Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing and examining the influences of competence and motivation on the regional finance management performance using regional performance incentive/reward as  moderating variable. The employed analysis mode is PLS (Partial Least Square). The study was carried out at the regional work units in Bulungan. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of this study indicates that competence and motivation variable positively influence the performance of regional financial managers. Performance financial incentive has yet to be proven to strengthen competence effect on the performance of regional financial managers, but it has proven to strengthen the influence of motivation on the performance of the regional financial managers. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the competence and motivation of regional financial managers, the performance will increase. The employees’ motivation are increasing when policymakers reward them the incentive as an appreciation to achieve better performance. Keywords   : competence, motivation, performance, regional performance incentive

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of reality therapy group counseling to improve the self-esteem of State Islamic High School (MAN) Semarang City students. To purse such objective, this study used experimental method with Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Meanwhile, there were sixteen students involved as the subjects of the study with the focus on their self-esteem (8 students joined experimental group and 8 other joined control group). Once their data were collected and analyzed by using independent sample t-test, it showed that reality therapy group counseling was effective to improve students' self-esteem (t(14) = 8,01, p < 0,01). For more, the discussion of the results of this study was directed to identify the implications of the application of reality therapy group counseling in improving students' self-esteem.

Abstract

This study is aimed at revealing the organizational response of Polkesma in facing pressure on the implementation of remuneration system and the way to continue the sustainability of remuneration system through Resource Dependence Theory and New Institutional Sociology perspective.This research uses post positive paradigm with qualitative approach and case study research strategy. The results showedthat the Organizational response which was initially shown in the form of Acquiesce met regulatory compliance (coercive isomorphism). In addition to the Acquiesce, the Polkesma showed a compromising response towards institutional pressure through the initiative to develop performance appraisal system by following the institution that had successfully applied (mimetic isomorphism) and used consultant service (normative isomorphism) to develop Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Efforts to continue the sustainability of Polkesma remuneration system were done by optimizing the escalation of main educational income, asset utilization, the principle of "smart" in the use of budget and the improvement of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi’s quality.  Polkesma had been successfully considered as the role model of remuneration implementation in the Ministry of Health.

Abstract

Pada proses produsi Box Girder di workshop PT Bukaka Teknik Utama unit Flyover Japek Elevated II pesawat angakat diperlukan untuk menunjang proses produksi. Salah satunya yaitu untuk memindahkan pelat bagian dari komponen Box Girder yang sudah melalui proses pengeboran. Pada proses pemindahan pelat tersebut masih menggunakan forklift dengan demikian proses ini dianggap kurang efektif karena tidak bisa menjangkau tempat yang ada pada bagian dalam area pengeboran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu adanya alat pemindah berupa Jib Crane yang dapat menjangkau seluruh area pengeboran agar proses pemindahan pelat menjadi lebih efektif. Metodelogi yang digunakan untuk merancang bangun Jib Crane tersebut yaitu berdasarkan hasil dari identifikasi luas area workshop, material yang tersedia dan beban maksimal pada pelat yang akan dipindahkan. Hasil perencanan yang diperoleh untuk rancang bangun jib crane aldah sebagai berikut: panjang jib = 6 [m], tinggi pilar 4 [m], derajat putar jib 180?. Dengan demikian ukuran untuk jib crane tersebut sesuai dengan kebutuhan untuk mengangkat pelat dengan maksimal beban 1 ton.

Abstract

Rancang bangun ini bertujuan untuk membuat jig and fixture drilling pada setting stiffner dan diafragma sebagai part pendukung pada pembuatan U-Box Girder di PT BTU. Produksi stiffner dan diafragma tidak jarang gagal mencapai target waktu selesai yang direncanakan, sehingga menyebabkan produksi U-Box terhambat. Proses drilling stiffner dan diafragma sebelumnya dilakukan dengan cara manual yaitu dengan mengukur terlebih dahulu titik yang ingin di buat lubang, sehingga meyebabkan kurang efisien dan tingkat kepresisian sangat kurang. Untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut diperlukan alat bantu untuk melakukan drilling secara efisien dan tingkat presisi yang bagus dengan membuat jig and fixture drillling. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah dengan observasi dilapangan untuk mengetahui masalah efisiensi waktu dalam pembuatan U-Box. Kemudian ditentukan alat bantu yang tepat untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Setelah itu dilakukan perancangan alat bantu berupa jig and fixture. Proses perancangan alat ini mempertimbangkan hasil dari konsultasi dengan pembimbing industri. Selanjutnya alat di fabrikasi dan setelah fabrikasi selesai alat di uji coba. Hasil uji coba tersebut membuktikan bahwa alat berhasil membuat lubang pada stiffner dan diafragma presisi dengan waktu yang efisien dalam waktu pengerjaan.

Abstract

Pengelasan baja beda jenis sudah banyak dilakukan dalam berbagai macam metode pengelasan sesuai kebutuhannya. Perbedaan komposisi kimia dan sifat mekanik jenis baja yang akan dilas sangat menentukan proses dan parameter yang dipilih karena akan berdampak pada kwalitas sambungan las. Salah satu cara untuk memperbaiki kwalitas sambungan las termasuk sifat mekanik adalah dengan Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa perbedaan pengaruh parameter PWHT terhadap kualitas sambungan las baja beda jenis yaitu St37 dengan AISI 304. Metode pengelasan SMAW dengan arus DC 70 A, polaritas DCRP dengan elektroda SS ? 309L. Proses PWHT dilakukan dengan suhu 550?C, metode pendinginan secara lambat dan variasi waktu penahanan yaitu 1 jam, 2 jam, dan 3 jam. Pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu uji keras vickers dan uji tarik. Hasil dari uji keras sebelum proses PWHT adalah 168,22 HVN. Kekerasan tertinggi setelah proses PWHT adalah 157,03 HVN, dan kekerasan terendah adalah 131,96 HVN. Hasil uji tarik sebelum proses PWHT adalah 51,87 kg/mm2. Hasil tertinggi yang didapatkan setelah proses PWHT adalah 48,51 kg/mm2 dan hasil terendah didapatkan 38,36 kg/mm2.

Abstract

The article discusses the concept of sufistic thinking of K.H. Ahmad Asrori al-Ishaqy, the  murshid  (the spiritual guide) of al-Qâdirîyah wa al-Naqshabandîyah  tariqa  and the founder of al-Fithrah Islamic Boarding School in Kedinding Lor 99 Kenjeran Surabaya. In this article, the writer focuses mostly on the stages of the sufistic thinking of Kiai Asrori, because there are many sufistic concept that he stated. In addition, the writer tries to unveil Kiai Asrori?s concepts on sufistic realm which are implemented in daily lives, not only by himself, but also by his pupils and his followers. The purpose of this research is to describe the sufistic concept of Kiai Asrori, focusing on the stage (maqâmat) which has been stated in his public sermon, his statement stated for certain people, and also by his scipts. Besides, the purpose of this research is also to describe about how to implement his concepts in daily lives. The writer argues that the concept of the  maqâmat  stated by Kiai Asrori is different from other Islamic mysticism figure before him not only in terms of numbers but also in orders. The most significant difference is that the followers do not have to follow the stage step by step. According to him, his followers may choose the  maqâmatwhich are suitable with their ability.

Abstract

The research aimed to study the effect of strain and altitude on broiler performance, and to find out suitable strains kept either on low and high altitude. Low altitude was in Purwonegoro North Purwokerto (80 m asl) and high altitude was in Munggangsari Baturaden (755 m asl). The research was carried out since September 5th to December 5th, 1996 using 2x3 Factorial based on Completely Randomized Design. Factor I were land altitude (d) : low (d1) and high (d2). Factor II were broiler strains (g) : CP-707 (g1), AS-101 (g2) and Lohmann (g3). Data obtained were analyzed using F test continued  to Least Significant Difference Test. The research indicated that interaction between altitude and strains significantly affected  feed convertion and income over feed  and doc cost, while strain had significant effect on feed convertion. AS-101 and Lohmann strains  kept on low altitude had the highest final weight. The low altitude gave better feed convertion and income over feed and doc cost, whereas CP-707 strain had the best feed convertion. Abstract

This research was aimed to evaluate the effect of the level of cattle reticulum meal as cholesterolsource in duck feed to accelerate molting period and post-molting re-laying process of Tegal duck.Experimental method was administered to sixty female Tegal duck aging 68 weeks old. Each treatment,comprised 3 layers with 5 repetitions, were cattle reticulum meal in feed (K), consisting of K0= 0%(control), K1 = 1.43% (equal to 0.37 g cholesterol), K2 = 2.86%, and K3 = 4.29%. The observed variableswere molting period, re-laying period, blood cholesterol level, and progesterone hormone level. Datawere analyzed by analysis of variance based on Completely Randomized Design followed by HonestlySignificant Difference Test. The result demonstrated that level of cattle reticulum meal significantlyaffected (P<0.01) molting period, re-laying period, blood cholesterol and progesterone level. It wasconcluded that 1.43% cattle reticulum meal could accelerate molting period and 2.86% cattle reticulummeal could accelerate re-laying.

Abstract

Human resource training activities at UPT BLK Singosari are non-formal education programs organized by the government to provide soft skills and certification for trainees. The training, and soft skills and certifications should increase the trainee’s competency. Therefore, this study will examine the effect of training on competence moderated by soft skills and certification.  This is a survey research using explanatory research. This research was conducted at UPT BLK Singosari. This study used a sample of 60 respondents. However, there were 10 questionnaires whose filling was incomplete so that the processed samples were 50 questionnaires. Data was collected using a questionnaire and filled in by respondents. From the data obtained, a moderation analysis is done to examine the effect each variable. This research has three findings. First, training has positive and significant effect on competence. Second, soft skills strengthen the effect of training on competence. Third, certification strengthens the effect of training on competence.
