Abstract

This research aims to know what are the factors that influence the demand and supply of red pepper in MMTC market Medan Medan Estate sub district percut sei tuan deli serdang district. This research was carried out in July 2017. This research using sampling method with way of census and purposive sampling, in this research sam 20 for trader and sample for consumer 40. Sample in this research is merchant selling red chilli and consumer shopping red chilli in MMTC highway market Medan in village medan estate sub district percut sei host district deli serdang. Simultaneously consumer opinion has a significant influence in this case because if the opinion of red chili consumers is high it can affect the demand because the size of the opinion will be able to affect the demand for goods tersebuat.. Factors affecting the supplyple used is of red chili in Pasar Raya MMTC Medan simultaneously have a positive effect is the purchase price of red pepper, production cost, profit. Partially production cost give significant influence to red chilli supply in Pasar Raya MMTC Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: analyze business income settled rice mill and roving rice mill, analyze business income comparison settled rice mill and roving rice mill. Sampling method for rice milling business census method. Based on this study set as many 13 rice milling business is the respondent. Data analysis method used is Uji Mann-Whitney with software tools SPSS 21. The results of the study showed the average income rice milling business settled for Rp 5.649.821 per 26 day as for the average income roving rice mill Rp 6.355.760 per 26 day, and for income differences uji Mann-Whitney U is 0,398. Where with results uji Mann-Whitney 0,398 there is no difference in income in permanent rice milling business and roving rice milling.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of development of patchouli oil And to identify factors - factors that affect demand for patchouli oil. The sampling method used is a census that is all patchouli oil farmers owning patchouli oil fields and refining. Data Analysis Method used is Cost Analysis.The results showed that the location of patchouli oil refining research effort by the farmers financially feasible to be developed because Value B / C ratio for patchouli oil refining business is 2.28 where the B / C 1, the average profit earned patchouli oil farmers is Rp 45,115,675 / growing season, NPV for patchouli oil refining business is Rp 41,390,526 with interest rate loan or business credit (KUR) is 9% and an initial investment of Rp 19,774,458. Factors that influence patchouli oil are patchouli oil prices and income of patchouli oil farmers but the factors that have a significant effect on patchouli oil production are income, while oil prices have no significant effect on patchouli oil production.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze income differences between farmers pumping system with rainfed rice farm   then analysis factor affecting the income of rice farmers in the pumping system with the system of rainfed rice farmers. The method that was used for farmers is purposive sampling.  Data analysis method is used average on different test methods (compare means) by using independent sample t-test with two different irrigation systems, analyzed income, analyze profit and linear regression. The results showed that there were no significant income differences between income differences between farming   pumping system with rainfed rice farm. In this study the factors that influencethe income of rice farmers in the pumping system in Pematang Johor Village Labuhan Deli District Deli Serdang District significantly affect the income of rice farmers are labor costs, is the costs of pesticides and the costs of fertilizer. And to factors that influence the income of rice farmers in the system of rainfed rice farmers in Pematang Johor Village Labuhan Deli District Deli Serdang District significantly affect the income of rice farmers are costs of fertilizer. While the non significant labor costs, and the costs of pesticides.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of dodol business and how much profit dodol producers in Village Bengkel, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research was conducted from January 2019. This study used the sampling method by simple random sampling, in this study the sample used was 30 respondents. The sample in this study were dodol entrepreneurs living in Village Bengkel, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Based on the results of research to find out progressive strategies in the dodol business, to maintaining good quality products to increase dodol demand, maintaining affordable product prices for consumers to get regular customers and adding new customers, the relationship between business owners and dodol-making workers is runs well, the dodol-making workers are active, and the method of making it is quite easy and used manually.

Abstract

The life of fishing communities is a real state of affairs can be expressed through the efforts of those who are affected by fishing season, the natural conditions are not conducive, the limited capital and a low level of education resulting in weak socio-economic circumstances. The purpose of this research is to know the level of well-being of fishing communities Medang Deras Coal District. The sample in the study as many as 30 people who represent a population that is of traditional fishing communities in district of Medang Deras Coal District. Analysis of data obtained from research results are analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. The data obtained through the dissemination of the questionnaire will be calculated frequencies and presentasenya is then presented in the form of a single table. Analysis of the results of the research level of traditional fishing communities in district of Medang Deras shows that 60% of the respondents were categorized.

Abstract

In general, polymer composite materials are molded in solid form and avoid the occurrence of gas bubbles trapped in the matrix. The resulting material becomes rigid and does not have a good ability to absorb the load given. At this time, innovations in the field of composite materials have been carried out and produced polymer composite materials with foam-shaped structures that are able to reduce the load given. In this study, a composite foam material reinforced with PEBF fiber was tested with an impact dynamic load and the test results were numerically analyzed by the finite element method. The purpose of this study is to obtain the stress distribution at the fracture point due to the impact of dynamic loads at high strain rates with the finite element analysis method. Impact dynamic test using the Air Gun Compressor (AGC) test with an impact pressure of 0.2 – 0.8 MPa. Strain wave propagation in the test specimen was recorded using two strain gauges. Numerical analysis is carried out with the help of Msc. Nastran software. Experimentally, a failure in the specimen occurred at an impact pressure of 0.4 MPa and an impact distance (ID) of 500 mm. Strain wave propagation time in the specimen averaged 37.5 ms, at which time the tensile and compressive stresses intersected at a distance of about 120 to 155 mm from the starting point of loading. The magnitude of the stress distribution in the range of the fracture zone is between 800 to 900 MPa.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to determine the hydroponic vegetable marketing channels and efficiency level of hydroponic vegetables’ marketing channels in KUTP Hidrotani Sejahtera Suka Maju Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used in this study was purposive sampling method. The sample of this research were 28 samples. Based on the survey conducted there were 2 modern markets as retailer, Brastagi Supermarket and Transmart Carrefour which sell hydroponic vegetables. Twenty-five customers were taken as samples. The method used was snowball sampling and Microsoft Excel calculation methods. Data used were primary and secondary data. The study was conducted in May 2019. The results showed that the marketing channel for hydroponic vegetable in KUTP Hidrotani Sejahtera began from producers to retailers then last to consumers. The hydroponic vegetable marketing channel at the level of the marketing agency was an efficient with efficient level of 0.15%.

Abstract

People often experience problems in their daily activities, especially service problems, such as long queues and long enough public affairs.  This problem occurs not only in urban communities but in rural communities also experience the same problem, both socio-economic aspects. This pattern of interaction and interdependence is an effort in order to utilize the socio-economic service facilities that can improve the welfare of rural communities, especially in the farming community which can later utilize the patterns that will be applied in Serdang Bedagai Regency. The approach method used in this research is the Structural Equetion Model (SEM) approach. The main problem examined and examined in this study relates to "Application of patterns of interaction and interdependence of rural communities in Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out how much the comparison of certified and non-certified seed farming income, (2) find out what factors influence the income of certified and non-certified seed farming. The sampling method uses the Proportionate Sratified Random Sampling method. The data used are primary and secondary data. The analytical method used is four classic assumption tests (simultaneous test, partial test, determinant test and multicollinearity test) and one-way ANOVA test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant comparison between the income of certified rice seed farming that is the mean value of 10,424,585.71 with non-certified rice seed farming income that is the mean value of 10,841,386.67. Factors affecting the income of certified rice seed farming arexc land area, production, fertilizer costs, pesticide costs, labor costs, and rice prices. Whereas that has no effect is the cost of seeds. Factors that influence the income of non-certified rice seed farming are production, fertilizer costs, pesticide costs, labor costs, and prices. Meanwhile, those who have no effect are land area and seed cost.
