the type of research the researcher uses is Classroom Action Research, which includes 4 stages: planning, action, observation, reflection. The results of the implementation are evaluated in reflection to compile improvements up to two cycles, while observation, documentation, and formative tests are used research data collection techniques. Based on classroom action research that has been done, it can be obtained that the learning outcomes of students from the first cycle reached KKM by 16 students or 74.09% with the second cycle reaching KKM by 20 students or 90.9%. So there is an increase in learning outcomes of 4 students or 18.18%. This study uses a library research model with a qualitative-verification approach. The data collection method uses the documentation method. The analysis results show that thematic interpretation of law and justice at Thematic Tafsir of Ministry of Religion of the Republic Indonesia has taken into account the source of authentic interpretation (al-ashil), comprehensive knowledge related to the principles of the science of interpretation and the conditions that must be met by the team of interpreters, and there is no distorted interpretation because all the interpreters have the mastery.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' interest in learning mathematics on probability material through the implementation of the Small Group Discussion model and the use of media such as coins and dice. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three stages: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The subjects of the research are 29 sixth-grade students of SD 4 Bulungcangkring for the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observations, interest in learning questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique utilized both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The research results show that there is an increase in student learning interest from the pre-cycle to cycle II. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of students showing high learning interest was 58.62%. After implementing actions in cycle I, the percentage increased to 79.31%, and in cycle II it increased again to 93.10%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Small Group Discussion model and the use of media such as coins and cards has proven to be effective in increasing students' interest in learning mathematics on the topic of probability. It is recommended for teachers to apply similar approaches in teaching to motivate students and encourage them to be more active in the learning process.
