Abstract

The goal of this research is to analysis of feed and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) on the broiler. The material used is broiler reared in the period of 2014 were age 1 to 36 days, ranging from DOC to age 36 days, with different populations of 9 breeder. The method of sampling used is the total sample of 9 (nine) breeders in Partnership Surya Mitra Farm Nganjuk Region. Data collection used in this research is data collection observation method using quisioner for every member of breeder of Partnership of Surya Mitra Farm Nganjuk Area. The results of the research on Broiler breeders in partnership Surya Mitra Farm Nganjuk Region can be concluded that the feed requirement analysis and Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) of 9 plasma breeders have reached the standard of Core Company, especially in breeders Year 2014. Advice can be given feed and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) in Regional Nganjuk, then in this case the Company's core should still do a good cooperation, especially in terms of how to analyze the needs of feed and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), in order to more optimally and efficiently. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah analisis kebutuhan pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) pada broiler. Materi yang digunakan adalah broiler yang dipelihara dalam periode Tahun 2014 yaitu umur 1 sampai 36 hari, mulai dari DOC sampai umur 36 hari, dengan populasi yang berbeda dari 9 peternak. Metode dalam pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampel 9 (Sembilan) peternak di Kemitraan Surya Mitra Farm Wilayah Nganjuk. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi pengumpulan data memakai quisioner untuk setiap anggota peternak dari Kemitraan Surya Mitra Farm Wilayah Nganjuk. Hasil penelitian pada peternak broiler di kemitraan Surya Mitra Farm Wilayah Nganjuk dapat disimpulan bahwa analisis kebutuhan pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) dari 9 peternak plasma sudah mencapai standar kontrak Perusahaan Inti, khususnya pada peternak diperiode Tahun 2014. Saran untuk memperoleh analisis kebutuhan pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) yang baik oleh peternak plasma di Wilayah Nganjuk, maka Perusahaan Inti harus tetap melakukan kerjasama yang baik, terutama dalam hal bagaimana menganalisis kebutuhan pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR), agar bisa lebih maksimal dan efisien.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the effect of market vegetable waste on different feed media formulation on the performance of superworm age 50 to 80 days (before pupa). This research was conducted in April until July 2016 at Field Laboratory of Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University Malang. The proximate analysis of Dry Matter (DM), Ash, Crude Protein (CP), Crude Fiber (CF), Crude Fat (CF) and Gross Energy (GE) were conducted in Nutrition and Feed Laboratory of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya Malang. The material used in this study is the Superworm as many as 5400 tails. Complete Randomized Design (CRD) experiments with 2 factorial patterns are factor 1: CP content (10%, 12%, 14%), factor 2 was GE content (4000 Kkal, 4500 kcal, 5000 Kcal), 3 treatment 3 replications = 27. The measured variables were Dry Material Consumption (DMC), Increase Body Weight (IBW), feed conversion / Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and body length. The results showed that feed treatment gave a very real effect (P 0.05 ). The consumption level is influenced by the use of GE 4000 Kkal and CP 14% gives a good response with DMC rate of 2723.00 mg / head / day, the combination of GE 5000 Kkal CP 10% causes high PBB, GE 5000 and GE combination 12% The highest feed / FCR conversion and the combined use of GE 4500 and CP 12% resulted in the highest body length in superworm. The higher the protein given the higher the consumption of DM in the superworm. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh limbah sayuran pasar pada formulasi media pakan yang berbeda terhadap performance ulat jerman umur 50 sampai 80 hari (sebelum masa pupa). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juli 2016 di Laboratorium Lapangan Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang. Analisis proksimat Bahan Kering (BK), Abu, Protein Kasar (PK), Serat Kasar (SK), Lemak Kasar (LK), dan Gross Energi (GE) dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Materi yang digunakan ulat jerman sebanyak 5.400 ekor. Metode percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 pola faktorial yaitu faktor 1: kandungan PK (10%, 12%, 14%), faktor 2 yaitu kandungan GE (4000 Kkal, 4500 kkal, 5000 Kkal), dengan 3 perlakuan 3 ulangan= 27. Variabel yang diukur adalah Konsumsi Bahan Kering (KBK), Pertambahan Bobot Badan (PBB), konversi pakan/Feed Converstion Ratio (FCR) dan panjang badan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pakan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata (P0,05). Tingkat konsumsi dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan GE 4000 Kkal dan PK 14% memberikan respon yang baik dengan tingkat KBK 2723,00 mg/ekor/hari, kombinasi GE 5000 Kkal PK 10% menyebabkan PBB tinggi, kombinasi GE 5000 dan GE 12% menyebabkan konversi pakan/FCR tertinggi dan Penggunaan kombinasi GE 4500 dan PK 12% menyebabkan panjang badan yang tertinggi pada ulat jerman. Semakin tinggi protein yang diberikan maka semakin tinggi pula konsumsi BK pada ulat jerman.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to evaluate and to find out the efficiency of the influence of protein ration level to the digestibility on Dry Matter (BK), Raw Fat (LK) and Raw Protein (PK) on grower phase of Mojosari?s male and female ducks. The study was conducted in Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University?s field laboratory, started from 31 October 2016 until 21 November 2016. The materials used were 24 male and female of Mojosari?s ducks. The metabolic cage was made with the length of 60 cm, the width 18 cm and the height 45 cm. The feed treatment used was the result of feed material formulation and was prepared with different proteins ie; 16%, 18% and 20%. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) of nested pattern. The measured variables were the digestibility of Dry Material, Raw Fat and Raw Protein. The results of dry matter digestibility (KcBK) of male and female of Mojosari?s ducks showed that the effect was not significant (P> 0.05) and the KcBK average value ranged from 79.15% to 82.92%. The value of Raw Fat Digestibility (KcLK) showed that the treatment with a significant effect (P 0,05) to female duck. The KcLK of male and female Mojosari?s ducks ranged from 93.61% to 95.38%. While the value of Raw Protein Digestibility (KcPK) gave an insignificant effect (P> 0.05). The KcPK values ranged from 80.22% to 84.38% indicated that the raw protein digestibility value was high. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengetahui efisiensi pengaruh tingkat protein ransum terhadap kecernaan Bahan Kering (BK), Lemak Kasar (LK) dan Protein Kasar (PK) pada itik mojosari jantan dan betina fase grower. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium lapang Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, dimulai pada 31 Oktober 2016 sampai dengan 21 November 2016. Materi yang digunakan adalah itik mojosari jantan dan betina sejumlah 24 ekor. Kandang metabolis dengan ukuran panjang 60 cm, lebar 18 cm dan tinggi 45 cm. Pakan perlakuan yang digunakan adalah hasil formulasi bahan pakan dan disusun dengan protein yang berbeda yaitu; 16%, 18% dan 20%. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola tersarang. Variabel yang diukur yaitu Kecernaan Bahan Kering, Lemak Kasar dan Protein Kasar. Hasil penelitian Kecernaan Bahan Kering (KcBK) itik mojosari jantan dan betina menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh yang tidak nyata (P>0,05) dan nilai rataan KcBK mulai dari 79,15% sampai dengan 82,92%. Nilai Kecernaan Lemak Kasar (KcLK) menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap itik betina. KcLK pada itik mojosari jantan dan betina berkisar 93,61% sampai dengan 95,38%. Sedangkan Nilai Kecernaan Protein Kasar (KcPK) memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05). Nilai KcPK berkisar antara 80,22% sampai 84,38% menunjukkan bahwa nilai kecernaan protein kasar tergolong tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best treatment combination in the Mojosari duck ration. The study used a complete randomized design on each treatment with 3 replications resulting in 21 Test Units. From the research result showed that the highest consumption was in the treatment of A0B2 equal to 57,071,50 gr that was mixture of feed material between rice paddy 25% and Bekatul 75% with highest average value at treatment A0B2 equal to 380,48 gr / head / day. In the consumption of Digestibility Dry matter with the highest value at treatment A0B1 of 248.31 gr / head / day and also the highest daily rate of digestion at treatment A0B0 is 100% control feed. The highest dry matter digestibility percentage in A0B0 treatment was 76.85%. Highest Raw Protein Protein Consumption in A0B3 treatment was 62,82 gr / cow / day while mean of highest Raw Protein digestion was treated A0B3 equal to 54,60 gr / cow / day and highest percentage of digestibility Protein was found in treatment A0B3 equal to 86,90%. So from each treatment of feed consumption, dry matter digestibility as well as the digestibility of Rough Protein gives a very real difference P

Abstract

This research aims to determine the evaluation of local cow carcass and non-carcass production. The material used was 100 limosin cows at the age of 3 years.The equipment used was a scale, a set of tools for slaughtering process, a GOOD stamp for carcasses. The variables measured were life weight, carcass and non carcass weight, percentage carcass and non carcass. The results showed that the number of slaughtered local cows on slaughterhouse at Malang City is 100 cows/month, the live weight of local cows aged 3 years ranged from 53.116 kg per head. The average carcass weight was 290,18 kg, with the carcass percentage of 54,63 %, while the average non carcass weight was 103,92 kg with non carcass percentage 19,56 %. It can be concluded that the percentage of carcasses were quite good.To get a better percentage of carcasses, it was recommended to increase the slaughter weight of cows. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi produksikarkasdannon karkassapilokal di PD RPH Kota Malang. Materi yang digunakan adalah ternak sapi lokal sebanyak 100 ekor yang berumur 3 tahun. Peralatan yang digunakan adalah timbangan, seperangkat alat untuk proses penyembelihan, stempel BAIK untuk karkas. Variabel yang diukur adalah bobot hidup sapi limosin, bobot karkas, bobot non karkas, Persentase karkas, dan persentase non karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pemotongan sapi lokal di PD RPH Kota Malang sebanyak 100 ekor/bulan, bobot hidup sapi lokal umur 3 tahunberkisar 53.116 kg per ekor. Rata-rata bobot karkas, sapi lokal umur 3 tahun adalah 290,18 kg, dan persentase karkas 54,63 %, sedangkan rata-rata bobot non karkas sebesar 103,92 kg dengan persentase non karkas 19,56 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase karkas tergolong baik. Untuk mendapatkan persentase karkas yang lebih baik, disarankan meningkatkan bobot potong ternak sapi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of carcass and non-carcass production, in slaughtering goats in slaughterhouses, District of Sukun, Malang. This study used 75 goats per week, namely from etawa (PE) goats aged ± 2 years with varying life weights. The method used in this study is a case study, while the research data obtained from the observation process. Observation is conducting direct observations and conducting interviews about cutting patterns. The variables observed in this study include life weight, carcass weight, non carcass weight, carcass percentage, and non carcass percentage. The results of this study indicate that the highest level of carcass production in slaughtered PE goats is at a cut weight of 20-25 kg, with an average percentage of carcasses being 43.05 ± 2.62% and the average non-carcass percentage is 11.77 ± 3.55%. Whereas in the cut weight of 25-30 kg, the percentage of carcass is 46.77 ± 0.50% and the percentage of non carcass is 15.58 ± 0.37%. The level of carcass and non carcass production on the results of slaughtering PE goats with a total input of 75 fish per week and carried out for 1 month, will produce an average cut weight is 28, 97 kg, the average carcass weight is 46, 12 ± 0.17% and the average non carcass weight was 15.02 ± 0.20%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that to increase carcass production it is necessary to pay attention to the age and nation of livestock. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produksi karkas dan non karkas, pada pemotongan kambing di rumah potong hewan Kecamatan Sukun Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan 75 ekor kambing per minggu yaitu dari kambing peranakan etawa (PE) yang berumur ±2 tahun dengan bobot hidup yang bervariasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, sedangkan data penelitian didapatkan dari proses observasi. Observasi adalah melakukan pengamatan langsung serta melakukan wawancara tentang pola pemotongan. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi bobot hidup, bobot karkas, bobot non karkas, persentase karkas, dan persentase non karkas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat produksi karkas pada pemotongan kambing PE yang tertinggi adalah pada bobot potong 20-25 kg, dengan persentase karkas rata-rata adalah 43,05 ± 2,62% dan persentase non karkas rata-rata adalah 11,77 ± 3,55%. Sedangkan jika pada bobot potong 25-30 kg, diperoleh prentase karkas adalah 46,77 ± 0,50% dan persentase non karkas adalah 15,58 ± 0,37%. Tingkat produksi karkas dan non karkas pada hasil pemotongan kambing PE dengan jumlah input sebesar 75 ekor per minggu dan dilakukan selama 1 bulan, akan menghasilkan Bobot potong rataan adalah 28, 97 kg, didapatkan bobot karkas rataan adalah 46, 12 ± 0,17 % dan bobot non karkas rataan adalah 15,02 ± 0,20 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulakan bahwa untuk meningkatkan produksi karkas maka perlu memperhatikan umur dan bangsa ternak.

Abstract

The objective of current research is was to know the effect of feeding sweet potato flour as a source of energy to carcass weight, chest weight, thigh weight, and abdominal fat.The material of the research were 80 finisher male broiler with initial weight of 963.37 ± 31.23 g. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) used for research method which consisted of 4 treatment, namely feeding without sweet potato flour (P0), with concentration of sweet potato flour of 10% (P1), 20% (P2) and 30% (P3).The parameter of research were carcass weight, chest weight,thigh weight and abdominal fat. The results showed that the gift effect of sweet potato flour to carcass weight were P0 1199.4%; P1 1138.98%; P2 1076.6; P3 1038.2; chest weight of P0 358.08; P1 366.6; P2 337.8; and P3 323.4%; thigh weight of P0 479.8; P1 472.94; P2 468.4; and P3 442; and abdominal fat of P0 33.2; P1 35.6; P2 25.4; P3 27.8. Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this programme is to develop micro meatball business at Malang which is Malang’s icon. The development programme is directed to applicated science and technology of meat processed and environmental management with economic autonomy and empowerement. This programme used FGD (Focussed Group Discussion), PLA (Participatory Learning Action) and Market Joined as the methods. The target of this programme is optimalization of production and quality product. The result of this programme are (1) the business partner start to applied meatball clean production and meatball partnership cooperation design; (2) development of meatball production by using meat and chicken carcass with appropriate technology. Recommendation from this programme are (1) appropriate technology are needed to develop micro meatball business; (2) material tested need for meatball partnership cooperation design with market penetration as the focus. Keywords : Meatball, Meat, Chicken Carcass and Partnership Design Abstrak : Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah mengembangan usaha ekonomi masyarakat kota Malang berbasis Bakso yang merupakan ikon kota Malang. Upaya pengembangan tersebut diarahkan kepada kegiatan aplikasi IPTEK bidang pengolahan daging dan lingkungan hidup dengan pendekatan kemandirian ekonomi dan pemberdayaan. Sasaran akhir dari program ini adalah optimalisasi produksi dan kualitas bakso berorientasi lingkungan. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah : (1) Masyarakat mitra yang menjadi fokus pemberdayaan program ini mulai mengaplikasikan produksi bersih bakso dan tersusunnya desain kemitraan produksi bakso; (2) Usaha produksi bakso yang berbahan baku daging bakso dan ayam tersebut dikembangkan dengan adanya alat teknologi tepat guna. Dengan demikian dapat disarankan sebagai berikut : (1) Penggunaan alat teknologi tepat guna untuk mengembangkan produksi bakso secara sederhana; (2) Perlunya uji materi desain kemitraan produksi bakso yang mengedepankan penetrasi pasar sebagai fokus pelaksanaan pengembangan produk khas kota Malang. Abstract

The objective of the experiment was to elucidate the effect of pollard utilization on the layer diets and the addition of critical amino acid to produce the eggs with lower content of cholesterol. The experiment used in the study with 315 Lohman strain were randomly limited in to 7 treatments in 7 replications with 15 birds each. The treatments were: R0 (control diet without pollard and without critical of AA), R1 (10% pollard + 50% critical of AA), R2 (10% pollard + 100% critical of AA), R3 (20% pollard + 50% critical of AA), R4 (20% pollard + 100% critical of AA), R5 (30%pollard + 50% critical of AA), R6 (30% pollard + 100% critical of AA). The results showed that the utilization of pollard with amino acid addition had given no significant different on production and eggs quality. The exception result was in yolk color had significantly different. It can be concluded that the treatment of 30% with amino acid addition resulted better production and egg quality
