Abstract

The referral system is the implementation of health services that regulates the delegation of tasks and responsibilities of reciprocal health services both vertically and horizontally. The referral system has levels starting from the first level health facilities, one of which is the Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Public understanding of BPJS Health, especially regarding the referral system, is one of the factors that influence the high and low ratio of referrals at the Community Health Center. With the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak, people in RW 003 Kulim Village are afraid to come for treatment at the nearest health facility. This statement was directly conveyed by local residents where they prefer to use natural herbal remedies that are chopped themselves. This is also related to the community's lack of understanding of the flow/tiered referral system in health facilities. In this article, the author describes the community service activities that have been carried out to increase the understanding of the local community about the Tiered Referral System in Health Facilities Community service activities carried out at the Nurul Ikhlas Mosque RW 003 Kulim Village, Kulim District. Before conducting counseling and finding the priority of this problem, the writer conducted a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method using a questionnaire with a total of 130 samples, with the accidental sampling technique in RW 003 Kulim Village. As for the results of this community service activity, the community already knows the flow/tiered referral system at health facilities and the requirements for their management.

Abstract

The lack of public understanding of the BPJS health tiered Referral System is a weakness that the community has. People who do not understand the BPJS health tiered referral system can experience deep obstacles in getting health services. In this article, the author describes the community service activities that have been carried out to increase public understanding of the BPJS health tiered referral system. This activity was carried out in the community area of ​​RW 001 Kel. Kulim district. Kulim Using the method of distributing brochures, lectures and Q&A. As for the results of this community activity, the community has been able to understand the BPJS Health tiered referral system. This activity can also help the community in obtaining health services.

Abstract

Mental health is the health that exists in a person where the person has a healthy soul and can carry out his daily life. If mental health is disturbed, then mental disorders or mental illness arise. Mental disorders can change the way a person handles stress, relates to others, makes choices, and triggers the desire to harm oneself. Some of the most common types of mental disorders include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and psychosis. Some mental illnesses only occur in certain types of sufferers, such as postpartum depression that only affects mothers after giving birth and sexual abuse. This counseling aims to invite and inform PGRI High School students how to maintain and determine what symptoms when exposed to mental disorders and how to avoid sexual harassment. The result of this counseling is an increase in knowledge, understanding, and awareness about the importance of knowing the symptoms of mental health and how to avoid sexual harassment at a young age.

Abstract

Radiation is the transmitter and propagation of waves that carry energy through space or intermediate substances. In physics, radiation can be interpreted as a process in which energy moves through a medium or through space, and finally is absorbed by other objects. Gadgets as an electronic tool for communicating and accessing information are growing rapidly. The use of gadgets for students is urgently needed with the aim of supporting their learning, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic yesterday. Some examples of using gadgets as learning media such as the zoom application, gmeet, teacher's room, zenius and so on. Apart from being used for studying, gadgets are also used by students to play online games or open social media such as Instagram, Whatsup, TikTok, Youtube and others. The purpose of this community service is to determine the effect of gadget radiation on student achievement. This community service is Quantitative community service with a survey approach, samples were taken using the Probability Sampling technique with a sample of 30 respondents. The instruments used in community service are questionnaires and documentation. The classic assumption test uses a normality test, auticoleration test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test using a regression analysis with a significant value of 0.05 or 5%.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still a disease that is feared especially in the tropical countries including Indonesia. Continuous efforts are needed in terms of preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever. The purpose of this activity is to provide an explanation of various ways to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever and at the same time provide an opportunity for public to act as ambassadors for the environment. The method of this activity is in the form of community socialization. This socialization was considered quite successful, seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in asking questions about DHF. It can be concluded that this outreach activity is very useful in increasing knowledge and community participation in the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever.

Abstract

Abstract

High blood pressure, better known as hypertension, is a disease that has received attention from all levels of society, considering the impacts it has both short and long term, so it requires comprehensive and integrated long-term management. Hypertension causes high rates of morbidity (sickness) and mortality (death). Hypertension is a disease that arises due to the interaction of various risk factors that a person has. Various studies have linked various risk factors to the emergence of hypertension. Hypertension, currently there is a tendency that urban communities suffer from hypertension more than rural communities. This, among other things, is related to the lifestyle of city residents which is associated with the risk of hypertension, such as stress, obesity, lack of exercise, smoking, alcohol and eating foods that are high in fat. As age increases, almost everyone experiences an increase in blood pressure, systolic pressure continues to increase until the age of 80 years and diastolic pressure continues to increase until the age of 55-60 years, then decreases slowly or even decreases drastically.
