This study adopts a survey approach through quantitative methods. A total of 57 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. The research tool being used is a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale and consists of 57 statements, covering four main variables: salary, facilities, work motivation and employee performance. Information obtained from the analysis using multiple linear regression. The study findings show that simultaneously, salary, facilities, and work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. But partially, only salary shows a significant influence on performance, while facilities and work motivation do not have a significant influence. The coefficient of determination R² of 0.219 indicates that the three independent variables explain 21.9% of the variability in employee performance, while other factors outside this study affect the rest. This finding emphasizes that good compensation system management is very important to improve employee performance. in a logistics organization like Shopee Xpress

Abstract

Acute respiratory infections remain a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children, particularly in developing countries, with bronchopneumonia representing one of the most common manifestations. Simultaneous involvement of the upper and lower respiratory tract, such as bronchopneumonia accompanied by laryngotracheitis, is uncommon but may result in severe respiratory compromise due to upper airway obstruction and impaired pulmonary gas exchange. This case report describes a six-year-old girl who presented with fever, productive cough, hoarseness, noisy breathing, and progressive dyspnea. Physical examination revealed tachypnea, wheezing that later progressed to bilateral crackles, and signs of upper airway obstruction. Laboratory evaluation demonstrated neutrophilic leukocytosis, while chest radiography showed diffuse patchy infiltrates consistent with bronchopneumonia. Soft tissue neck radiography demonstrated subglottic narrowing (steeple sign), supporting the diagnosis of laryngotracheitis. The patient had predisposing factors including undernutrition and incomplete childhood immunization. Management consisted of intravenous antibiotics, systemic corticosteroids, nebulized epinephrine, oxygen therapy, and supportive care. Gradual clinical improvement was observed from the second to the fifth day of hospitalization without complications or recurrence of symptoms. This case emphasizes the importance of early recognition of concurrent upper and lower respiratory tract involvement, followed by comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and prompt treatment to achieve favorable clinical outcomes. Improvement of nutritional status and completion of routine immunization should also be emphasized as essential preventive strategies to reduce the burden of severe respiratory infections in children.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital entrepreneurship has created new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making, while simultaneously raising ethical concerns related to fairness, transparency, privacy, accountability, and explainability. This study presents a systematic literature review to examine the ethical dimensions of AI within the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. Guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol and the PICO framework, searches were conducted across Web of Science, Scopus, and IEEE Xplore for studies published between 2020 and 2026. From 512 initially identified articles, 24 studies met the inclusion criteria and quality assessment requirements. The selected studies were analyzed using thematic coding, narrative synthesis, and quality-based evidence mapping to identify recurring ethical dimensions, operational mechanisms, and governance gaps. The findings reveal four dominant ethical problem clusters: algorithmic fairness in entrepreneurial decision-making, transparency deficits in black-box AI systems, data privacy and cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and weak accountability mechanisms in AI governance. The review further shows that responsible AI frameworks, explainability techniques, bias audits, data governance protocols, and risk-based regulatory approaches are central mechanisms for translating ethical principles into practice. The findings contribute to responsible AI scholarship, digital entrepreneurship governance, and policy-oriented debates by offering practical guidance for entrepreneurs, regulators, and researchers concerned with ethical AI adoption in resource-constrained business environments. This study provides an evidence-based roadmap for strengthening ethical, accountable, and socially responsible AI implementation in digital entrepreneurship ecosystems.

Abstract

Modernization has changed how individuals present their identities, including through fashion. For Visual Communication Design (VCD) students, In addition to being a fundamental need, clothing is also a form of visual communication that reflects creativity, character, and social identity. This study explores how VCD students interpret fashion trends as expressions of self-identity in the modern era. Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, which includes denotation, connotation, and myth, was used together with a descriptive qualitative method. Visual observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation were used to gather data. The subjects were VCD students from two Jakarta institutions. The analysis focused on visual fashion elements such as clothing type, color, pattern, and accessories as signs that construct social significance. The study's findings demonstrate that fashion among VCD students has a broader meaning beyond physical appearance. When it comes to denotation, fashion it’s represented using visual elements like clothing also accessories. At the connotative level, these elements create meanings such as casual, creative, expressive, and modern. Meanwhile, at the mythical level, fashion becomes a symbol of creative student identity, where appearance is used as a medium of nonverbal communication and self-expression. Fashion trends among VCD students are not only influenced by global trends and social media developments, but also by academic environments and visual culture on campus.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an individual's ability to understand, manage, and make appropriate financial decisions. A good level of financial literacy is an important factor in encouraging the use of banking products and services, especially among university students who are increasingly involved in various financial activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy on the use of banking products among university students based on findings from previous studies. The method used in this research is a literature review, which examines various scientific journals, research articles, and relevant references related to financial literacy and the use of banking products. The findings indicate that financial literacy has a positive influence on the use of banking products. Students with a higher level of financial literacy tend to have a better understanding of the benefits, risks, and features of banking products, making them more likely to utilize services such as savings accounts, mobile banking, internet banking, deposits, and Islamic banking products. In addition, several supporting factors, including the accessibility of digital banking services, service quality, trust in banking institutions, religiosity, and promotional strategies implemented by banks, also influence students’ decisions to use banking products. Conversely, a low level of financial literacy may limit students’ ability to effectively utilize available banking services. Therefore, improving financial literacy through financial education, socialization programs, and financial learning initiatives is essential to enhance students’ understanding and utilization of banking products.
